Congrats Relax! Oh no, be careful. I almost fainted getting out of the bath the other day. Made me realise I need to be a lot more careful. I haven't had many symptoms so far, I want more so it starts feeling more real! Just really sore boobs and odd cramps. And I'm a lot more hungry!

Have fun everyone who's going out tonight, and good luck!! I'm going to watch cricket later and normally I'd be all over the Pimms so I'm not sure how I'm going to explain that one!

NameChange30 · 25/06/2016 12:01

I've been getting odd cramps too. No other symptoms apart from a bit of nausea but nothing serious. I did have a nightmare in my 2ww, woke DH up as I was screaming apparently! After he recovered from the panic the first thing he said was "maybe you're pregnant"... which I laughed off at the time!

alphabook · 25/06/2016 12:17

I had a weird nightmare last night. DH was friends with my ex (they're not in real life) and my ex was having a massive go at me while DH just stayed quiet and let him tear me to shreds. It was so vivid I woke up crying!

Relaxbaby · 25/06/2016 12:29

Oh gosh, I've been having strange dreams already. I can't remember last nights but I know I woke up thinking that's crazy and not real!! 🙊
Are these first babies for you all?
I have a 7yo and 2yo twins. Like I said this pregnancy is a shock! We still can't believe it. In reality I don't know how I'm going to cope with young twins and a baby but it'll work out ok I'm sure.
Just not feeling like eating anything which is really unlike me. Even hubby suggesting things I feel queasy!

alphabook · 25/06/2016 13:01

Eek, that'll be a lot to handle but I'm sure you'll be ok. And it'll be lovely when they're older for them all to be so close in age! This is my first one.

AGnu · 25/06/2016 15:16

I've got 2 DSs so this would be #3, assuming I'm actually pregnant... after my BFP yesterday I thought it would be fun to POAS again today but it was negative! I've been POAS daily for a week now & have been getting very faint BFPs every other day & BFNs the other days. Yesterday I used a ClearBlue in the afternoon & another this morning but using FMU so, in theory the hormone concentration should've been higher today - I'm confused! I'm also nauseated, exhausted, achy & have sore breasts. AF isn't actually due until Monday or Tuesday so I guess I just need to wait it out. It's the pattern of every other day that's so bizarre!

neonrainbow · 25/06/2016 15:18

Its my first. I have a dsc so ill be fine from age 3 and up but no idea what to do with a baby... that's a long way off!!

Cantstringawordtogether · 25/06/2016 19:59

Agnu that's annoying about the bfp/bfn.....you're right that all you can do is wait and see, frustrating though I'm sure!
This will be dc6 for us all going well :)
Relax I usually just want to eat all around me at this early stage but I've no appetite at the moment either!

mynameisntLinda · 25/06/2016 21:15

Hellooo (waves shyly from the corner), please can I join.
just got bfp today (after having a BFN on monday) so i presume i'm very early on. no idea when "it" happened exactly but crossing fingers : )
lulu i have ds at 14 months and i'm also wondering what the hell i've let myself in for!! it was him being fussy on the boob that made me wonder if I should test. I thought I had af on thursday but it stopped last night so i tested this afternoon and couldn't see a line so dh got a digi and it says im 1-2 weeks.
i'm struggling to read back on the thread on my phone but will try and keep up.

alphabook · 25/06/2016 22:42

Congrats Linda!

That's really odd AGnu, hope you get an answer soon.

Relaxbaby · 25/06/2016 23:34

Hi Agnu. Are you using wee from the same time I.e. First mornings?
My first test was dark then I tested again the next day and it was really light but it was very concentrated if that makes sense so need to only test on strong wee. Sorry not the nicest way to put it.

I don't actually know how far along I am, I'm Guessing 5/6w. Bit scared and still not sunk in. Didn't poas today and miss that back up.

Neon - I don't know what dsc is? x

Alpha- have you been ttc awhile? How you feeling with first one?

Cantstring- do you have boys/girls? I have 3 girls and wondering if the different symptoms mean it might be a big. We aren't really bothered but would be nice to balance it out Abit.

Hope everyone's had a lovely Saturday. x

AGnu · 25/06/2016 23:56

The positive I got was at about 2pm, the negative was the following day's FMU. So weird! I've got a digital test now but I'm planning to hold out until Monday before I use it. I'm seeing family members tomorrow so plausible deniability could come in handy - I'm bloating like no-one's business & I'm sure I was at least 4 months gone before I had such a big belly with DS1! Blush It's going to be particularly noticeable given I've lost a lot of weight recently. I don't have particularly baggy t-shirts either!

