Possibly.

LOL Mossy/Rosy - the pet shop we got to calls the biggest bones they do "Postman's legs" I'm guessing its a bit of a cow's leg in reality.. but he's tried to bury that in my plant pot which houses a miniture fir tree and nothing bigger.. apart from this bone now, of course... which I would put money on him getting stressed out as he won't be able to find it!

3rdTriMossTer · 29/01/2007 14:47

Amie that's put my mind at rest

What type of dog do you have (you've probably said but I can't remember, sorry)?

Have you ever given him dry pigs ears?

Our two love them but they STINK!!!

AmieR · 29/01/2007 14:51

he's an alsation/akita cross! Scooby

yup he loves those too, infact anything he can eat... he adores.

Rosylily · 29/01/2007 14:59

Well I am a doggy lover though haven't had a dog for years now but really they are rotten aren't they? Anything that pongs to high heaven and they love it! Ours used to roll in poo and walk around like he had the most expensive aftershave on. Yuch, I always had to bath him.

Well in between sitting on mn all day today I have washed all my cot blankets. And I 'm contemplating going on vertbaudet to order some colourful fitted cot sheets but I know I'll be tempted to get loads of stuff they are offering a buy now pay July thing...(twitch, twitch)

3rdTriMossTer · 29/01/2007 15:29

Amie now I remember him!!

They do love anything horrible don't they?

Rosy one of ours is just the same, and it's funny really:

Merlin is an adorable looking Border Collie, he looks like butter wouldn't melt, very handsome doggy with a really sleek coat, incredibly well trained.

Arthur is really scruffy, no matter how much I groom him he looks like a stray, and is very cheeky. I worry he looks like the poster dog for an RSPCA advert, he's such a meff!

Which one do you think goes out of his way to run in muddy puddles and roll around in rabbit droppings?

Rosylily · 29/01/2007 15:33

Merlin..?

Rosylily · 29/01/2007 15:45

But of course Moss peoples dogs tend to look like their owners so question is...which one is your alter ego and which is your mans???

Rosylily · 29/01/2007 15:46

And whos alter ego rolls on the poo??

3rdTriMossTer · 29/01/2007 15:56

Rosy, it is indeed Merlin!

I think Merlin is more like dh (clever, but moody) and I'm more like Arthur (scruffy but ever so affectionate and cute, lol!)

Although neither of us role in poo!!

Actually atm I am more like Ziggy, the cat. Both he and I spend most of our time sleeping and eating, doling out the occasional scratch / bite to those who annoy us!!

Rosylily · 29/01/2007 15:59

Don't worry, You'll both be rolling in poo in a few weeks

3rdTriMossTer · 29/01/2007 16:00

Rosy lol, poo and sick and goodness knows what else!

I suppose at least having pets has prepared me for that bit of it!

LunarSea · 29/01/2007 16:35

This thread's about to self destruct (well not let us post anymore) - so there's a new one here

sexkittyinwaiting · 29/01/2007 16:37

Hi all back from my scan. baby is 'within the normal range" just. Since at his last scan he was coming up bigger than average this doesn't bode well. I was ++ on the proteins with urine so I don't know if that means I have an infection or not. The weight guestimate at the mo is 3lb 10 oz. TBH ladies I'm really worried and upset. I can't do this preg thing anymore. I want it over with,
I whole heartedly believe that nothing I can do will make a difference now. I could sit and eat nothing but pork pies and not move for the next 8 weeks and that's not going to make him bigger. I am to go back in a couple of weeks to be rescanned to check on growth. Something's going on, I know it.
How was your scan foxy?

TheBlonde · 29/01/2007 16:39

Kitty - did they check your placenta on the scan?
The weight thing can be quite inaccurate so LO could easily be 1lb bigger

AmieR · 29/01/2007 16:44

x-posts with lunar I think

new thread here

foxabout2pop · 29/01/2007 17:33

Kitty - what do you suspect might be going on? It doesn't sound too bad from what you say, but can understand you're anxious. Was everything OK re. heartbeat, head circumferance, leg measurements etc?

I got an ambigious result too. The placenta has moved in the right direction, but is still only 2.5/3cm from the "Os" (love that word). The hospital want it to be at least 4cm from Os in order to say everything is OK.

I have another scan booked in three weeks - 19 Feb, to check placenta again.

Consultant wrote on my notes "aims for an active birth in the birth centre but if placenta doesn't move or the baby's head is too high up we'll aim for a CS"
