Hi Girls,

Back from Geordieland!

Glad to hear you're having a fab time with your DH LG&T. Assume the ball was fabulous too and the champers flowed.

MKG - Got the nose bleeds too, but only intermitently. Thank Goodness.

Bethnalhembub - my 20wk scan is on the 16th too. Is your's at the Royal too?? Mine is 9am.

Got my mw appt today. Hoping she listens to heartbeat. Am getting anxious as little weight gain and it's too early for me to feel movement as this is my first, so convinced all is not well - pure pg-panic mode.

Pebble - sorry your DH is being a bit of a tw*t. Sounds like he needs to grow up a bit and make some grown up choices. He needs to put you and the kids first and give his mum a good talking too. She's only bluffing with the ultimatum. If he tells her how it's going to be she won't risk loosing him. MIL's - ARRRGGGHHH

Hi Ladies trying desperately to catch up as have been full of cold since DD decided to give DH and I an early pressie last week.

JT2NSWS I think the cost of childcare for three under 3 may be a little prohibitive to me returning to work although one of DDs nursery nurses has asked me for a job as a nanny ? may have to consider this option even I do become a SAHM as it all looks a little bit overwhelming at the mo. I had decided to go part time after Christmas anyway and just got it okayed by the boss when BFP appeared so decided to perservere FT to get as much maternity pay and hols as possible.

12DOC cheers, I had the amnio this morning and it wasn?t half as bad as I thought and the needle didn?t seem as big close up. Should get the results Wednesday pm. The wiorst tghing is trying not to clench my belly when I sneeze as full of cold. DH being an absolute star, he let me stop in bed all afternoon, bought me chocs and a magazine and is now cooking me tea. Loving the dress also.

PMUK I heard one heartbeat at the MW but apparantly this is not unusual as even if they hear two you don?t know if it is the same one again! I think that is lovely of your DH bless him.

LDK it was one of my wishes before it happened! I think when I am not worrying it will be great just a bit daunting if you think too much so I shall progress in my fog of pregnancy until reality hits next May.

Jess sorry, not caught up with the questionnaire yet ? must try harde will be indelibly stamped on my report card.

PJJTTW Ooh so jealous of you seeing George, never got round to sorting out tickets so had all gone by time I thought about it. DOH

MAP DD missed out on seeing Santa at nursery but last week the local charity do a drive round with a sleigh and Santa and she thought it was wonderful. Glad your DH is getting his act together re Christmas day.

LIS Congratulations you clever thing and good news re the mortgage. PS ther will soon be 5 of us to help with painting although think we offer the kind of help you can manage without! Sorry no use on the babyclothes but get some good bargains at NCT sales.

MKG I was sure DD was a boy oops! My womanly intuition was having an off 9 months then. Don?t you just love this hands in the nappy phase.

SKY congratulations on your blue baby! (which may turn out pink anyway )

BB still got an inny but getting closer to popping out by the day.

RRBK I?m with you on not wanting to know but desperate to peek at the same time, I know I will be gutted if I find out though. You can imagin what I am like at Christmas, I have to feel all the pressies and guess but hope I get it wrong! Hope you don?t have the CTS, fingers crossed.

BB on of mines hearbeat was around 150 mine is at my naval as well but not sure if it different with 2 in there and I am 16+5.

LVB&T I am also now out of bed but probably for different reasons to you Good luck with the scan tomorrow.

JB hopefully it is just a 24 hour sicky thing and you will feel all blooming shortly, don?t forget to look after yourself.

KB Have a good time and good luck with the scan.

Okay have to log out as DH is very concerned I have been sat in this uncomfy chair for too long so as a reminder to myself I am now at the message from LIS on Fri @ 16:15:55 and will have to catch up with the rest of your news tomorrow. Bless him he has been lovely today after the amnio and really looking after me. I shall have to tell him how wonderful I think he is. He is mashing a cuppa in the kitchen and sounding stern now about chairs and resting and lying down. Best go as don?t want to upset this balance of him being so sweet.

HI everyone i have tried to read all the posts, honestly. but there were so many ive already forgotten what most said

I do remember we have another poor newbie (does she know what she's let herself in for)

Welcome Lucy!!

Im measuring myself tonight in preparation for TPT as i keep forgetting otherwise, Drum role rat tat tat... I am now > 10 sheets wow ive grown 1/2 a sheet again. I thought i would be bigger than that, i seem to be massive. I went to ds1's christmas fair last week and saw a friend who couldnt believe i was only 17wks, her 3rd is due next month and she only looks a bit bigger than me. And all weekend Dh has been singing 'Who ate all the pies' whenever i go near him

Im very of you lot feeling kicks. I thought i would have by now as this is my 3rd baby but im still only getting flutterings, ive even tried poking it to get a response but to no avail. I really cant wait for my scan. It was at a 20wks scan that i discovered id miscarried my first (before ds1) so im getting more and more nervous now, not feeling kicks doesnt help either i seem to spend all day trying to feel the baby move and if i dont i think the worst. Bloody hormones are making me paranoid Its times like this i wish i had a doppler

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 18/12/2006 23:00

Hey everyone!! I also am jealous of people feeling movements. Sometimes I think I feel it, but then I fart, and I know it was just gas.

TwinkleTwinkleLupinsXmasLights · 19/12/2006 07:53

Pebble I had to get a doppler or would have gone insane, altho the other day couldnt find h/b was tucked deep in pelvis in the end

LVGT good luck with scan today

Hope ev1 is ok, have a lovely day

largevirginbirthandtonic · 19/12/2006 10:48
