Welcome Bearchomp (am loving that name) and congrats

Carrot- only difference was I saw consultant at around 16 weeks and was meant to see him again at 35 weeks, scuppered by ds turning up at 34 weeks Hmm other than that everything else was the same.

Cazzybaby · 29/04/2015 14:20

Hello Hmm
Still in a state off disbelief but tested this morning (twice) and have a BFP! still not told DP yet as he is on a course and can't ger hold off him! Think I'm due New Years day, first baby together but we have three girls already between us!
Might need some hand holding to get through the next few months!

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 29/04/2015 18:23

welcome to everybody newly bfp'd.
This will be my 4th Dc....although my littlest dc is about to turn into an adult lol. I'm either mad or brave.....but having had my career and putting pennies in the bank I can honestly say that being a Mommy is better than anything.

Mummyofonesofar · 29/04/2015 18:28

probably so sorry about your chemical. Congrats to all the bfps!! Wishing you all a healthy 8 months left! I've got my midwife appointment at the end of May and have maternity notes already! Very organised here!!

Mummyofonesofar · 29/04/2015 18:32

Reading up some stats and there is more of a chance of a mmc (3%) than conveiving twins naturally (2%). I wish no women ever had to go through any loss, let alone one like that of a mmc. Sad

bearchomp · 29/04/2015 18:36

Hello to all!
Sorry to hear about the chemical probably this ttc lark really does suck at times.
Think carrot and wouldleave we are edd triplets!
Congratulations to everyone

CarrotVan · 29/04/2015 19:16

Really Mummy? I think last time I got my handheld notes at the booking appointment around 8-9 weeks. I should probably give them a call in the next couple of weeks.

We've had a lot of difficult family news recently and in some ways I'd like to tell people to provide some good news but in reality we'll wait for the 12 week scan. My closest sister knows but is under strict instructions to keep it a secret. I'm just going to avoid events where I might normally drink or be the designated driver. I hate driving so much that people may guess from that alone.

loveulotslikejellytots · 30/04/2015 09:37

Can I join? I've been getting faint lines on internet cheapies for a few days, couldn't believe it until I got a strong + on a cb and a cb digital! 1-2 weeks on that! Can anyone help me with my due date though.

LMP was 29th March, so due date calendar thing says EDD is 3rd January. But my cycles average 35 days, I found a calculator that you can adjust the cycle length on and that puts it as 13th January. So am I 4+ weeks or 2+ weeks? Xx

loveulotslikejellytots · 30/04/2015 09:38

Sorry for the kisses! It's a habit, I obviously txt too much!

Mummyofonesofar · 30/04/2015 09:51

carrot Yes, when they booked my appointment over the phone they said to pop along at any oint to collect my notes so I can put in my history and read through the screening leaflets and decide on any questions i may have ready for the booking in appt.

loveyoulots you are 3 weeks + 4 days - congratulations!

Mummyofonesofar · 30/04/2015 09:52

lovyoulots oh and due date 10th January 2016!

loveulotslikejellytots · 30/04/2015 09:58

Thanks Mummyofonesofar! How did you work that out?

Mummyofonesofar · 30/04/2015 10:00

The NHS have a great calculator online which tells you how many weeks but not days and takes into account your cycle length and gives you your due date, I saw you will be due the week after me - on a Sunday so you are just a week behind me at 4 weeks + 4 days.

Embolio · 30/04/2015 11:13

hello and welcome Smile I am so desperate to poas again, I said I was going to wait till the weekend but I can't - feel like a mad woman!

Miniangel · 30/04/2015 11:43

Can I please join as well. Found out yesterday that we are expecting DC2. CB Digi says 3+ weeks. I might need a dating scan as have irregular periods due to PCOS. This one is unexpected but I did loose over 2 stone so maybe that's the reason. Waves to everyone.

mrsfazruns · 30/04/2015 11:53

Can I join in!! Not trying at all this month as was doing london marathon!! Turns out I have a bean that likes to run!! Felt unusually tired monday tiesday and weds so decided to POAS last night (a few time) and BFP!! So shocked!! Lol

Due date 9 jan! Had MMC in December so but nervous ..... But still can't help being excited x

Mummyofonesofar · 30/04/2015 11:57

Welcome mini congratulations!!

mrsfazruns how a running bean! congratulations, try not to stress too much and enjoy - I hope it is a sticky one for you !

mrsfazruns · 30/04/2015 12:00

Thanks mummyofone

bearchomp · 30/04/2015 13:08

Welcome to the newbies!
Has anyone told anyone outside of your DH/DP yet?
We are trying to keep it to ourselves as long as possible, but I had terrible nausea and sickness starting around 6wks last time so hoping if that returns, no one guesses!

loveulotslikejellytots · 30/04/2015 13:36

We only found out 'properly' this morning, but so far just my best friend at work. And I only told her because we are both TTC and she has been helping me with symptom spotting! Grin

We'll probably tell the parents in about a week, and another 2 good friends early just because we'd want them to know if we needed support with anything.

CarrotVan · 30/04/2015 16:20

I've told one of my sisters but won't tell anyone else until after the 12 week scan if I can avoid it.

Very impressed at the marathon MrsFaz - well done

Miniangel · 30/04/2015 16:41

Thanks Mummyofone and bearchomp.

We have told both sides of the parents and my best friend. We do not intend on telling anyone else until 12 weeks. I start a new job on 1st June so hoping I don't show for a bit and can do some impressing b fire I have to tell them. Let's see how it goes.

Feeling so tired.

mrsfazruns · 30/04/2015 16:52

Thanks carrotvan

I've told both sets of parents and my sister!! I really needed friends and family support when I miscarried so don't mind close people knowing x

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 30/04/2015 18:48

congrats to all who have joined. my confidence is so up and down....probably the legacy of a mmc :(
i havent had many symptoms yet just sore bbs and some af type cramping, but qhen I woke up this morning my bbs felt normal. Can't deny it saw me flying into a complete panic. They do seem to still be sore as the day has gone on and I resorted to doing my last cb digi. So on Sunday I got a 1-2 weeks and today it said 2-3 weeks so at least I can see progress. Smile
Is anybody else madly symptom spotting?

CarrotVan · 30/04/2015 19:05

Totally symptom spotting - and still testing. I feel bloody awful - upset stomach, nausea, knackered, a few tweaks in my pelvis which is worrying as I had awful PGP last time BUT no sore or massive breasts.

I bought a CB digital today so I can test again.
