I am so bloated and feel like jeans are already tight. Ridiculous at 5+4: must be water retention.

Finding it really hard not to tell my friends not sure I'll be able to hold out another 6 weeks!

All good news today so far then, congrats to the new ladies and those who had positive scans.
I still feel absolutely zero symptoms so a bit worried but got my midwife appt through which made me excited. Even though I'm so worried about miscarriage I'll still tell my best friends and family before the 12 weeks is up, it was something I really regret from my last pregnancy as I hated lying and having to conceal feeling so ill. Then if it's bad news I can at least get some sympathy from them! I know everyone's different but in I'm a definite over sharer 😆.

I rang through to my gp today, they then said oh ring the family clinic.

The family clinic advised me to ring back when you're 6 weeks to get my midwife appointment set up.. is that usual?

Every area is different. I had to go to the gp due to my medical history and from there been referred to consultant not midwife care. My previous pregnancies have been a mix of gp referral and self referral (different areas)

How many DPO are you? I'm sure it will darken up! Actually I did a morrisons one and it was quite similar to that at 11dpo!

That one was last week at 14 or 15dpo

I'm sure it's just the test. My one step cheapies are very light still. Theyre stingy on the ink!

I have a history of recurrent miscarriages so understand your fears however today you are pregnant. Accept that and be happy in that knowledge.

88claire, as an expert on FRER's having pissed on hundreds over the last 3 1/2 years, those lines look perfect. Use your last test 21dpo and you should get a pale control line as the test line will pull the dye across. I got a 3+ today at 5+1, I got my 2-3 at 4+1.

I hate the bus. Urgh! Feel so 😷 finally managed to get a seat near an open window to ease it!

Wow, that is quite some list! Great to hear all the good news today from lots of you. And sympathy to the bloated ones, I calculated I am only about 5+5, but dear lord, I look like I have eaten an elephant, bloating all over. Bra is becoming unbearably tight as well. Strange how things can change in such a short space of time!

Rang my GP earlier, they said I had to ring in first thing to make an appointment for the same day. Bit hard to do with work and all. Will have to think of a good excuse to try and get an hour off or something.

You're welcome 88claire. I've tested daily since my BFP on 8/2, it's kept me sane seeing the line stay strong and the continual progression, I know exactly how you feel. Your lines are just like mine were for this BFP. Are you on any drugs for it?

No drugs no, we only started trying mid December, I got my BFP on new years day, lost the baby on 13th Jan and got another BFP on 14th Feb!

I obviously don't have any fertility issues (!!) just desperate to hang onto this one!

88claire I always fell pregnant every time we ttc, the only exception being 2 clomid cycles when I had next to no cervical mucus, and was trying progesterone from 7dpo which the Prof thought had a contraceptive effect on me. I fell pregnant first time of trying with my boys too, but something altered in my body after having them and nothing would stick. Fingers crossed yours was a one off blip and this will be a happy ending for you.

I have become quite anxious now. My sister had her first scan today at 12 weeks and the foetus hasn't grown since 6 weeks.

As I'm at 6 weeks now, it's just sent my brain into overdrive.

It's more scary as it's taken DP and I 2 years to conceive.

doomkitty so sorry for your sister, I can see why you're anxious. Only 1% of pregnancies are MMC so your chances are really low. Could you get a private scan in a couple of weeks to reassure yourself? Will be so tough for your sister as well, as you are still pregnant ☹️

Thanks for the reassurance Charmander, however the nhs website says chances of mc are 1 in 10 if your under 30 and 2 in 10 if your 30-39 and almost half of your over 40.

Hopefully, I'll be ok, only saw my GP today, wouldn't have a clue how to go about getting an early scan. Going on holiday a week on Saturday, so will try and not think too much until I get home. Pretty difficult because of the nausea that kicked in over the past 2 days.
