It's the calm before the storm (sort of) that is Fantastic February and the March Madness - we did a lot of shagging last summer! We need more JSers on this, our 44th thread!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 44th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 43rd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 57th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Also when do you worry about heavy discharge being waters? Blush Think it's just discharge but sort of keeping an eye on it.

jelly! Stomach cramps eh? Hope they are the exciting laboury kind and not the annoying illness kind.

ThursdayLastWeek · 18/01/2016 12:03

Waters feel more like wee than discharge pretz.
IM (induced) E there was no mistaking waters for anything else, but I did have a rather Hollywood-esque gush.

If you feel like you're wet, put a pad in. Any MW you speak to will want to look at it I think.

jellypi3 · 18/01/2016 12:09

pret I think waters a clear and sweet smelling? Could be wrong though.

Also think stomach cramps are the stomach bug kind sadly :( currently suffering the shit's plus back ache...

pretzelpieces · 18/01/2016 12:19

Okay cool, thanks viroids!

jelly boo, sorry to hear that Sad get well soon.

CarrotPuff · 18/01/2016 12:52

I think if Gouda was being induced today she would have posted already. So her silence must mean she's done a baby!

Pretz I think general advice is to put a pad on and lie down for half an hour. If you get a gush when you stand up it could well be your waters.

My Gap order already arrived - I've only ordered last night Shock Can't wait to get home to try it all on!

KeepTheHope · 18/01/2016 13:10

Found you!

Hope you all had a nice weekend, the baby showers sound lovely!

Pretz good news on 3/5 engaged. Gx it won't be too long to wait for you. You too jelly, hoping it's actually the start of something masquerading as a stomach bug.

Gouda I hope you're ok and the silence means mini cheese made an appearance.

Struggling to remember what everyone else said but hoping all the viroids are ok!

We had a lovely weekend pottering around the house doing bits of DIY until mid afternoon then relaxing for the rest of the day. It's now scan week, eek!! 12 wk scan on Thursday and I bet the next few days drag because I'm getting so nervous. Any distraction techniques will be gratefully received.

pretzelpieces · 18/01/2016 13:46

carrot wow that's speedy service! Hope plenty of it fits nicely. Good tip on laying down. The earlier mini gush was just after I got up. Will try it once my lunch has gone down.

keep Ooh how exciting, not long until you'll see your little one wriggling around on screen. No advice on distractions I'm afraid, I can't think about anything other than baby stuff at the moment!

Peenut · 18/01/2016 14:23

Go Gouda if you are indeed doing a cheese child!

Good luck for Thursday Keep! Try not to think about negative things and allow yourself to enjoy it! I was too stressed but seeing baby wriggling around was amazing, and unexpected! (I never imagined they wirggled so much!)

Just been very grown up and bought a new car (well new as in second hand) ... I've always had bangers but think the days of exhaust fumes in the car need to go now (as with current car)! I'm not even vaguely interested in cars so bit gutted actually to get on to debt to pay for one. If you saw my current wheels you'd agree it was sensible though! ;)

Right –Will try bravissimo to support my baps correctly! M&S was shit! I need to accept it's wave goodbye to fancy bras time Feathered. Just need to know what darn size I am but will check out John Lewis too.

I've always imagined waters breaking in that 'Hollywood' style Thursday but you never know Pretz! Good luck with waters-watch! (And doing a baby.)

Hope the poos get better soon Jelly.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 18/01/2016 21:26

3/5ths is more than halfway pretz!

jelly hope you're feeling better soon or doing a baby soon

gouda hope you are having babybel snuggles right now!

I was snuggling DD just now as she woke up and the baby kicked her in the back! She was most amused Grin ahhh sisterly love already...

honeysucklejasmine · 18/01/2016 23:56

Lol Sky! Poor DD!

Gouda any news?

Way to go, minipretz!

I had a nap on DH earlier. I drooled. Thankfully on to the blanket. Not him.

I am sexiness personified.

jellypi3 · 19/01/2016 06:44

I'm so jealous you are engaged pret! This one is still 1/5 (or was last week anyway).

No baby action here! Still got the pain and aching foof but no tightenings or anything.

Really hope gouda is OK

fruitlovingmonkey · 19/01/2016 07:49

I read the beginning of that last post and my first thought was "ooh, I didn't know Pretz got engaged, I wonder when that happened." A bad night's sleep seems to have addled my brain!
Hope it won't be long for you Jelly
Congrats on the new car Peenut
Sounds great Tri shame you didn't get to go. I'm currently weighing up the risk of premature birth in exotic land vs my desperate need for sunshine.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/01/2016 08:12

Ditto Fruit! I was thinking "how did I miss that?!"

CarrotPuff · 19/01/2016 08:12

That's funny sky, I can't keep DS's hand on my bump long enough for him to feel anything, and tbh I don't think he'd notice. But then he's only 2.

I think baby has moved further up. No more pressure downstairs when I walk (and no more fanjo daggers thank god) but now I cant breathe when I sit down Confused You can't have it all I suppose...

I hate myself for not ordering anything from Gap earlier. I'll either have to forget about weight loss after pregnancy so that I get to wear these trousers forever or we'll have to go for #3 just so that I get to wear them again!

ThursdayLastWeek · 19/01/2016 08:20

We're the same here carrot with both the 2yo DS who won't sit still ong enough to feel the baby, and the high up baby. But I can also feel it under my section scar quite often so it's either fairly long or spinning around loads!

