I have a swollen foof, piles and am farting like a trooper, I am so glamorous these days, I'm surprised dp can keep his hands off me Wink

SnozzberryPie · 30/08/2015 22:17

I'm also running out of clothes, I need to keep my legs covered due to the hideous varicose veins but I'm too hot in jeans. I am mostly wearing the one maxi dress I own. And my trusty old Thai fisherman's trousers which just about still do up!

mrsdiddlydoo · 31/08/2015 19:22

Hey ladies. Just can't shake the nausea here. My bump this time round is much bigger than with DS. Only comfy in maternity trousers but still wearing normal tops. Hoping to finish work at the end of November. Will leave it as late as I can but if I feel crap I'm not going to force myself to stay.

snozz glad its not only me with toxic farts!

mrsdiddlydoo · 31/08/2015 19:23

Or should I say excessive farts... They aren't all toxic!

pizzakat · 01/09/2015 12:01

Thanks everyone would love a link to FB group if that's ok!

I've been hiding away not really wanting to join in as I had a MMC last December and have been so frightened of history repeating itself, now I'm approaching 27 weeks (eeek where has the time gone?) im finally starting to relax and ENJOY being pregnant :)

RE: weight gain I've put on 3 stone already Shock but I was quite underweight before pregnancy... Joining the haven't seen my bits in a while club, sit down showers are my new thing although getting back up is starting to prove a tad difficult

pizzakat · 01/09/2015 12:06

Oops double post

Forgot to add I work as a waitress in a restaurant where we mainly serve steaks on ridiculously heavy skillet boards, got the worst cramp ever in my right bum cheek during my shift last night which was occasionally punctuated by a sharp shooting pain from my lower back to my thigh!

Seems to have eased this morning a bit so I haven't bothered getting in touch with midwife... Any one else had something similar?

SnozzberryPie · 01/09/2015 12:38

Pizzakat that sounds like it could be sciatica so probably worth seeing your midwife or a Dr.

Cheshirehello79 · 01/09/2015 20:58

I!ve gone off doing any sort of exercise as I feel shattered all the time and just gone lazy .... Is everyone still active and can recommend something easy I just feel like sleeping all the time. It doesn't help that the baby is moving all the time and that makes me a bit unforgivable at time and a bit sickly

Cheshirehello79 · 01/09/2015 21:00

Predictive text not unforgivable ... Meant to say uncomfortable

Metalhead · 01/09/2015 22:00

I'm still doing one session of Pilates a week cheshire, and try and go on my exercise bike 2-3 times a week for 20 minutes. I know how you feel though, I'm always tired too. Could you just go for a short walk when you're feeling really lazy? Bit of fresh air always seems to perk me up a bit if nothing else.

SnozzberryPie · 01/09/2015 22:07

I'm doing a pregnancy yoga class which is lovely, not too energetic but it seems to stretch my muscles out just enough and you learn special positions to help backache, indigestion and positions for labour.

Swimming is also good as it takes the weight off your feet

Metalhead · 02/09/2015 18:39

Urgh, anyone got any magic remedies for constipation? I'm drinking as much water as I can, eating lots of fibre, fruit & veg but it doesn't seem to be helping. And it's not doing anything for my piles either... Ouch Blush

SnozzberryPie · 02/09/2015 18:47

Are you taking any supplements containing iron? As they can bung you up. Otherwise not a lot you can do except eat lots of fruit.

Metalhead · 02/09/2015 19:18

I'm occasionally taking Floradix, but not regularly enough to make it an issue I think. Might have to ask the midwife if there's anything I can take to help things along!

SnozzberryPie · 02/09/2015 21:34

Floradix is meant to be OK. I find soft fruit help especially grapes and plums. Or a strong coffee!

chopsface · 03/09/2015 07:40

Hi guys!

pizza deffo sounds like sciatica. I got it a lot pre preg and I'm surprised I've not had it whilst preg! Although it might seem painful you've got to keep moving to ease it. Exercise is good too. I found if I missed a few weeks of yoga it came back!

Talking of exercise, unfortunately I've not been able to get to a yoga class. MN y regular teacher was going to adjust things for me and I paid for a block of classes, and then I was too bloody sick to attend any! I feel better now but he takes a break for the summer and now the next pre paid block takes me up to being too far along. Instead the only class I could find is Aquanatal, which I can do right up until I give birth practically! I've kept up my gym membership and was meant to go swimming but I'm too tired after work and can never seem to fit it in on weekends! Quite cross with myself for wasting all that money though. I've not cancelled it "just in case" I feel energetic all of a sudden!

Can't help with constipation sorry x

pizzakat · 03/09/2015 11:24

Thanks snozz & chops you were right definitely sciatica

been referred for some physio next week and gonna invest in a massive swimming cossie this week to see if going for a swim helps at all.

Would love to have went to an aquanatal class but unfortunately anything in my area I can find online seems to have stopped :(

nice to hear how many people are enjoying yoga though think I'll have a look into that... I'm finishing work on the 17th Oct so gonna need something to occupy my 6 weeks before baby

Metalhead · 07/09/2015 11:25

Happy Monday everyone, hope you've all had good weekends?! Smile It was my birthday on Saturday (36 - argh!) so I've been eating way too much chocolate cake the last couple of days... Probably not a good idea seeing as I'm still struggling with digestive issues, but hey ho.

27 weeks today, and according to one of my apps I'm now into the last trimester - hooray!

pizzakat · 08/09/2015 16:06

Ah Happy birthday metal Cake it was my birthday on Saturday too!

Also ate far too much cake, but I've been craving it all through my pregnancy (particular proper birthday cake with thick fondant icing mmmm) so nothing new there for me

chopsface · 08/09/2015 20:01

Awww happy birthday metal and pizza! Hope you had good days Cake I'm 36 next birthday too metal urgh. Poor dh said the other day he was worried about being an old dad bless him, he's 2 years older than me.

We are currently on hol in North Devon and can only get WiFi in the campsite clubhouse. Can you believe adult entertainment doesn't start til 8.15pm with bingo and cabaret not til 9.40! Yawn! Won the music quiz on Sunday, well chuffed with that Grin won a bottle of booze though lol!

Nothing else to report apart from feeling as big as a house all of a sudden!

WombOfOnesOwn · 09/09/2015 00:28

Metalhead: Try magnesium supplementation. It'll help you sleep a little better AND it's amazing constipation relief.

Metalhead · 09/09/2015 09:38

Thanks for the tip womb, I will look into that.

And happy birthday to you too pizza! Smile

I'm off to get my legs waxed this afternoon as its getting quite hard to bend down in the shower to shave them...

On a positive note, I finalised my maternity leave details this week, and as I only work 3 days a week I now have 22 days left at work!

mrsdiddlydoo · 09/09/2015 13:32

22 days! Wow metal Smile You've made me count mine now. Probably around 26 days... O m g!!

Belated happy birthday ladies.

I'm finding my nausea has increased again. Boo! Roll on December...

Cheshirehello79 · 11/09/2015 19:56
