It's the calm before the storm (sort of) that is Fantastic February and the March Madness - we did a lot of shagging last summer! We need more JSers on this, our 44th thread!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 44th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 43rd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 57th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

**disclaimer. I make freakishly strong babies and although not unheard of, my experiences are rareish. So don't freak out if you don't feel anything yet!

5hell · 17/01/2016 15:24

10/10 for new fred thurs

No snow here, not even frosty this morning, but we're not letting that stop us lighting the fire!

Body pump done, new larger gym clothes and gym ball purchased, food shopping done...all that's left is continuation of attic tidying, roast beef cooking and chilli and bologneise batch cooking (note the high beef content of this week's menu!)

Should we be worried about gouda??

CarrotPuff · 17/01/2016 15:29

Thanks for new Fred Thurs.

Went to H&M yesterday to buy some mat jeans. Bought nothing as they didn't have the sizes AngrySad Was so upset and fed up when I got back that DP was quite concerned... Went on Gap website today though and bought some nice looking trousers and jeans in sale. Ordered all possible sizes so that once they arrive something actually fits, and I can send the rest back. So feeling a bit more positive today Smile

CarrotPuff · 17/01/2016 15:30

Pressed post too soon, but need to go and hang the sheets out...

SecondCupOfTea · 17/01/2016 16:22

Sky I felt my first flutterings at 11 and a bit weeks. I'm sure many will say I was imagining it, but it was the same sensation, and it continued up to about 16 weeks, then eased off until it started again around 20 weeks. Even the sonographer at my 12 weeks scan said I might well be feeling movements already. However, I realise that it doesn't happen to everyone.

I'd like to suggest it's my svelte figure that caused it...but I don't one (never have)!

CarrotPuff · 17/01/2016 16:27

It's baby shower weekend by the looks of it! Glad you enjoyed yours honey and country, jelly I hope yours is nice too!

We had some snow in the morning, and managed to go for a walk. It's all gone now. Very nice walk in the woods, but I could barely move by the end of it Sad My right hip/thigh hurt so much I could barely move it. It went away when we came home though Hmm Maybe it's my new wellies...

DP was really annoying me today, as he was supposed to do the bins and hoover, but was faffing about. He's done the bins though and is hoovering now, so he's forgiven Smile

Really fed up of asking to do such simple things like hoovering, when I can just do it myself normally, but I can't Sad He also had to take my boots off for the last two days Blush

Sorry for the moany post but it's been really getting me down lately...

Peenut · 17/01/2016 18:45

New fred! And it does seem to be the weekend of the shower! Hope you all had fun ladies.

Your fire looks toasty and lovely 5Hell Are your doggies labs, they look so cosy!? (Maybe you could toast a piece of green cake on there?

I ran ok it was a fast walk with some pauses for breath and snowy photo opportunities with dear dog this morning. Fresh cruchy snow, white trees and ... flipping dog went and rolled in FOX POO. URGH! Ruined the snowy loveliness with her stinky deed!

Sky I think you could rock the 50s maternity wear!

Kate I love a bit of hand knitted baby stuff! I might start a bit of knitting for our baby but I am famed for starting things for friends babies, and then not finishing it until they have their second!

Don't beat yourself up about the lack of shagging– sounds like you've had a rough time, hope you get second tri burst of energy very soon!

Carrot Glad your DP did the hoovering, eventually. Bah – it's a drag having to ask though. They should just do it immediately upon entering the house and not have 'nice rests' or 'man faffing.'

I can't wait to feel baby move –at the moment just trapped wind. Come on bean! Wriggle! (Was actually disturbed Ovia says I am now 15 weeks preggo with an eclair! That's BIG! Sorry watermelon ladies. I just feel we've gone from grape to eclair very quickly!)

OH and M&S are full of shit. My 36 D bras look like I've bought them so I can stuff them full of tissue –tried them on again at home and they are HUGE!

KateBeckett · 17/01/2016 19:07

Might well have been wind I felt pee !! Haven't felt anything since, despite poking baby a bit Blush Blush

Also, I think the bra people on style and beauty say that m&s are shit are bras... Maybe have a look around in there for tips?!

jellypi3 · 17/01/2016 20:01

And it's over! Baby shower was great, exhausting but great. Got spoilt rotten (or at least baby did) So feeling very blessed. Knackered now lol!

Can we assume gouda has done a baby?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/01/2016 20:18

I do wonder about minicheese. I can't remember if gouda is on the FB group or not?

Glad you had a nice shower jelly

honeysucklejasmine · 17/01/2016 20:27

Gouda is only on the thread. I would guess a baby has happened. Smile

Jelly glad you had a fab time!

I am so excited to hit the shops tomorrow for last few bits... Essentially I need sleeping bags.

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/01/2016 21:09

Tk maxx good for gro bags honey

I hope you're OK Gouda

I've had lots of tonic water this eve after my legs started twitching gggrrrr

OP posts:
honeysucklejasmine · 17/01/2016 21:45

I take a quinine based medication so thankfully haven't suffered from RLS.

TKMaxx is my plan! Grin

TriJo · 17/01/2016 21:45

Kate They are bloody awful for bra fitting! Go to Bravissimo if you have a branch locally, Rigby and Peller if you're feeling flush, and Debenhams can be good too.

Have the place to myself this weekend, DH git is in Tenerife with his mates and keeps sending me pictures of them on the beach, at the pool, of beer and food... I've basically watched sport all weekend between rugby, football and American football!

