Is there a Due in August 2007 Thread?

I have finally got that positive after 6 years of TTC. I checked on a site that calculates due dates for IVF cycles and it gave me the due date of August 3rd. Is there not a thread created yet for August 2007?

Hi Congratulations and Good Luck all round! I took a test this evening and I'm due 13th August! Trying not to get overexcited because I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks in October but I'm likewise determined to not be freaked out throughout either. I have a 3.5yold Ds and I'll be 40 next July so I'm guessing I could end up one of the eldest mums in the August club. Best of Luck everyone!

Loulee · 05/12/2006 22:19

Yeah, congratulations + hello to all.
babymad - a bit shocked at 248 days ro whatever it was! - I keep trying to think it's not so long if I think no3 will be born at the end of July. It will be a cs you see, so 37 weeks. (didn't think about this when I joined "due in august!". I really don't like being pregnant (probably to do with dd1 (ms for 5 months)and dd2 (ms for 7 months) - and also a bit apprehensive at the moment cos it's still quite early on.

No ms yet though but just waiting for it to kick in....

Treacletart, maybe the eldest so far, but I'm not far behind! (will be 38 early next year..)

gardeninggirl · 05/12/2006 22:21

WoW Feedmenow!!! I love it - a chocolate fountain mmmmnnnn
I definately am nowhere near 18 in either age or BMI! Babymad you sound pretty fit! I have a bit more 'insultation' than I would like at the moment
Welcome to Treacletart and Pecka!
Congratulations girls!
Paula - might be worth going to see your GP some will organise an earlier scan than 12 weeks,(in the USA we would all get an 8 week scan too) - I think it depends on the GP tho'. Good luck and fingers crossed for us all - its such an uncertain time isn't it?

BabymadwithBump · 06/12/2006 08:45

Morning all PG Ladies!
Nice to see some new Pg ladies, congratulations to all.
5weeks tomorrow, each day is a blessing for me even if I do have another 240+ days to go, I have a ticker that tells me how many days left to go everytime I log in . MS not looking forward to it, as I ended up in Hospital 4 times in total with DS#2 ( I was Only 7 and half stone with DS#2 even at 5 and half months PG due to MS so how on earth I ended up with a 8lb 14oz baby I do not know) and I had MS for 5 months with DS#1. I'm not fit, I have a big bum and big thighs I'm just little as I'm only 5 foot 2 and about 8 stone. Check back in later! Bye-Bye For now!

NbgSparklyYellowFeathers · 06/12/2006 08:51

Awwww congratulations ladies.
Another one here from Aug 2006!
Really shocking that this time last year I was finding out I was pg!!!!

Wishing you all happy healthy pregnancies.

conkertree · 06/12/2006 09:08

morning everyone. DH phoned midwives for me and they gave me an appointment for next thursday cause none over christmas time. it will only be 1 day into the 8th week so it seems a bit early to me. DH is going to see if there is anything in the first two weeks in january instead. has anyone got experience from previous pgs about when is a good time to go?

i just think that if its only about 2cm in week 8 and 6cm in week 12 it will make quite a difference to the point of a scan but maybe not.

had some pains yesterday but trying very hard not to panic over every little thing. read about pains due to ligaments stretching in one of the books. i never thought i'd be a panicker but it was strange how worried i got at work when it was sore. i just sat quietly for about 10 mins and it got better.

purplerabbit and i were going to have a chocolate fountain with fruit on saturday night with our dhs. but by the time we'd eaten the main course, we both fell asleep on the sofas. Lesson to be learned - just miss out the main course next time.

BabymadwithBump · 06/12/2006 10:59

Just phoned my Doctors and they said that I should make the appointment to see the MW when I'm in my 10th week! And then Gave me the MW appiontment books phone number, I'll be 10 weeks 12/01/07 so I'll make the appiontment for that week!

paulaplumpbottom · 06/12/2006 11:06

Are you American to Gardeninggirl?

Treacletart we have the same due date!

Loulee · 06/12/2006 11:31

OK, now I'm switched on to this chocolate fountain and fruit idea - pudding tonight I think - perhaps pregnancy has it's upsides!
Re: gp's - I wasn't going to go along til the new year. My experience is i go in, tell them I'm pregnant, they say 'congratulations' and book me an appointment for 12 weeks with the midwives. I'm in scotland and unless there's anything untoward, this is the only scan you get.
Right, must dash to pick up dd1 from nursery - have a good day everybody!

BabymadwithBump · 06/12/2006 11:39

You get a 12 week scan (which your MW will need time to book) and a 20 weeks scan, You may get a 36 weeks scan if you MW think you need another scan to check something she may feel need checking like babys weight, to low, to high, HB and so on!

feedmechristmaspuddingnow · 06/12/2006 11:55

Morning everyone!
Pecka - whats with the name?? First Purple rabbit, now Pecka....everytime I log on I'm just going to be thinking smut of one kind or another!
Babymad - I'm even littlier than you in height but I haven't weighed 8 stone for about 4 years now! I remember at the time thinking that I was overweight but when I see pictures of how I looked then I long to be that "overweight" again! I'm not happy that I already seem to be changing in shape. I'm not eating more, if anything I'm probably eating less, but already my jeans are feeling tighter. And I'd forgotten about that horrible stage when I'll be too big for normal clothers but way too small for maternity ones.....

