Thank you Genghis. It's my favourite room I the house. Pains have no stopped just a sore tummy as I have a violent baby who dances to its own tune!

Little Zelda was born at 6.01am this morning weighing 5lb 6 :) Ended up having the pessary taken out as she wasn't happy, waters broke at 5.30pm Thursday but no dilation. Finally on the induction drip at 2.30am and she flew out at 6.01am taking everyone by surprise. She's been healthy from the start. Unfortunately, I had a retained placenta removed manually with gas and air - feeling a bit beat up now but glad to be home.
Congrats mother! Hope everyone else is getting on OK :)

MotherofA · 11/03/2017 03:41

Oh, what lovely news! Congratulations!!

Mother what a little cutie, she is a beauty. I'm glad you're feeling okay despite the blood loss.

Congratulations Bobbis, and great that you're at home with your baby. Sounds like it was tough so hope you're able to take it easy(ish!)

Wonderful news about your DS Name - 9lb6!! No wonder you feel sore :) Congratulations, I bet he's a delight.

I've still over 2 weeks to go Hugh so I guess he should be happy enough to stay put until I've finished sorting stuff out! Have you had any more cramps?

MotherofA · 11/03/2017 09:04

Thank you all and wishing you best of luck in your deliveries . What an amazing journey we have shared xxxxx

hugh I'm the opposite at the moment feeling very full all the time. Also wanting a lot of ice pops!

Rough nights sleep again last night too hot couldn't get comfy especially with the stitch still there Sad

Was nice to see all the baby messages this morning though Grin

Sweetpeabec · 11/03/2017 13:48

I'm feeling super hungry constantly as well. DP thinks I'm nuts for wanting more food. But don't have any healthy snacks Blush

hugh still suffering. Struggling to breathe so hoping she stays put until I'm clear. I've had a box of ice pops since yesterday, just having drinks doesn't seem to quench my thirst unless I have an ice pop/lolly as well

I mentioned my stitch at my appointment on Thursday but she didn't seem concerned. It's now right round my right ribs so under my boob as well as round my back.

I had a bit of a tidy up this morning but had a nap before we picked up my DSSs. Hope you get your cuppa after your blitz Grin

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 11/03/2017 21:21

I'm the same Hugh and Sweetpea. Breakfast has increased to four weetabix with second breakfast happening about two hours later, which can be a bit of a tight squeeze before lunch happens. And so the day continues. I like the stockpiling of energy reason - I'll go with that too (instead of blaming the baby as I currently do!)

Sorry to read you're still feeling rotten Carol...hopefully it passes soon. It was lovely logging on to MN and seeing all the lovely baby messages wasn't it? Looking forward to the rest in the coming weeks!

Carolann8584 · 11/03/2017 22:01

Feel like all I did today was complain about the pain in my ribs, been so uncomfortable today. Dyed my hair this evening and as it is impossible to bend over the bath to wash out I got in the shower, must have spent 5 mins with the hot water on my ribs.

Breathing a little easier afterwards Smile

It was really nice to see the baby news this morning, I'm getting really inpatient for my appointment on Tuesday with my consultant to see what the plan is, they said at my last appointment that even though my BP is irregular it still follows a pattern and beany seems to be fine so they are happy for me to go over my due date! Which is in 5 days! Shock

NameChange30 · 12/03/2017 09:21

Thanks for the congrats! Smile

I was starving at the end - I think maybe for a week or so before going into labour. It was a bit like the first trimester all over again, I was even getting up in the night to eat! I figured it didn't make sense as baby was all grown but it must be our bodies' way of fuelling up for labour and breastfeeding.

Best of luck to all of you - I hope no one goes too overdue and you all have safe, smooth labours and lovely healthy babies.
