Hi Celen!! That's fantastic - I'll make sure I keep an eye out for your new bus GrinGrinGrin. I can't believe I'd chosen a couple of days to socialise in the real world just when someone comes along and starts "lovely ditzzy"in all over the thread!!

I had been wondering a little while ago how you'd been, so it's lovely to hear your news Smile

Celen · 27/07/2015 06:36

Thank you, I'm pretty chuffed. 6 weeks today, just got the ole 3+ on the Clearblue and got a private scan booked on the 7 Aug. Feeling positive but not excited yet but hoping the scan will make it a bit more real!

ditzzy · 27/07/2015 07:56

Fingers crossed for the 7th then - coincidentally that's my final placenta position scan day too! You should get a pretty good pic by then; the magic of seeing my 7 week (that turned out to be nearly 8 week) tiny-bean-with-a-heartbeat scan is something that really will stay with me forever.

By the way, you were right - I caught very immediately after the cp. I organised a weekend away to cheer myself up for DPs birthday leaving on the day I'd been told to POAS to make sure it was negative... The scan dating actually puts it all the way to that very day! My lmp dates should have made it nearly a week later.

Celen · 27/07/2015 08:50

Is your placenta in the way then ditzzy? Mine was during my first pregnancy with ds but moved out of the way nicely. I ended up with an EMCS anyway but that's a whole other thread! Grin

ditzzy · 27/07/2015 09:55

Only slightly in the way now! It was completely covering at 20 weeks and partially at 32... They think it's unlikely to move far enough by the 36 week scan but at least has moved enough to remove the risk of being put on complete bedrest for the final month! That would have driven me potty Grin

ARV1981 · 27/07/2015 21:34

My bump suddenly feels incredibly heavy... is anyone else finding this?

bonzo77 · 27/07/2015 21:49

I've been feeling heavy for a few weeks. Which is ironic as I've not gained any weight at all in that time. Are you wearing any kind of support belt? I wondered if that night help. I tend to wear everything below my bump rather than over it, maybe over bump clothes would give a bit of support.

And a horrible pain, like a stitch, above my belly button. Eases if I lie down for a while. Had it with the last 2, no idea what it is though.

DeladionInch · 27/07/2015 22:22

Ugh, anti D tomorrow. On the plus side that means my mum dealing with ds1 from nap till tea - she's insisting they practice these things so he doesn't have a shock when I dump him on her short notice and contracting. I ain't complaining, got a day of shopping with a friend lined up for next week :o

ARV1981 · 28/07/2015 07:22

I have some over bump stuff, but finding it more and more uncomfortable now. I'm not really complaining about my heavy bump, it's just another new sensation that pregnancy seems to bring!

It's nice that the baby is moving lots and I am trying to work out what's a foot, arm, elbow etc... it's like a little game!!! The baby's been head down for weeks, so I'm hoping it stays that way.Grin

Anti-d is a pain... I've had it three times now, and each time my arm feels dead for longer. Glad you're getting a day off next week to spend on yourself with adults!

DeladionInch · 28/07/2015 08:09

Yeah, my 2nd. Or third? Can't remember how many I had last time! They do it in your bum here so not so bad on the numbness

Ds at 2y8m is pretty civilised and will generally trot off and play if provided with adequate toys plus friendly other kids slack mummy so I'm fine for grown up company as long as playgroups are running. Whhhhhhyyyyy do those stop for the whole summer?!

misssmilla1 · 28/07/2015 13:36

My bump also feels really heavy, turning over in bed is a feat of achievement and it feels like my stomach is going to fall out / over Shock

The baby has gone back to being a frank breech, so his arms and legs are over his head all of which are sticking in my ribs somewhere, which is super uncomfortable atm. Anything apart from lieing down or being in a swimming pool is horrible.

I have scoliosis (which I keep forgetting to mention to my Dr, not sure how Blush) which isn't severe but I'm wondering if it's putting the vertebrae in the way of where the baby would normally be able to hang out (i.e. head down) which is why he's presenting breech. Next check up is next week where I am determined to remember to bring it up; if nothing else, if I deliver naturally I think they need to know in case I want an epidural, to be able to site it properly.

Just back from consultant appointment and he's done 2 things to surprise me today.... One was to stab me with a Vitamin B12 injection as a result of blood tests earlier this week - has anyone else had this? Apparently the main symptoms of deficiency is tiredness so I'm interested to see what happens now!

The second thing he did was to ask me to come back in 8 weeks time!! That's right he doesn't want to see me again until post-natal!!! Must be pleased with me Grin this is the blood pressure and heart function chap - I've still got the placenta position team to deal with next week, but my risk factors are suddenly going down rather than up for a change Grin

Enjoy the holiday treacle!

DeladionInch · 30/07/2015 18:18

Awesome news ditzzy

ditzzy · 30/07/2015 20:52

Grin thanks!

Hope the anti-D went ok? The Vit B was another jab in the bum but nowhere near as stingy as the anti-D!

Treaclepie19 · 31/07/2015 08:48

That's great dittzy :)
Thank you! We're coming home tomorrow :( It's been lovely to spend some time with DH (we're here with his family too).

Back to reality soon, got an appointment with the consultant on the 12th to see whether they would recommend a c section or not.

I'm starting to get quite nervous about birth now. Well, more nervous about hospital if im honest. I don't want to stay in.
Oh well, I suppose it's a short time for a good cause!

Hope everyone is ok?
I'm off to get blood taken today due to persistent itching.

ditzzy · 04/08/2015 08:09

Good luck with that treacle!

All fine here, just nervously waiting for Friday and my final placenta position scan.

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2015 08:19

Thank you :)

Hope all goes well on Friday!
It's all getting so close now.

OP posts:
ditzzy · 04/08/2015 08:24

Very close!! So exciting Grin

I keep wondering when they'll give up testing everything on the principle that results just won't come back in time to make any difference!

DeladionInch · 04/08/2015 08:32

Coming up on 35 weeks and nowhere near organised!

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2015 08:42

Haha very true dittzy!

There's still time deladion :)

amusville · 06/08/2015 07:20

Oh dittzy my final placenta scan is tomorrow too. Think I've had too much time to think about section now, it really appeals to my inner control freak. Not sure what I will do if they say I have to push her out now even though I never would have wanted one.

ditzzy · 06/08/2015 08:08

I know amusville it's more of a feeling of 'but they'll give me an absolute date that I can plan around' than anything else!!

It's not that I actively want a C-section now, just that I've got so used to the idea that it'll be a surprised to get waved off with a comment that everything is now fine Grin

GoooRooo · 06/08/2015 10:23

Opps have completely fallen off this thread and relied on the Facebook group more, sorry ladies!

Glad to see things are moving along nicely. Not long to go now! 32+3 here and feel ENORMOUS.
