Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

tea I'm thrilled for you. What a relief!

MrsTattoo · 04/08/2015 13:00

Great news tea Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 04/08/2015 13:01

Auf that was amazing! You're right, I've never heard of people having issues with Velcro and red marks. Will ask DSis how she gets round it. It's terribly silly of me, but I don't like the look of the poppers. Blush

Any experience if Charlie Bananas?

pretzelpieces · 04/08/2015 13:02

Yay tea I'm so pleased for you!

Argh, cross post!

Tea that's fantastic! Great news! Grin

CarrotPuff · 04/08/2015 13:04

Phew, great news Tea!

5hell I agree with others, give EPU a ring?

I had a bit of energy burst and weeded the side of the garden. Now feeling pretty sick. I probably need to eat something, but don't know what Confused

Lookingforadvice123 · 04/08/2015 13:06

Tea yey that's great news I'm really happy for you! There's SO many reasons why bleeding in pregnancy can happen, but I wish more people would talk about it! Just between me and one friend who's also pregnant, we've learnt it can be caused by:

Hormones/break through from the time of your period
Cervical erosion
Cervical polyp
Hematoma

They never found the cause of mine (it wasn't really red, mainly brown and no clots) so put it down to hormones!

Don't forget now that you've seen a heartbeat at 8 weeks your chance of a continuing pregnancy goes up to 98%! For an OCD like me the comforting stats are the best Smile

Also, mega impressed with your health board. When my bleeding happened in the night (a Wednesday night) I was told not to go to A&E, to go to my GP the next morning, where she told me I was most likely miscarrying but grudgingly booked me in for a scan at EPAU...the following Monday afternoon! So almost a week since the bleeding happened. Shit.

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 04/08/2015 13:29

I do so sincerely apologise for that long post non-interested people! I was on the computer and realise that on the phone it is incredibly tedious to read. Blush And that was a short version too! Blush
hands out cake to everyone who can eat, gingersnaps to those who can't
tea what fantastic news! Super pleased for you right now! It is so wonderful to have a good and pleasant doctor to help. Great that they ran your bloodwork so fast too! :) Flowers Now you can relax! I hope the bleeding was a once off as well.
honey as far as I know I think CBanana redesigned their nappies recently, and added some sort of elastic strap thingie to their nappies earlier this year and I have not idea what the new one is like? Sorry I can't be of help on that! I think the Nappy Lady may have some advice. There are usually a lot of reviews on there for products?
All this swampfoof talk makes me think of getting trenchfoot. Can you get trench-foof? Hmm

Niffertiti · 04/08/2015 13:32

Tea, wonderful news, so pleased for you!

Gx for totally and shell now.

Auf I bow down to your clothbum wisdom! That was an epic, Really useful! I think we will take a similar approach and buy one of lots of different kinds and see how we get on. The Naked Baby will mostly not be wearing clothes in the tropics so all these patterned covers are very exciting - stupidly I was so sad I was missing out on all those cute baby outfits!!

I mentioned to my mum on the phone last night I was planning on reusables. She got mega enthusiastic so I've convinced her to buy us our start-up kit! Hoorah! She used terries on us all - she had lots of photos of me at about 6 years rinsing poo off my youngest brother's terries apparently!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 04/08/2015 13:32

honey I just went to have a look, and yes apparently there is a new bra-stap system for stretching the elastic for changing the fit. Seems nice but I do wonder how long that will last. The thingie on the bra strap starts sliding after a little while and it would be irritating if it did something similar on the nappy? Of course, I'm just speculating! The new reviews seem positive although one person on the front page (didn't read any further) says it bites into the skin. :)

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 04/08/2015 13:37

niff yes the summers are fabulous for cloth nappies! Tropical weathers ahoy! Lol at the photographs of you rinsing nappies. That's what I call opportunistic parenting: Why do it yourself if you can get your kid to it! :) Great news your mum is so keen. Mine was like "WTF! No!" because she remembered all the work sterilising nappies in the 70s. Once she realised how simple it was nowadays she changed her mind but finds the poppers fiddly at her age so we usually give her disposables to make it easier for her when DC visits

mountaingirl01 · 04/08/2015 13:51

Yay tea! I'm so pleased for you :) also pleased you had a good experience in a&e -we're not all bad!
Really think you should complain to the private scan company.

jelly I freaked out and just bought some nappies lol

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 04/08/2015 13:58

lol @ mountain's impulse buying. Grin

ThursdayLast · 04/08/2015 14:00

Oh Tea how wonderful! I'm delighted for you.

