Gx91 I'm tired, yet I slept really well.

I'm struggling to be motivated at work at the moment. I'm self employed and I'm not super busy yet as I've only been there for 3 months. I'm feeling constantly nauseous. I've only been sick twice but I have that constant sick, dizzy, going to faint if I don't sit feeling. I don't want to go in today as I feel so rough but I have to. I hope the hair salon owner downstairs doesn't ask me to come down and sell myself. I cringe at this anyway as I hate pushing treatments on people but how I'm feeling I'm scared I'll hit the deck.

Just caught up on yesterday's chat. So sorry for everyone's losses. You will get through this. Keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of us for uneventful 8 months. Gutted I missed the group hug last night!! I'm not as chatty on here as some of you but I do really feel like I'm making some lovely new friends.
I'm definitely feeling the morning sickness today, wish I could just curl up in my bed! How is everyone this morning?

SoniaShoe · 25/11/2015 08:19

Morning all.

A late one to the group hug from last night too!

I feel so sick this morning again. Its pretty full on at the moment. I have a long commute and an early start in the dark which is tough when I feel sick. I've got to a long 3 week wait before any appointments now so I'm just going to concentrate on getting ready for Christmas to take my mind off it. First Christmas in our new house and first Christmas dinner I've done for years so looking forward to it.

Morning all. I've woken up feeling awful, cramps seem to have moved up a notch, though I'm hoping its down to not pooping properly, and feeling so sick. Think I'm going to tell my boss today, as going to be late in since it took me until now to be able to get out of my bed! I slept so soundly, I got up for the loo thinking it was 3 am, and it was 7!!!

Sunny , hope u manage to keep ur sickness at bay! Do u have a job to go to this morning ? X
Sonia - there a lot of sick women on this thread this morning , travelling and starting work in darkness is tough b careful u don't fall asleep on the way into work X
I'm waiting a while for appointments too so was keeping myself too busy going to have to take it a little bit easier ! X

Hi all - everyone is on thread no 3..

Cheery1 · 25/11/2015 08:36

Poor sick ladies. My friend Isabel recommended ginger - anything with ginger. She was so sick she resorted to eating crystallised ginger from the jar.

Gx91 - I'm self employed too and it's really difficult to motivate yourself. There's just too much going on in my brain to be fully focused on work. Hope today is ok if you do go to work.

Lily - I've found cramps are worse if I need the loo, and being constipated seems to be another side effect of pregnancy. I guess there's so much going on in that area…..Midwife said paracetamol is fine (not too regularly) but if the cramps are keeping you awake. Hope you feel a bit better today. I find it come in waves and a bit of a sit down helps!

xx

What's the next thread called ? Think I must have missed the link ? X

BelOfTheBall79 · 25/11/2015 08:56

Gx91 it's July 2016 (3), sorry no idea how to post a link on iPad, but think someone did post it further down the thread. See you all over there x

Gx91 · 25/11/2015 09:14

I can't seem to find it Sad lol x

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 25/11/2015 09:19

Gx91. Luckily as I'm my own boss I can sit in my nice comfy IKEA chair upstairs when I don't have clients. I try to sit for any treatments I can as well to save my back.

I've no idea what I'll do with my business when I go in maternity leave.

Just saw there's a new thread so I'll try to find it and come over.

New thread is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2515596-July-2016-3

Is it really difficult to find threads on your phones? I'm on a laptop and all you have to do is click on Pregnancy, select Talk: Antenatal clubs, and then you get a full list of active threads!

Ah... I must be pregnant... All the creepy food cravings are coming out of the woodworks... Ham hock? Taramasalata on toast?!
Someone mentioned Dr. Karg's pumpkin seed and cheese crackers- these things are AMAZING. Especially if you put some hummus on them... I've been feeling sick for about a week now, but it generally goes away once I eat (although I have to force myself to eat as the sickness makes me not want to eat Hmm ).
I've got a private scan booked for the 11th but it seems an age away! And I should probably book my midwife appointment... You ladies have shamed me into doing it.

Really really sorry for everyone who has suffered a loss recently. Thinking of you all and hope you're able to put your feet up and are being looked after Flowers