31 weeks today. My tolerance for wearing bras and real trousers is going down by the day and baby's latest trick seems to be pushing down with his hands and up with his little feet at the same time.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/01/2016 22:38

Tri that's exactly whay mine is doing and I am getting the rib flare. Last night she was boxing the cervix. Not cool babies, not cool.

Ain626 · 17/01/2016 22:59

Just popped by to say hello to everyone in grads.. can't believe you're all getting so big!!! Hope things are going well.

gouda it seems everyone things you may be doing a baby.. good luck if you are!!!!

KateBeckett · 18/01/2016 07:17

Oooh! waves Pom poms come on mini cheese!

fruitlovingmonkey · 18/01/2016 07:36

Morning Viroids, hope you enjoyed your baby showers.
Shell that photo is winter perfection! What lovely dogs.
We finally got snow over the weekend. The village was transformed into a winter wonderland.
Tri is Tenerife warm enough for beach/ pool? I'm hankering after a winter sun holiday!
Sorry you're feeling down carrot, hopefully your shopping will arrive soon and cheer you up.
Pee when I outgrew my regular bras I went straight into John Lewis soft maternity ones. Ugly as fuck but very comfy and have lasted through a couple more growth spurts.

fruitlovingmonkey · 18/01/2016 07:37

And hope everything is going well Gouda

jellypi3 · 18/01/2016 08:05

Hey ain!! :) hope all is well over on the undergrads Fred!

If I remember right, gouda is being Induced today if she hasn't done a baby?

I've woken up with ear ache and stomach cramps. Fun!

FeatheredTail · 18/01/2016 09:28

Hello! The baby showers all sounded lovely and cake filled - gla you had a lovely time all.

5hell that picture is HEAVEN. Really want to get our fireplace fully operational next year. You've spurred me on.

Pee - there are no words for how bad fox poo smells. Especially when combined with wet dog smell. You have my sympathies.

Had a lovely weekend which involved trying out some prams in mothercare (they are all mostly MAHOOSIVE. Seriously. Felt like steering a 4X4 with many of them). Oyster 2 is leading so far due to size.

Had a gorgeous country walk for miles with DH with a stop off at the pub for a massive lunch. Finished the day with the new series of Call the Midwife - SCORE!

AND my new mattress arrived and it's amazing. AMAZING.

Slight concern this weekend that I'm not gaining enough weight. This is not a stealth brag nor is it a sentence I've EVER uttered before, but I've only gained 3kg-3.5kg. Seems pretty feeble? Feeling porky and sure the weight is going to come on pretty quickly (I've taken to eating two breakfasts) but I'm 23 weeks and thought I'd be way chunkier.

5hell · 18/01/2016 09:56

it is lush to have a proper fire feathered, much better than the 50s gas monstrosity that was there when we moved in! dh grew up with one lit most of the winter, so he's a pro at sorting it out too :) (yes chocolate lab brothers pee - they are such dicks to each other when the fire's on though, just barging the other out the way/lying on top of the other/practically burning their faces because they're so stupid!)

I wouldn't worry about weight (either too much or too little) feathered ...as long as you're not depriving yourself/hungry all the time etc then I'm sure it's fine. I guess we all gain weight at different rates, and some not at all! I think i've sort of come to terms with my weight gain now...doesn't help that dh is losing weight, or that 99% of it has gone on my thighs/arse!!!! but i just tell myself it'll be good for bfing?!

quite a nice blog post from a MW: mothercareblog.com/pregnancy/grill-the-midwife/

FeatheredTail · 18/01/2016 10:10

My DH has become even leaner recently too 5hell - all sinew and muscle. Whilst I'm certainly not complaining I do feel like a shapeless slug in bed next to him. Not a fat slug, but a wobbling, shapless, waistless slug. Niiice. Definitely not depriving myself, so will await the inevitable gain that will happen.

Also Grin at your dogs - my old cat once had to be carried away from the fire as she'd become almost comatose with heat/unable to move and her whiskers looked like they'd curled (fried) in the heat. Haha. I'd do the same if I had a fire though...

TriJo · 18/01/2016 10:26

fruit It's been 26-30c highs the entire time he's been there, water in the pool is about 20c judging by hubby's comment of "feels like Parliament Hill Lido in August". He's quite sensitive to cold water and has had no problem going for a dip. He got a pretty good deal anyway - the return flights were only around 100 quid when he booked them and they picked a relatively nice hotel later on. Would love a bit of winter sun myself, but 31 weeks felt like too far along to fly four and a bit hours away.

Had a shite night's sleep last night and a driving lesson this morning where my nerves were shot to fuck. I just want to go home and go back to bed, not braining good at all at work.

pretzelpieces · 18/01/2016 10:58

Hope all is good gouda!

I've just looked at my notes from being monitored yesterday evening (got the all clear) and she's put 3/5ths engaged! Happy about that although I know they can be engaged for ages in first time mums. Ten days to induction. Potential sweep on Wednesday.

First lady from my nct class has popped! Suspect slight horror story as she doesn't want to say what happened till we've had our babies! Unplanned c section in the early hours of this morning. Both doing well Smile

Nice to hear about good baby showers viroids! Glad you are all getting spoilt.

feathered I've been worried about weight as well, but the midwives aren't worried and have barely weighed me so it must be fine. Going to check out that link someone posted... 5hell? Thanks.
