I don't know on the wetness front daholster, perhaps just keep an eye on it.

I have 4 days too FiRaffe, today is manic with 11 children and then tues, weds and thurs aren't too bad. Friday we're planning a family trip out and Sunday will be Easter lunch at my mums and Dh wants to go to a dog show on my due date, then induction on Tuesday.

Hope they're looking after you MoominMama22!

I think Nunkie has had her baby Hidingthefear but hasn't posted on here just fb unless I've missed it.

Happy full term Squatting and RL Grin

Having a rather stressful morning - plugged my phone into itunes to update last night and woke up to find it had failed and wouldn't turn on. Almost 2 hours later it's nearly sorted but I was starting to worry about being without a phone when I could go into labour at any point. Now just waiting for it to hurry up and finish so I can head into work, can't believe it's taken so long to fix!

daholster · 30/03/2015 09:02

Anyone else not gained/lost weight this trimester? I just weighed myself and I haven't gained anything since 28 weeks?!!

37+6

daholster · 30/03/2015 09:05

Oh mswibble I'm sorry, I didn't refresh the page before I posted about my weight!!! So have cross posted loads of messages... If it helps I have gained 1.5stone since I fell pregnant. Just none at the end!

Will read back now...

daholster · 30/03/2015 09:16

Thanks for all your thoughts. I'm not overly worried about it its just very annoying and a bit weird. Not even sure there is enough to collect on a pad. Next wee I'll stick a pantyliner on just to be sure. I think the wetness is just discharge really, and the dribble is probably wee, its just the two together often make me wonder. Got very disconcerted yesterday at swimming since we had been in the shower on the way in and then got out to wait for the little pool, and while I was standing there there was a lot of warm water running down the insides of my legs and it felt very excessive!!! I kept looking to see it wasn't bloody or anything! Apart from waiting to see if contractions started I have no idea how I'd know! I just got in...!

Wineandchoccy · 30/03/2015 09:41

Firaffe and Cinnamon it's my last Monday at work for 2015 as well. I'm working from home all 4 days as well so no need to get dressed up in uncomfortable work clothes.

I have no car until Wednesday because some idiot has drove down the side of it on a car park and of course they didn't leave any contact details Angry so it's in the garage having a re spray.

I have had to put breast pads in my bra today as my boobs are leaking lots, this pregnancy lark is fun isn't it!

Heyitsholly · 30/03/2015 09:52

Im so over this pregnancy lark. My hips have become so painful at night for the last two nights. Today its had me up since 6 and its just not going away. Been bouncing and stretching to no avail. Feeling major sympathy for all you spd ladies i dont know how youve done it.
Im so hoping my sweep tomorrow works but after seeing all these comments that no one elses has worked.
Held a one month old yesterday was a real shock as its been probably 17 years since ive held such a small baby as thats the youngest in the family. Still not quite put two and two together that all that cuteness is in my belly. About time i cottoned on hey!

Congrats to all the baby mamas recently. Some adorable piccies!

skyra13 · 30/03/2015 09:57

Morning Ladies

daholster RE- weight gain I did not fain any weight until 3rd trimester I have now put on the amount you can have as hand luggage on Ryaniar lol 15kg hoping not to put much more on!!! Blush I was 100kg to start with! RE- wetness i have suffered with this pantyliner helps I was worried I might of been leaking hind waters was told to lie down for 30min and if I leak when stand up then it is most likely waters I don't, so feeling safe it just bits down there being gross!

Moomin I hope things are going well and they are treating you well.

Wine I get a nice leaky boob if I lean on them lol!

I have my 2nd sweep today booked at 12.30 really hoping it is not as bad as my first one!! that was not nice!! Hoping things get going I am sure little one is way to relaxed in side!!

RL20 · 30/03/2015 10:50

Wow lots to catch up on since I last posted at midnight!

Yes Happy Term to us, Banana and Squatting! Grin

Siarie good luck with your midwife appointment today - I'm guessing you meant today but you posted at just after midnight so I'm not sure! Grin

Daholster sorry for your rubbish sleep! RE dribble I'm thinking a little bit of excess wee too Confused I've had it for a few months now. Not had any of the actual trickling feeling yet though. I suppose it was hard to tell as you'd just been swimming?

Penguin unfortunately I only get to watch Friends at my mums (all day long!) because she has Comedy Central whereas we haven't! Although if I was watching Friends I don't think I would have got to sleep! Grin

Wine that's terrible, people are so inconsiderate! Angry Hope it wasn't too costly.

Heyitsholly I feel the same!
I haven't held a baby for about 2 years, and before that, probably never!

Lauren that's lovely of your other half Smile
Mine is currently next to me in bed still snoring as he's taken the day off work. I don't think he can handle this hangover malarkey anymore Grin Hoping we get stuff done today as he's off, but I'm guessing that might just be wishful thinking.

