Great news Garden!

I'm 10+3 and living in leggings and joggers. Very conscious of how bloated I am at the moment, I feel like I have a bump already even though it's probably not noticeable to anyone else. It doesn't really help the bloatedness that all I can tolerate food-wise is carbs and cheese!

So I'm at this festival and I've started bleeding. As you can imagine I'm woefully unprepared. Probably going to leave early tomorrow and go to the EPU at Thomas's in London as its open til 3.15. Not really felt very pregnant for the last week, morning sickness all but disappeared, so I'm not feeling massively optimistic.

SecretScaryFriend · 06/08/2016 21:30

Sorry to hear that SuperDuper.
Getting checked out sounds wise. I'll keep it all crossed for you.

DaisyBank82 · 06/08/2016 22:10

super this sounds scary but try not to assume the worst. Also practically speaking I expect the medical tent at the festival might be able to help with what you need for the bleeding. This probably goes without saying but don't use tampons.

DaisyBank82 · 06/08/2016 22:10

PS - everything crossed for you.

neonrainbow · 06/08/2016 22:47

Good luck super. I hope its just implantation bleeding and that you can be seen by the epu. Flowers

SuperDuperJezebel · 06/08/2016 22:48

Thanks, I went to the medical tent and they offered me some tampons, they were nice when I declined and explained why but a bit useless. There's a General Store here so I got some supplies. Going to take it very easy and prob head to bed soon... No easy feat with all this noise!

NameChange30 · 06/08/2016 22:53

SuperDuper Hope the bleeding stops or eases and you can get a scan tomorrow xx

Rosey135 · 07/08/2016 06:54

Can't sleep, other half keeps elbowing me and snoring so I'm sitting on the sofa feeling sick and very annoyed!

Carolann8584 · 07/08/2016 07:07

Rosey I know how you feel, I've never been able to sleep past 7 but since about week 5 I've been waking at 4-5 everyday either stomach cramps, headache, too hot or needing the loo has kept me awake Sad

Cantstringawordtogether · 07/08/2016 07:12

Super hope you're ok xxx

charlybs · 07/08/2016 08:33

Super good luck. Lack of symptoms doesn't mean anything so I have my fingers and toes crossed for you. Xxxxxx

purplesmiler · 07/08/2016 09:43

Fingers crossed for you super

I had a rubbish night as well, too hot noisy neighbours blasting music and I got up to wee five times! I often wake feeling sick in the night too.

Zenzie · 07/08/2016 09:49

Yes, good luck super.

Anybody got any pain? My upper back is very painful, between my shoulder blades, and my lower back is achy too. In general I feel like I'm sore all over. I went to buy new bras in case the changes in my breasts is responsible, but in the meantime - ouch! I'm 9+2 today.

MissClarke86 · 07/08/2016 09:52

Zenzie I have the exact same thing. We're on holiday in a cottage in Wales at the moment and I found it really tough to sleep last night because the bed rolls you in a bit in the middle and my back was killing me.

We also didn't get hungry until quite late , went out for a drive and couldn't find anywhere open to eat! Followed the satnav home and it chucked us out in the middle of a country lane in the pitch black..with no phone signal. Pretty scary!!

Dustycorners · 07/08/2016 10:20

Super thinking of you, hope you get checked out and everything is ok.

Lozza92 · 07/08/2016 10:58

Been worrying a bit this morning, woke up and no morning sickness for the first time after 3 weeks of being sick every morning Confused

neonrainbow · 07/08/2016 11:33

The further on im getting the less symptoms im getting. Strangely i have had some upper back pain. All the way along ive had symptomy days and non symptomy days. I don't think it means anything.

alphabook · 07/08/2016 11:44

Really hope everything's ok Super x

I've heard it's normal for symptoms to come and go Lozza, I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry.

I'm feeling bloody awful today. Had a really bad nights sleep, I was really sick before bed so I kept waking up in the night feeling really hot and dehydrated. And on top of the sickness and exhaustion I now have diarrhoea as well. Fun.

Symptoms def come and go, especially once you get around the 8 week mark and the placenta is fully functioning. However, I'm desperate for my nausea and sickness to go, but know that if they do I'll freak out!

Alpha sorry you're feeling rubbish. It sucks. I feel soooo hot all the time. Every room I go into I'm opening windows. I have a fan on all night. I know the weather is warm anyway, but I am radiating heat. I think it's caused by increased blood flow, but it makes the nausea feel more intense. Bleurgh.

neonrainbow · 07/08/2016 12:54

I was in mothercare wornoutboots and a woman saw we were looking at side by side prams and she said dont do it. My mum had twins and she said the same. She said its so hard to maneouvre around shops and its impossible to open doors etc get the pram through the way you can with the inline style. We are going for the babystyle oyster max... we had a look in the shop ans its no wider than a normal pram and you can use loadsof different configurations depending what you need.

ItsMagicYouKnow · 07/08/2016 13:04

Hi everyone!

Jezebel got my Fx for you, and hope you get seen soon.

Feeling dreadful ly pathetic here, can hardly stand and my gums are white. I know I should try taking a prenatal vit, but the tablets are too big for me to swallow Confused I'm seeing the obs-gyn on Wednesday so she might suggest something. Poor DS is v. frustrated that Mummy can't get off the sofa for long. OH seems to think I was just as bad last time, and I've always suffered from PMS, so I think I'm just a bit over-sensitive to hormones. No twins here I should think! Grin

SuperDuperJezebel · 07/08/2016 13:54

Hello beautiful ladies... I just saw my wriggly little baby, perfect size, strong heartbeat! I'm so utterly relieved. Thank you all for your good wishes, and as I just said to DH, god bless the NHS!

NameChange30 · 07/08/2016 14:03

SuperDuper Woohoo! That's such good news, must be a huge relief. So glad all is well. x
