hacquoi my last labour was like that! MW was so unobtrusive, it was the consultant who came barrelling in demanding things, he got really cross when I wouldn't move so he could put a canula in my hand, (he was starting the csec prep due to BP) I was on my knees on the bed and at the point in labour moving was just beyond me, MW told him to stop complaining and drag the bed out as she wasn't going to make me move
and that if he made me sit down he wouldn't get the canula in anyway because I wouldn't be able to sit still due to the pain.
DH will be at all my appointments, whether they like it or not, he needs the reassurance. His sons birth was beyond traumatic: didn't realise he was breech till the last second, dragged her off for GA emcs, and left him in the corridor for an HOUR
with no update. Baby was in NICU with mild oxygen deprivation after being born blue
So they can shove that attitude, he needs to be with me.
