Wow, 2many I'm not surprised you are scared! Congratulations though, just think how close they will be as they grow up.
I remember at 9 months being suddenly very broody, so I'm sure you will love it once the time comes.

Cantstringawordtogether · 22/06/2016 17:42

Hello everyone, I'm cautiously joining in here, edd 1st or 2nd of March. Got a very strong line on a frer yesterday morning at ??dpo and then this afternoon tried another one and came up before I got the cap on!! This will be dc6 for us, totally freaking out about it now that it has actually happened!!!

neonrainbow · 22/06/2016 18:12

6!! I am struggling to imagine life with one!

AGnu · 22/06/2016 18:26

Congrats Cant! With both my 2 DC I've had a "what have I done?!" feeling after getting a BFP. It's not hit me yet this time, but then I've not actually had a BFP so I've still got plausible deniability...

alphabook · 22/06/2016 20:23

Congrats Cant!

2ManySweets · 22/06/2016 21:22

DC6?! omg cant! Congrats too Wink

Cantstringawordtogether · 22/06/2016 22:43

Thanks! And congrats to all of you! I actually said nothing to Dh until this evening even though I tested yesterday morning, just needed to process!!!!

Cantstringawordtogether · 22/06/2016 22:45

AGnu I've had that what have I done feeling before too, funny how you kind of panic once it becomes a fact rather than just a possibility! Fingers crossed for your bfp x

Maybebabybee · 23/06/2016 12:30

Hello everyone. I'm from the March 2016 thread and was Shock to see there's a 2017 one already!! My LO is 14 weeks now.

Just wanted to say congrats to you all, March is a lovely time to have a baby.

NameChange30 · 24/06/2016 13:17

Hi, congratulations to you all!

I got a BFP this morning and due date is 2nd March. I'm feeling a strange mixture of disbelief and euphoria! DH and I have been trying since February, and this is our first.

Can anyone advise when I should see a doctor or midwife and which one I should see?

I definitely feel like shouting it from the rooftops but we've decided to wait a few weeks before telling close family and friends. We're going on holiday soon and we'll tell them when we see them after we get back. But holding out until then will be hard!

NameChange30 · 24/06/2016 13:20

PS I don't mean which doctor or midwife specifically, I mean which of the two Grin

2ManySweets · 24/06/2016 13:31

Hello and congrats NameChange; lovely news on a sad news day.

When I got my first BFP last year, I just called my GP surgery. I went in, the receptionist asked me what hospital I wanted (I'm in central London) and gave me a form to complete. They faxed it over there and then and a few weeks later I had my 12 week scan date letter appear in the post (along with my NHS free prescription card).

Again, well done. Now phone your GP!

alphabook · 24/06/2016 13:32

Congrats NameChange!

See your GP first, a booking in appointment will be arranged with a midwife later on.

NameChange30 · 24/06/2016 14:50

Thanks both, I'll book a GP appointment Smile
Yes I agree, it's a strange news day - I'm absolutely gutted about the referendum and absolutely thrilled about being pregnant!

MrsStavrum · 24/06/2016 15:19

Hi All, I got my BFP yesterday and I am due the 4th March!!
This is my second pregnancy as I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks but didn't find out until my 12 week scan last month which was awful so I am trying really hard not to get too excited. I am very lucky to have got pregnant again so quickly!
I am very cautious about telling anyone as telling people what happened before was so hard so just me, dh and the Dr know so far and I think I will keep it that way for now.

Fingers crossed everyone, I hope you are all not feeling too bad! x

AGnu · 24/06/2016 15:27

I can officially join the thread... got my BFP this morning! DH is going through a rough time with family right now so it's nice to have some good news for him! Smile

Cantstringawordtogether · 24/06/2016 16:46

Oh lovely to see more bfps joining, congratulations to you all :)

alphabook · 24/06/2016 17:12

Congrats MrsStavrum, I also had a mc and this my first so I understand how you're feeling. It's so hard not to get your hopes up!

Congrats AGnu, that's great news!

neonrainbow · 24/06/2016 22:40

Congratulations everyone! I did a different due date calculator today and it says 28th feb but I'm staying put on this threadit's close enough to march!

Ive been so tired this week its ridiculous. I dropped into my GP today and filled out my midwife referral form... it still doesnt feel real. We are going to tell some more people tomorrow as well.. dhs brother and best friends.

AGnu · 24/06/2016 23:48

My symptoms seem to be easing off a bit, thankfully! With my other DC I had just one day of pre-BFP symptoms on 7dpo but this time it started at 6dpo & went on for the best part of a week! I'm hoping it's not a taste of what's to come - first pregnancy I hardly had any symptoms but last time I wasn't sick once but was so nauseated I couldn't even drink for several days & spent most of the first 6 months in bed!

We've not told anyone, although some of my friends know we were thinking of trying. Chances are the entire world will know before too long - I have a tendency to blurt out whatever's in my head! Blush

H007 · 25/06/2016 07:05

namechange I would check your surgery policy. Mine is to book a booking in appointment at around 8 weeks. Last time I made a GP appointment, and got a grumpy why are you here you should be seeing a MW response.

Congratulations to the new BFP's. Neon I'm thinking I'm a late Feb now so have a foot in each camp at the moment.

I have a cocktail party to go to tonight, goodness knows how I'm going to hide this one.

H007; I have a wedding to attend today. It's the first time me and DP have been out on our own since DD was born Confused.

We've been telling everyone who'll listen "YEAH WE'RE GOING LARGE ON THIS ONE OI OI"

cut to scene of me and DP chucking prosecco out of our glasses and topping up with illicit Schloer

Hmm
Cantstringawordtogether · 25/06/2016 07:47

Lol enjoy the wedding 2 many sweets! Hope you had fun at the cocktail party H007 :)
AGnu hope that nausea stays away!
We won't be telling anyone until after I have my first scan, hopefully around 11/12 weeks, and might not even tell anyone then!!! Although I show kind of early and my tummy muscles are so rubbish after previous pg I have no hope do sucking it in!!!!
Did a digital test this morning in an attempt to make it more real and got 2-3 weeks so think I'm pretty sure about timing etc now :) still not feeling real though!
Enjoy the weekend everyone x

Relaxbaby · 25/06/2016 10:42

Hi everyone,

Can I join you, going out I was pregnant thurs morning. Very shocked but really happy. I didn't track period dates and due to previous fertility problems didn't think we'd get preg.
So here I am, did a clear blue yesterday that said 2-3. I'm already hacing symptoms, but yesterday I fainted and hurt my head and back as constantly feeling nauseous and dont really want to eat anything! Anyone else having any symptoms yet?
Has anyone been to Drs or had an early scan yet. It's definitely exciting. 😊