DH & I went out last night - pizza, drink and a movie. It's was so nice to be out of the house and not looking after DS - but all that sitting down meant the baby was all up in my grill all evening Grin

We saw Creed - vair easy on the eye.

Hope everyone's ok?

jellypi3 · 19/01/2016 08:24

Sounds like a nice evening thurs :)

carrot I've got combined pressure below and squashed lungs. I'm sure this child is going to be huge.

Tis a frosty -2 here this morning. I'm off to meet up with my nct group who haven't popped yet.

5hell · 19/01/2016 09:03

no advice for distraction techniques keep but my one tip would be take cash to pay for scan pics - they were a voluntary contribution a ours but forgot to take any cash to 20w, despite getting about 8 great pics! Blush

30w today - OMG! this shit is getting real! DH said he's freaking out a bit this week, but he's hiding it well.

V chilly dog walk this morning...brrrrrrrrrr!

sounds like a nice evening thurs :)

hvae fun jelly ...we've got first nct tomorrow evening - eek (see above re shit getting real)!

Peenut · 19/01/2016 09:41

That's good your DH is hiding his worries and stressed well 5hell.

May I moan about my DH. He is not hiding his anxieties and worries well. It's been playing on my mind that rather than discussing at least some positive aspects of becoming parents/how lucky we are to be even doing this it's all 'I feel so worried', 'I feel so stressed', 'I just don't feel like enough of a grown up to make a good job of it, what if I am rubbish and don't know what to do?'

Me, me, me. Oh I am so worried about MEEEEEEE!

That's what it feels like he is saying anyway. I'm sure he is happy about this but it's being masked quite well with all the negativity.

For gods sake, in a way I wish he wasn't so honest! I've got to tell clients that I'm pregnant today, I think they'll be happy for me but it's still stressful and still a big day to mark in facing up to life changes and reorganised priorities.

Before he left for work I could have done with a – how are YOU feeling dear? And maybe a sympathetic –if I was about to tell my boss I was going to be off for a year I'd be a teeny bit stressed out.

We need to have a serious chat but whenever I ask him what specifically he is so concerned about he can't really say, in other words, himself.

Rant over. I'm sure all your Miroids were much more supportive and unselfish.

Peenut · 19/01/2016 09:42

Sorry, hijacked the fred!

pretzelpieces · 19/01/2016 10:22

Aw cute sky! Mini pretzel kicked DP in the head when he tried to listen for her heartbeat Grin

honey Grin work that drool, oh yeah.

jelly Ah don't worry, I think they can slot down at any stage can't they. Apparently doesn't mean much I'm just hoping against hope it might make induction slightly shorter! Hope you have fun with nct gang.

fruit and honey Facebook did the same thing. I private messaged someone about it and now I am getting wedding ads. Ha.

carrot glad your new trousers are pleasing Smile

pee Oh that's frustrating. I guess he is just getting his head round the whole thing but definitely sounds like you need to tell him you need more support than that. Everyone finds it daunting but you need him to be a team with you!

News from my vagina - no more 'waters' so must have been just epic swamp foof Grin
The council rang this morning to say they'll be redoing my bathroom ceiling on the 4th and 5th of February. Eeeek I might be just home from hospital with an approx 5 day old baby then. Stressful. My mum has moved her shifts so she'll be off work if I need to escape there while DP stays here with the workmen.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/01/2016 10:22

Don't worry Peenut that's what we're for!

Sorry your DH is being a twat. It's definitely worth sitting him down and telling him to sort himself out. This shit is real, and he needs to support you. Emotionally and physically.

I ate a cream egg for breakfast. And I am not ashamed.

Last few bits for hospital bag are starting to arrive now. Still need to get some sort of nighty, but otherwise I have it all. Now, to put it in the bag...

pretzelpieces · 19/01/2016 10:28

Ooh hospital bag packing, how exciting honey! I am going to hit the creme eggs HARD once I get this baby out!

I'm having a baby next weeeek. How odd.

I hope gouda is busy snuggling a baby. Tell us what is happening gouda, we miss you!

Peenut · 19/01/2016 10:37

Thanks guys ... meh. A bit more 'team baby' positivity would be great ... I'd like to be feeling happier today but he's really annoyed me, and probably has no idea he has because he is a man.

Honey! I might eat a cream egg for elevenses! You are on to a good thing! ChocolateChocolate

Must be painful/uncomfortable to have babies wedged in your ribs;/fanjos Viroids –but lovely to feel like there's an actual baby in your tummy, not an imaginary wriggly thing! (Says the person who doesn't currently have a baby wedged anywhere unusual.)

My dog has just brought shame upon me. She's got hold of another studio holders lunch and eaten three packets of oatcakes and two bread rolls!! BAD DOG!

FeatheredTail · 19/01/2016 10:37

Aw, Pee. You need a really stern word with him. Because I have the temper/maturity of a 3 year old, I'd be tempted to leave the room, silently when he next starts up and then storm back in, shouting/incandescent with rage, 2 minutes later.

But because you sound more adult, you need to nip this in the bud with a proper conversation about how shit it makes you feel when he says stuff like that - he can't expect you to carry to load of two people worrying/being anxious and he can't expect his whinging not to take the fun and excitement out of this time. Flowers

FeatheredTail · 19/01/2016 10:39

Good work on the egg Honey. I have had:

a blueberry bagel, generously buttered
a large bowl of fruit and fibre
a slice of soreen
half an apple
working my way through a box of 'nerds'.

You know I was saying I was concerned I'm not putting on enough weight? Yeah, I'm not so worried anymore. #weightgain3000 is about to be upon me.
