Is there a Due in August 2007 Thread?

I have finally got that positive after 6 years of TTC. I checked on a site that calculates due dates for IVF cycles and it gave me the due date of August 3rd. Is there not a thread created yet for August 2007?

I'm feeling sleepy all the time, and cant stop eating or thinking about food, only a few weeks and I really feel like this, I really don't mind at all, I just cant remember feeling this sleepy or hungry, with my 2 DS's! Does any one else feel like this?

Juicylucythe2nd · 29/11/2006 15:16

sorry - morning sickness. There's still lots of time for it to start!

londonlou · 29/11/2006 22:12

Hi all!

I sucumbed and bought a copy of the Gentle Birth Method by Gowri Motha today. After all these years of the high tech solution to get pregnant, I'm going back to my hippy roots. It looks like a good book if you're into the less intervention end of things. Anyone else aiming for this route? I know it might all go pear shaped yet and even if I get past the 12 weeks it might all end up in stirrups again. But you can't blame a girl for trying.

Hope you all ok.

Lou

hi everyone - am joining you if thats ok. was on the november conception thread and got a bfp on sunday and again yesterday.

going by the rough estimates based on 28 day cycles i'd be due on 1st August but think that will change as i usually have longer cycles.

Am feeling really exhausted too babymad - was meant to go to a works thing tonight but thing i will have to find an excuse. just want to go and lie on the sofa and snooze.

looking forward to getting to know people - how may of you are first timers?

BabymadwithBump · 30/11/2006 13:57

Hi conkertree Congratulations and welcome! when you due?

conkertree · 30/11/2006 14:00

around the 1st going by the charts you get in books but i'd guess a bit later than that cause i usually have longer cycles than 28 days - just going to go and book a doctors appointment just now. any ms for you yet?

BabymadwithBump · 30/11/2006 14:04

no symptoms yet just hungry and drinking lots of water, tingling boobs today, and wanting to sleep all the times, apart from that, no real symptoms! You?
I'm due 09/08/07!

BabymadwithBump · 30/11/2006 14:07

What was your first day of you last AF? if you dont mind me asking!

conkertree · 30/11/2006 16:37

dont mind at all - it was 25th October. what about you? 1st August is very much an estimate cause these tables all seem to just be based on a blanket 28 day cycle

conkertree · 30/11/2006 16:40

I'm the same with the tiredness - is really strange cause i never usually get this tired, even if i'm really busy.

but apart from that nothing else yet. i hear that ms doesn't really kick in till maybe week 7 or so though, so I'm slightly nervous about what might be to come.

BabymadwithBump · 30/11/2006 17:26

We'll be fine, we'll get though it, dont worry!

Hi Girls!
Hope you are all feeling well - and welcome to Conkertree
My EDD is the same as yours: 1st of august

Went to GP two days ago - as this will (fingers crossed) be my first I was clueless what to do.
Have to admit hate my GP practice - as usual saw another different doctor - always seem to see the locum or temp person
Quite suprised they did not even bother to retest my urine let alone a blood test. Maybe I have been reading too many american websites!
I didn't realise I was supposed to know what sort of care I want or where I want to book - of course I have no idea! Neither did she about the local hospitals as she was a locum!!
So going to have to do some investigating. I think keeping as far away from my GPs care as possible - i actually have a 'named' GP - but I have never met him despite being registered there for 6 yrs.
Anyhow sorry for the winge! I do work for the NHS and think the emergency care is brill - just not sure about the other stuff
When will you find out how many have implanted Lou? That will be an exciting time!

mummymelling · 30/11/2006 19:09

sorry to crash your thread, just got to say BABYMAD4NUMBER3 !!!! CONGRATULATIONS HURRAH!!!!!! well done my old cycle buddy im so thrilled for you xxxxxxxxxx

BabymadwithBump · 30/11/2006 19:37

MummyM yippee finally you know, I've been waiting and waiting for you to know been checking every five mins to see if you know yet! How are you!? Always thinking about you and how your getting on not been the same without you. Yes finally got my very own BFP!!!!!! Really really happy! Do you like the name?

londonlou · 01/12/2006 08:43

Conkertree - welcome!

gardeninggirl - I've got a 7.5 week scan on the 20th Dec so I'll know then how many there are! I've started the research on my care. I'm a bit of a research freak, so don't get scared! I just like to explore all possibilities. Never one to be told what to do by my GP! I managed to get pregnant thanks to the friends I made online recommending good drs.

