bigfam definitely contact the supervisor of midwives. Hope you get seen soon.
Goinggrey If you're feeling okay, go for it. You're with family who all sound very understanding and supportive so if you got tired I'm sure they could just deposit you back at the hotel for a nap?!
Azure I have no tips but if anyone does I'm all ears! I must have had a maximum of 1 hours sleep at a time tonight, just in so much pain from my back, ribs and pelvis I can't find a comfortable position
.
I had great visions of my early maternity leave being full of lovely dog walks but I'm currently in pain just walking from desk to the toilet when I'm at work
. It's the pelvic pain that's the worst, right at the front. I'm usually so active, it's going to be a very frustrating 7 weeks sat in the house in too much pain to go out!!! The consultant at my 28 week appointment said he's refer me to the physio but I have no idea how long that will take, that was over a week ago now. I went to see someone privately who specialises in pregnancy massage and she gave me a lot of stretches to do that should help the back pain, but there's not much she could do about the pelvic pain as that's simply the ligament being too stretchy due to the relaxin hormones (sp?)
Anyone who knows about SPD pain, am I now stuffed if it's already hurting or is there hope that I won't be house bound for the last two months?!?!
I forgot my maternity notes twice for appointments so now I leave them in the car!!!