BabymadwithBump · 06/12/2006 12:05

I remember with my last two PG's I brought clothes size 14, then 16, and I think I even brought a coat that was size 18 when I got to that stage, as M-clothes are so expensive!

paulaplumpbottom · 06/12/2006 12:40

I'm with you FeedMeChristmasPudding I remeber thinking My size 10 was huge now at 14/16 I long for those days

conkertree · 06/12/2006 14:01

oh well - was told today that scan has to be next week cause they are fully booked for the next four weeks and that would then be just past 12 weeks so she told me next week would be the best idea.

guess there is no choice. but all going well, will be great to have a picture so early.

i feel like i'm putting weight on too - but it could be to do with too much sitting on the sofa cause i'm so exhausted when i get home from work - sorry to all those with children already - i know i won't be nearly as exhausted as you with children and first timester tiredness to cope with.

paulaplumpbottom · 06/12/2006 15:31

Its to prepare you for not ever getting any sleep once the bundle of joy arrives. Sleep while you can Conker!

BabymadwithBump · 06/12/2006 15:54

My Boobs have been throbbing today not nice! tiredness wearing me down, sick of our dog talk about stress she so naughty, don't feel like eating any more, but that's about it really, oh and DH really doing my head in, he stress's me out more then anything I feel like he really doesn't care at the moment

Loulee · 06/12/2006 16:13

Poor you, babymad - I've been feeling a bit like that too today (minus dog and throbbing boobs). Am still bf. dd2 who is still up during the night and wondering how on earth I'm going to stop...

and conker tree, I think it'll be great to have a scan next week. I'm jealous! As i was saying before, we only have one, unless there's any hiccups so i guess mine will be end of Jan/begin of Feb.

re: tiredness - I'm sure it's all relative - kids do make you tired (and I do wonder what I used to do with all my "spare!" time before them) but was exactly the same as you first time - generally exhausted. So - nothings changed really!

BabymadwithBump · 06/12/2006 17:04

My Dog, she is so naughty, in and out all the time, mopping and cleaning up after her every 5 mins, getting me to run round the garden after her, when I want her to come in, as she had been crying to come in, mud every were, just really stressing me out. Oh did I mention her knocking me flying and I landed on my bum outside 2 nights ago as I was coming in from outside and the dog tuck my legs from under me, DH thought it was funny when I told him, I didn't I was worried all night as I was getting stinging pain in my tummy I felt sick with worried. DH doesn't help with everything, cooking, Dog, kids, nothing! And DH got me doing heavy lifting the other day, he didn't have a care in the world, soz for going on feel so down at the moment, just feel like sitting here and just crying! Right off to do tea for the king, for when he comes home from work!

paulaplumpbottom · 06/12/2006 17:43

You know sweetie, sometimes its ok to let the housework go and get take out. He should be taking better care of you. Hugs from Me.

gardeninggirl · 06/12/2006 19:03

Hi Paula - no not an American I live in SE London - but cos DH and I have been trying for 14 months for our 1st I am a member of a (mostly) American fertility site. All the USA girls routinely get an 8 week scan. Apparently its cos once you see the heart beat your chance of a m/c drops considerably. It picks up the 'missed m/c' which some women get told they have had, when they go for a 12 week scan here without having an 8 week one.
I am seriously thinking of booking a private scan - tho still in two minds - I was up not sleeping cos I was so anxious last night. I think it is cos DH and I are not young - I am 36 soon and DH 40 in a few months. You know what I mean - anxious times - but guess the next 18 + yrs will be anxious!!
Oh Babymad - so sorry you are so tired and putting all the work in Please try to get him to at least do that lifting for you hon.
We are always here if you need somewhere to let off steam.
Even though it is only 6 weeks for me I have had to buy a new bra today - I could not bear it - I could not sleep they are so sore! Also I feel so fat! Like you Paula I am starting off at 14/16 so god knows what I might look like further on!

paulaplumpbottom · 06/12/2006 20:06

A friend of mine who was also a little overweight like I am said her GP put her on a special diet when she was pregnant. Do you think they'll do that to us?

ChristmasMadwithBump · 07/12/2006 10:26

Morning PG Ladies!
Changed my name, as everyone seems to be going xmassy! LOL!
I'm five weeks today feeling the MS slowly but surely! Boobs were really really hurting me last night! I'm calling bump, Bo-bo at the moment due to being an embryo, then when the bump is a fetus I will say Fe-fe, DH thinks its silly, but I dont it's something that make me smile!
It would nice for DH to help now and again but he doesn't, the last time he cooked was back in January and that was only stuff he stuck in the deep fat fryer and that wasn't even for me he cooked for him self and the children. Never ever gets up in the morning with the children even though he get's up for work only 30 mins later but hay! The heavy lifting the other day, was down to him getting me to do it, asking me to help him with this and that, pass him this, lift him that, just because he couldn't be bothered to come down from the loft! Not a care in the world that I'm PG and worried sick about MC! He blame me for the trouble with the dog and if she is naughty he just laughs even though I'm at the point of crying! Don't mind me just emotional, hormonal, down and feed up! Hope every one is feeling alot better than I am!

paulaplumpbottom · 07/12/2006 10:49

Mornin yall!!!!!!!!

I am feeling really sick this morning, unfortunatly with a 3yr old you just have to get on with it. I'm also feeling exhausted despite haveing a full night sleep last night. I hope my entire first trimester isn't like this. How are the rest of yall feeling?

ChristmasMadwithBump · 07/12/2006 11:02

My 2 DS (4yrs and 7yrs) were late for school this morning, I slept past my alarm as I was so tired but I went to bed at 10:30 and had a good nights sleep too, I really couldn't face doing DH and my 2 DS "pack lunches" this morning but I did it, felt abit sick but still it got done. Boobs are big, getting firms and throbbing which hurts. It's feeling hormonal that's getting to me more than anything!

paulaplumpbottom · 07/12/2006 11:08

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time sweetie.