How we all doing ladies? I had a wobble yesterday where I was convinced I'll go to the scan and there won't be anything in the sac. Must try to be more positive.

Afternoon Ladies! 4 weeks
I don't know when I should see a midwife, last time with DS#2 I went to see a midwife at about 8-9 weeks and she told me it was to soon and booked a later date cant remember when though! When do I go? I just don't want to bother anyone too soon! Feeling really tried now fall to sleep at a drop of a hat, eating all the time, boobs keep tingling, But not bothered bring it on that's what I say! LOL I must be mad!
Babymadxxx

conkertree · 01/12/2006 13:58

that has reminded me to go and book a GPs appointment - thanks babymad - i meant to do it yesterday and then work went crazy so forgot. not sure about midwives though - i am just going to see what the GP says.

conkertree · 01/12/2006 16:54

hmm tried to book one but there are no appointments in the next week and they can't give me one for the week after cause its getting close to the holidays? so basically i can't book a doctors appointment at all - i have to phone every morning at 8.30 to see about cancellations, but given that there are no appointments, i imagine everyone will be doing that. not really sure what to do about that.

Bodkin · 01/12/2006 16:59

Hey congrats ConkerTree - just saw your name as I was looking down the list of threads! Must have been very lonely for you on Positive in November those last few days - worth waiting for though eh?!

conkertree · 01/12/2006 17:07

definately - and people popped back from the december thread to say hi which was very nice. felt a wee bit guilty about how quickly it happened since we had only just started trying, and i know how hard it has been for some people not getting bfps every month - but everyone has been so lovely.

feedmenow · 02/12/2006 10:10

Morning all! I've come to join you all too. Got my bfp yesterday......if I go on a 28 day cycle then due 09/08/06....same as you Babymad!! I remember you from TTC Sepy & Oct, then I went AWOL for a while
Does anyone else feel ridiculously nervous? This is No. 3 for me but the other 2 were pretty much unplanned, so now I've planned for this I feel really paranoid that it will all go wrong

BabymadwithBump · 02/12/2006 12:51

Afternoon Ladies!
4 Weeks and 2 days ! Feeling tired, hungry, drinking lots, boobs still tingling getting worse but don't care, feeling abit off !
Feedmenow wow well done chick! Yes due same as me 09/08/07 bump buddies LOL. Yes I feel very nervous too I don't even want sex a the moment just in case, IYSWIM! My 3rd too, my 2 DS were happy accidents !
Conkertree how are you today!

feedmenow · 02/12/2006 22:13

Aawww, its nice to have a bump buddy! I never had a cycle buddy so I didn't realise how nice it could be to know there is someone with you all the way! (Although not right at the start cos that would all be a bit TOO friendly )
So, does anyone have a realistic idea of when to see the gp? I don't think its worth it too soon as I know they can't/won't do anything, but do they not need to book 1st scan sooner rather than later? Can it wait til after Chrimbo, or is that leaving it a bit too much?

gardeninggirl · 02/12/2006 22:54

Welcome Feedmenow! Congratulations!
I went to my GP (its my first so I did not know when to go) they did not seem very interested. They said I need to get back to them over the next few weeks with which hosptial I want to go to, and then they can book me for my 12 week 'booking' visit and scan, and they needed a few weeks to do that. Not sure that helps much - but I don't think you need to rush to the surgery.

I feel the same about it being an anxious time - and def no sex at the moment!! Though I think DH is still feeling worn out from months and months of trying for our BFP.

Lou I really agree with you about the tickers - I miss them too. Anyhow If we had them mine would say I am 5 weeks 3 days at the moment. I'm starting to get some vague feelings of nausea through the day - and I swear my tummy is expanding too! Tho' that might be imagination.

Where did you have your fertility treatment - I'm guessing it was not at your local hospitals otherwise you would want to book with them? Hope the research into hospitals is going well! I think we are thinking more and more of St Thomas's.

Take care all
