started a new thread as the old one was getting full up. Thought I would post the link to stats here too so people can update if they want!

Indomitable I had the teensiest bit of spotting at 13+2. It was a one off and I haven't had anything else, so haven't followed up with the doc or midwife but may mention it at my 16 week appointment next week. I'm sure all is fine with you.

I am going to a formal work event on Friday night, the dress code is cocktail dresses. I have about 10 in my wardrobe and thought I'd be fine because I still fit into my jeans etc ... oh no no no. Forgot how much the boobs have grown, and I seem to have generally expanded round the back area - I tried on about 5 and couldn't do any of them up! Finally found one that's suitable and that I can do up and DH assures me I don't look too fat in it. It is tight round the boobs but I can put up with that for one night! That little try on session has really brought home to me how huge I am already Blush

dobbythedoggy · 16/09/2015 22:32

Will have a look at those too battle. Although now realised we didn't have a easy fold stroler type thing until she was almost 9 months so may well wait and see how we get on again this time. And let my mum indulge in buying something she's happy with to keep in her car boot.

Just seen a new bus time table kicks in on monday, takes us just under 75 mins to get out to ils place on the town service buses at the moment. New time table means it's going to take an 2 hrs 15 mins, including walking two bits we'd usually bus, if were lucky and 3 or 4 changes to get from our side of town, through town and to the out of town development ils live at. Even with dd in tow I think it would be quicker for us to walk! Looking forward to feeling well enough to walk to town and back again as it looks like the buses to our part of town are every 2-3 hours rather than the 5 very busy buses that normally pass through in an hour. Think the tank sitting will be coming into it's own again, just as shame dd too big for me to comfortably push in any push in any pushchair at the moment.

If there's any brain bleech going spare, I need to perminantly erase Mr Tumble from my brain! I think I may have been scared for life by that recurring dream.

BeautifulLiar · 17/09/2015 06:31

I wasn't even pregnant when I dreamt about shagging Mr Tumble!! Blush

Indomitable how's it going?

Me - I've got to go to a christening on the 27th, no idea what will fit by then!

IndomitabIe · 17/09/2015 06:45

Morning. Nothing dramatic so far. Only one overnight wee, and 300ml drank. Reckon the uti was probably it, I had more wees than I can count Tuesday night and drank nearly a whole litre overnight.

They took my wee sample at the scan but didn't test it in front of me or say anything. Hmm

IndomitabIe · 17/09/2015 06:47

Wish I could actually feel it in there. Some times I think I can, but it's way to early to know.

BeautifulLiar · 17/09/2015 06:51

That sounds promising, Indom. It's so weird not feeling anything isn't it? This is my fourth, I'm 15 weeks, but nothing. I'm blaming the placenta... please keep us posted and don't do too much today xx

Battleshiphips2 · 17/09/2015 07:20

Indom how many weeks are you. I'm 15 and can feel movement. It makes me giggle. It's not all the time just occasionally. It's definitely not wind. I felt my first baby around 16 weeks. It does sounds like a UTI. Sometimes they clear up by themselves but if not definitely see your gp. Or if you are concerned speak to your midwife. I never worry so much as when I'm pregnant!

IndomitabIe · 17/09/2015 07:23

Got some brown now.

And gone very hot.

DH had just gone to work, I need to take DS and go to work myself.

IndomitabIe · 17/09/2015 07:24

13+1 today.

Me624 · 17/09/2015 07:56

Indomitable brown is better as it means it's old. Keep an eye but I'm sure all is fine. You only have to look at the pregnancy boards to see how common some bleeding or spotting is!

BeautifulLiar · 17/09/2015 08:24

Yes brown is better.

I definitely would've thought I'd felt movements as what I've felt is exactly as it should be... however I've also felt it when not pregnant so I'm not convinced Confused

Trinpy · 17/09/2015 08:35

Indomitable the wee sample you brought with you to your scan (in a red topped bottle?) they would have sent off to be teste, which is why you didn't get the result straight away.

Could you ring your gp practice and say you're pregnant with a possible uti and ask if you can drop in a sample to be dip tested? The nurse can do that (and sometimes even the receptionist!) so there's a better chance of you getting treatment today if it is a uti .

MyNameIsSuz · 17/09/2015 09:02

I'd definitely get checked out indomitable, hopefully it is just an infection. And brown blood is definitely better than red. I had three full days of bleeding early on, around when my period was due, which is apparently quite common. If you're 13 weeks, would that match up with where your cycle would have been?

