Second or subsequent babies due Jan/Feb/March 2016

Hiya - just thought an alternative place for those of us on our 2nd or more pregnancies might be a good idea. I just found out and already it's very different than the first time!

I'm on #2, EDD 25/3/16, one DS 2yrs and 2 months.

Ahh fraggle what an amazing labour story!!! Hope my labour is as quick as yours (or maybe not quite!). Glad all is going well for you. I'm not looking forward to the sleepless nights one bit, especially as dd is acting like a stroppy teenager at the moment!

Oh wow Fraggle that's a brilliant labour story. Can just picture you with the window down and the shoppers faces! So pleased you were ok and at least made it to the hospital to be checked over.

Wow Fraggle. Just wow. I have friends who had births as fast as yours who were recommended to have a home birth next time

I can only hope mine is as quick as yours (65 hours last time).

Thanks also folks for advice on travel. They've now pushed the date to 4 weeks before my due date but it could be a career defining moment for me. I'd be presenting to some of my heroes. DH is fine with me going but I'm going to ask my Dad as he is a retired GP and tends to be quite pragmatic.

Do these threads still run out at 1000 posts? If so we should probably start another one.

But all in all. It's all about how you feel.

If it's that important I think I'd go but pack a bag for the hospital just in case. Are you driving, and can you car-share, or getting the train?

If your brother's nearby (and presuming he doesn't work away) you'd have someone on hand to do some frantic calling around if necessary.

Has anyone had any side effects from their whooping cough vaccine? Had mine Wednesday and last night started to get a sore throat and today just feel like I'm getting ill again!! Wondering if they're related?! I don't want to be ill again!!!

I just had a really itchy arm and it was swollen.

Gah I somehow turned my sodding fridge off since Thursday night....wale up this morning and discover it. Have to go to work knowing it's going to be waiting for me when I get home!

I felt like someone had given me a dead-arm but nothing else. I do have another cold though. Perhaps you've been unlucky with the timing? Hope you're feeling better soon.

Just had a child-free weekend away with my dsis, probably the last one in a while! 'Twas lovely.

No luckily. But can't quite believe I was so stupid.
Can't wait for baby to arrive and maybe my brain will come back lol

I feel fine now! Only lasted a day of feeling like I had another cold coming and then went away so may have possibly been the injection. Apparently my iron levels are also getting lower so that probably isn't helping.

Oh Huffle I know what you mean!! I've been doing some really daft things too!

I hate to say it ladies, but I am showing no signs of losing the baby brain just yet... I feel like my days of thinking clearly are behind me!
Hope you're all well! Dp went back to work today so I had my first day with the babies alone, I somehow coped! Hope it's a sign of what's to come, and not just beginners luck!

I think my brain dissapeared along with my pelvic floor!

Just realised this year is a leap year! Wonder if any of us will have a 29th feb baby??!

I was meant to be born on the 29th Feb. My brother took great delight in telling me I should only get bday presents every 4 years.

Currently laid up with flu. Flu + 31 weeks pregnant is really no fun.

Unlikely I will my blood pressure has crept up. Deciding whether to check it again today and call in and let them know or leave it till tomorrow when I see the consultant.

I'M ALIVE!!!

Freaking hell thought I was dying for a few days but last night was the best sleep I've had in a week (sorry Fraggle!).

How is everyone else? 4 weeks is nothing Huffle. V jealous as I have 8 weeks and feel huge already.

I'm fine although I've started waddling which is a great look. Thankfully I can still put my shoes on and get off the couch!

4 wks Huffle eek! You must be getting very excited.

Think we are due the same week Sunny I have 8 wks left too. Although if this one like my ds he'll still be hanging around for a week or two after that.

I've washed some baby clothes and bought some nappies but haven't really done much else. Thinking about a double buggy as ds still uses his (it's 20 min walk into town).

How are you finding things fraggle ? Hope you are ok and managing to get a bit of rest!