NameChange30 · 26/06/2016 04:45

AGnu
My advice is to test with a FRER using FMU. If you test using ICs at other times the results won't be consistent and you'll drive yourself crazy.
I've only done one test (a FRER with FMU the morning after my period was due) and it took some willpower to wait that long but the payoff is that I'm confident in the result and don't feel the need to test again. I might do another test to reassure myself before I see a doctor/midwife or before I tell my family. But that's it! I'm not allowing myself to do any more! I have kept the test I did (and a photo) so I can keep looking at it to reassure myself it's real Smile

In other news... I've been awake for about an hour and don't feel at all sleepy Angry

Cantstringawordtogether · 26/06/2016 06:14

Morning all, AGnu I get mad bloated as well, hope you manage to hide it from family today!
Relax I have 2 girls and 3 boys. Each pg has been so different for me but hasn't been gender related in my case! I was sure DS2 was a girl but actually I've guessed wrong 4 out of 5 times!!!!
Congrats Linda :)
I think dsc is step-child?

alphabook · 26/06/2016 07:19

I definitely agree about doing a FRER with FMU AGnu.

Relax - I've been having fertility treatment for a year and a half but the whole process has taken about 3 years. I had an early mc just over a year ago so I can't quite believe I'm actually having a baby yet! I'm just focused on the first milestone which is my early scan.

Rarotonga · 26/06/2016 07:53

Good morning! I'm very excited to be able to join you on this thread! I got my BFP yesterday, initially on an internet cheapy test and then got 1-2 weeks on a clear blue digital. It hasn't sunk in yet!! Congratulations to everybody else.

CatalinaFuckingWineMixer · 26/06/2016 08:07

Hi,
Hope it's ok for me to join in! I'm 4 weeks (5 tomorrow), I've had 3 different due dates from websites because my cycle wasn't regular after coming off the poll last year, but I'm going to go with the NHS website which says 4th March.

I got a very, very faint positive on an IC on Thursday afternoon, tested again on Friday morning and there was a definite line. Couldnt resist testing again yesterday and today and I'm relieved to see the line getting stronger and coming up quicker.

DH and I have been trying since April, and have conceived this month on what was potentially the same day that we went to choose our new puppy 😳 How's that for timing!

It's our first DC and we've been married for just over a year. I think DH is still a little shocked and hasn't quite taken it in. I've had sore boobs for over a week and constantly feel nauseous but haven't been sick (yet!).

namechange I've been awake since 4.45 today, usually on my days off I have to drag myself out of bed. It feels like my body is trying to prepare me for life ahead with no sleep!

mynameisntLinda · 26/06/2016 09:45

relax yeah I've ad symptoms already which is what's made me test. Ds was fussy on the boob and I felt nauseous yesterday. I didn't want to know I was pregnant this early as I didn't know if the sickness was just all in my head but I've felt sick before I knew I was pregnant. Really hope it's not as bad as last time not sure I can handle 36 weeks of sickness :(
Dsc is stepchild btw.

rarotonga me too :) think my edd is 2nd March.

How many of you will be announcing bfp before the 12 weeks scan?
I feel like I should wait but if I'm sick again like last time people are going to know. Dh also says he feels like it could be too soon because my body hasn't got "back to normal" and is worried it's going to go wrong. But I only had 1 period when I came of the coil and conceived ds.

mynameisntLinda · 26/06/2016 09:57

I forgot how annoying it is when you type a post and then it doesn't post it Angry

relax yeah I've had symptoms already. Felt nauseous and ds has been fussy about breastfeeding. Wasn'tWasn't planning on testing because I wondered if morning sickness was just in my head so I thought if I didn't know then maybe I wouldn't feel sick. But I felt the nausea before I got the bfp. Just really hoping I don't have 36 weeks of sickness this time round. I was nauseous and vomited every day (except 8 seperate day...yes I counted!) From being 5 weeks to the day I gave birth at 41+1 .I'm so dreading the nausea :(

Hope everyone's feeling good this morning :)

mynameisntLinda · 26/06/2016 09:58

Sorry about that...looks like my first post did post Angry bloody phone.x

neonrainbow · 26/06/2016 09:59

Yep my lovely stepchild. God knows how he will take it i hope he is happy about it, hes 9.5 so old enough to understand.Congratulations new bfps 😂

Ive also had really vivid dreams the last few nights.

BridgetDoodle · 26/06/2016 09:59

Hi ladies! Tentatively joining...I did a FRER test yesterday morning, thought it was negative and put it in my bag. 6 hours later I picked it up to see a line! 4 tests later, all with lines I started to believe it. Clear blue digital said not pregnant so that put a dent in my confidence. Did a clear blue plus with FMU today and there is a line Smile AF is due on Wednesday so going to save digital till then and hope it's positive also FX.
I would be due 8th March which seems like soooo far away. This is my first and really our first month of TTC so it has come as a big but happy surprise!

neonrainbow · 26/06/2016 10:01

Mynameisntlinda as it's my first we couldn't wait 12 weeks to tell people... we have told both our immediate families and now will probably wait to tell more people at 8 weeks after my midwife appointment. That seems a long way away!

neonrainbow · 26/06/2016 10:03

Welcome bridget! I got a positive on a first response at 10dpo which was about 5 days before my period was due. I think you probably are pregnant 😂 congratulations! It also my first proper month of ttc so i was very shocked too.

BridgetDoodle · 26/06/2016 10:19

We are pretty much the same then Neon! How many weeks are you now? I already want to shout it from the rooftops 🙈
When are you due?