Rosieblossom123 · 17/09/2015 09:21

Indomitable at 9+5 weeks I was weeing way too much and had a tiny bit of brown spotting when wiping went to the gp and they said uti gave me some antibiotics but I refused to take them instead I drank loads of water and nearly two bottles of cranberry juice a day and when I went for my 12weeks scan and they tested me after and it was all gone. I'd give your gp a call if you're worried and let them test you again!

marmitemofo · 17/09/2015 10:10

morning all, back in work today Sad so obviously procrastinating and catching up on all the posts here!

hope you're ok indomitable - as others have said brown blood is a better sign, and it's likely your UTI. FX you get some answers soon so you don't have to stress and worry for too long.

dobby I'm really horrified by your mr tumble dreams! I'm not surprised you feel disturbed! I've had quite a few dreams since getting my BFP but only one sexual one I think, mostly they are random crap.

ffaux I have a DD and I love it. I'm really not girly at all and tbh I just buy her boys clothes Blush. I do occasionally buy girls clothes but sometimes I just stare at rows and rows of pink/glitter/fairy etc in the shop and can't bring myself to buy anything so girly! I went to GAP at the weekend and bought DD a new hoody, it really bugged me as combinations for girls were turquoise/pink, grey/glittery purple etc, there was nothing that didn't have some pink on it. So went to the boys section and showed DD some nice bright coloured ones (blue/red/green/yellow) and asked her which she wanted. She picked out the blue one! Also bought her new shoes at the weekend and asked what she wanted - she chose red over black and pink which I preferred. I do try and ask her what she wants, but I'll be honest and say I often present more boys clothes in the mix haha. Anyway, I really love having a girl. She's very chatty and inquisitive, boisterous but not too boisterous!

Hope all is well with you indomitable

I have just been having a browse online and found a house in the small town where I grew up for an absolute bargain, I want it! (it's got very old lady decorating and a pink bathroom but that's fine)

Now to text dp and convince him we need to move!

BeautifulLiar · 17/09/2015 10:54

Ooh good luck Q! I LOVE moving house, used to do it every 1-2 years :)

QforCucumber · 17/09/2015 11:03

beautiful we only bought our first house about 19 months ago haha, but have both decided we want to be back around the vilages where we grew up and couldn't ever have afforded it but this one I've seen is about 50k below usual selling prices. As DP is an electrician and knows lots of tradey people we could do a lot of the work ourselves,
but as I've never bought before I have no idea what the process would be of us selling ours to put an offer in haha!
I'm getting more excited than I should - DP is probably going to just say no.

maybebabybee · 17/09/2015 11:13

indomitable hope you are ok, do get checked out. fx for you that all's well.

BeautifulLiar · 17/09/2015 11:31

We rent ours, but DH is training to be an electrician :) he already does pretty much everything while he's out on contracts, just needs to be qualified! I rang him at work once crying because I couldn't change a lightbulb Blush

marmitemofo · 17/09/2015 11:34

you love moving house Beautiful?! Shock can't imagine that. I hate it. We bought our current house 2 years ago and this is the longest I've ever lived in one house since I was 18 (so 12 years ago, when I moved out of my mum's house!). I changed houses several times at uni because of people graduating at different times, and then moved for work after uni (several times as me and DP got jobs in different places!). I absolutely hate moving - me and DP are extremely disorganised and have loads of stuff, so it takes us ages to unpack. I think it took us over a year to unpack all our boxes this time and even now there is stuff with no proper place.

after our slightly disastrous camping trip at the weekend, DP has now decided he wants us to get a campervan one day Hmm. We don't have space (no driveway, and permit parking in our area) and when I pointed that out to him he said 'well maybe when we move to a bigger house'. I was like hmmm yeah I don't want to be moving for at least another 5 years! Having said that, I have to admit I do love looking at houses on rightmove etc. It's just the actual process of moving house that I hate!

OP posts:
QforCucumber · 17/09/2015 11:40

I'm not a fan of moving, did similar to you marmite - have had about 6 addresses in 10 years haha, when we bought this we thought it was in a good school area, it's a family house and we thought would have been home for a long time.

Turns out we aren't in the catchment for any of the good schools and both of us are a bit homesick for the large village/small town life we grew up with - suburbs is nice but just too noisy for us haha.
We discussed a few days ago looking into it so I had a browse and found this bargainous one it's only 10 minutes form where we are now but it's lovely and a lush little market town that I just would love to be back in.

We shall see, moving while up duffed or with baby may be too much for us both.

Rosieblossom123 · 17/09/2015 11:58

We bought our house last March and no way I'm doing it anytime soon, we have three double bedrooms so definitely not moving. I hated the whole process with solicitors, I work in an estate agent and my dp left me to do all the talking with them which was an absolute pain :(

BeautifulLiar · 17/09/2015 12:05

We've always rented so it's pretty painless. I find it so exciting, I love decluttering and packing the old house, but the best bit is unpacking at the new house. I'm kinda sad we love this house so much and won't be moving!

Battleshiphips2 · 17/09/2015 12:22

I've moved about 4 times in the past 10 years. We love where we are now but if the baby is a girl we will have to move. Don't really want to move though. We moved last time I was pregnant and it wasn't too bad. Although we were moving from an attic apartment to a house so I was just glad I didn't have to climb up 4 flights of stairs every day!