MrsTattoo · 04/08/2015 14:04

It's 2pm on a weekday and I really want a glass bottle of red.Wine Can I blame this on my first ever pg craving? One I can't even indulge in! I'm thinking about a cheese board, chutneys and crackers sat next to the wine too. Blush

5hell · 04/08/2015 14:18

Qn: Is the EPU phone ever not engaged?! sigh

...I'm in an open plan office so have to keep popping off to somewhere quiet and then it's ALWAYS engaged!

tea you give me hope, congratulations!!!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 04/08/2015 14:42

Oh mrs. I sympathise. I'm of the a glass now and again won't hurt you school, but I do think it must be hard if you are abstaining completely! Flowers Can you not just have a nice non soft cheese board anyway? You've got me salivating now!
5hell can you phone them from your desk, and if they answer say "Please hold" and hum a crackly version of Michelle ma belle while you dash to a quiet corner? Grin

pretzelpieces · 04/08/2015 14:44

auf Grin

Just spent a fun twenty minutes on the phone juggling mental health midwife appointment with mental health social worker appointment. Everyone wants a piece of me! so popular Hmm

Oh wow that is fantastic news Tea, and I'm so glad you were well looked after, it makes such a difference in situations like this. So, so pleased for you. 5hell I hope you get through to the EPU soon.

Looking you are a little bit bonkers aren't you my dear?! Your amniotic fluid I'd not leaking you just have the delightful swamp foof which is a sign that everything is working as it should be and that your nether regions are looking after themselves. Smile Try to remember to breathe.....

Tattoo I had a craving for aubergine yesterday. Who the eff craves aubergine? It's not even that nice! I was so happy when I found the last one after scouring the supermarket for 25 minutes

20 week scan was lovely, Christmas Pud is all good and has fingers and toes and a nose and everything. Grin I will put a pic on FB later.

pretzelpieces · 04/08/2015 14:53

Yay pud! Excellent news. I'm looking forward to seeing little xmas pud.

OP posts:
MrsTattoo · 04/08/2015 15:02

Auf I am very tempted but don't think I would stop at one glass! From the moment I got my BFP I instantly quit fags, booze and all caffeine straight away so am hoping to stick to it - although decaff coffee sucks :(

pud I'm glad my craving is something tasty at least! Aubergine reminds me of a wet dirty sponge Confused I'm def going to the shop to stock up on cheese I'm allowed though Grin

Purpleball · 04/08/2015 15:02

Tea, I'm so chuffed for you.

Pud, hurray for baby bits Smile

5hell hope you get though soon, can you turn up there?

Lookingforadvice123 · 04/08/2015 15:06

pud I really am Grin! It actually helps to say my concerns out loud as in my head they feel so real, I actually like being told I'm being redic!

Lying in bed with DH last night I said "my latest fear is the umbilical cord coming out of my foof". I think he feels very blessed to have me as his wife.

CarrotPuff · 04/08/2015 15:13

On the cheese subject, been to Sainsbury's the other day, and they had this goat's cheese with rind. It said on a packet made with pasteurised milk, but then it also said should be avoided by expectant mothers - ??? I thought the whole point was it being pasteurised or not, not the rind?

...and while I was typing this DS scooped out the contents of his bowl onto the table...

ThursdayLast · 04/08/2015 15:21

I looked this up this very morning Carrot. I always thought that if it was made with pasteurised milk it was ok, but apparently soft cheeses are less acidic than hard ones and bacteria can grow in them again even after they are cheeses. Does that make sense?

Whatever the cheese though, if you eat it piping hot then go for your life Grin

I was searching Stilton coz we had burgers for lunch