Hiding thanks for the advice on breathing!

Siarie · 30/03/2015 11:05

I only got checked cervix wise because I was having contractions every 7-8 mins. As since then I've been getting a lot of BH's 5 mins apart, cervix jabs, feelings of pressure down there I'm hoping I'll be able to get my midwife to examine me today. It would be good to know if anything has changed since my last exam.

50% effaced is reasonable though, my cervix is thinning out from what I've read. But was still closed at that time (so not dilated). From reading it does seem like I'm getting a lot of what women usually get near the final week/s of pregnancy.

I also want to check that my blood test for OC tested my liver function and bile levels as one can be raised while the other not. I'm still incredible itchy, my pills don't seem to be stopping the itch they are just knocking me out. It's so bad that I actually would like an induction rather than itch anymore. Feel like cutting my skin off and when it flares up I can't sleep.

Hidingthefear · 30/03/2015 11:07

Ah yes Cinnamon, I saw a baby on FB, wasn't sure which mumsnetter it was. super cute!

daholster I haven't gained much in the last 2-3 weeks. I weighed myself at a friends on saturday and still wasn't 11stn. She has the scales witha needle so i did struggle to see actual weight but I think I was about 10st8. And I weighed myself at 26weeks and was 10st6, but bump has grown.
On the stretch mark front my belly isn't that marked but my bum looks like a purple zebra!! DH says my body is evening out the weight gin so i don't topple over forwards lol.

Heyitsholly and RL, i haven't linked my bump to a cute bundle of joy yet either. I don't ever remember holding a baby, although I have seen a photograph of me holding my cousin when I was 5. i'm sure i'll figure it outConfused haha

ooh no wine how frustrating!! hope it doesn't cost you too much!

daholster · 30/03/2015 11:14

Oh RL the leg trickle has been for a while. Be er noticed the trickle when I get up from bed though so that's why I haven't worried.

daholster · 30/03/2015 11:15

*never

RL20 · 30/03/2015 11:16

Ha ha Hiding, purple zebra, I feel the same! I thought I'd got away with getting none on my belly but noticed in the mirror the other day that there is a faint one slightly under bump, which obviously I can't see from just looking down! Mine are mainly on the inside of my legs and at the top of my bum. They do say they fade after the birth don't they. No idea how true that is though.

RE weight I've only weighed myself once about 2 months ago but I can't even remember what it said, I think I remember thinking I've put on nearly a stone. Haven't weighed myself since though. Not much point when I don't know whether it's fat gain or just baby! Grin The tops of my arms and tops of my legs are definitely bigger though. But like some of you I didn't put on any weight in first trimester, I lost around half a stone from not being able to eat

londonlivvy · 30/03/2015 11:20

mswibble I've also gained more than I ideally wanted. I'm 38+5 and have gained 14kg which is about 30 lbs. Too many biscuits, basically. Bad me.

Went swimming this morning. possibly last time????

come on baby...

FiRaffe · 30/03/2015 11:31

Oh Sairie sorry to hear about the itching. Hopefully the midwife can test everything and suggest a solution.

I've got stretch marks all over my bump but they are still silvery. Was always going to get them but at least they aren't uncomfortable. Have only put on 4kg since booking in (weighed at my last appointment but avoid scales generally), but I was over 90kg to start with and baby is small. I'm sure you still look lovely mrswibble just a different you than the one you're used to!

Congrats to those of you reaching full term and yay for those of us finishing work this week. Friday cannot come soon enough!

Hidingthefear · 30/03/2015 11:32

yeah RL mine are same place. My belly button is very stretched where i used to have my piercing. the skin is shiny like a burn. I used to have very purple boobs when I was 16 because i hit puberty late and my boobs exploded in just a few months, all them stretch marks faded to white so i'm pretty sure these will do the same. I don't believe in all the creams and stuff, it's just luck of the draw and partly genetics as to how they fade to be honest.
speaking of boobs, i went and got a new bra at weekend. the woman asked what size i'd been wearing and I said about a 34 D/DD and she just laughed and said c'mon lets get you a bra that fits. and I left with a 34G :0 i must say the burning pain under my ribs has pretty much gone so i think giving my boobs the support they needed has defo helped!

I was 9stn3 (sorry don't know kilo's) before I got preg so I know i've defo gained a stone, but I expected anything around 11stn would be about normal. Was trying to lose weight before I got preg, I think if it wasn't for the ongoing "morning" sickness i would have definitely weigh more but it's defo suppressed my appetite.

well done on the swimming london !

brummagem · 30/03/2015 11:34

Moomin hope it all sorts itself out. Are they going to c section or just monitor to see if can naturally give birth?

I've put on about 2st 3lb (probably more now due to ice cream and galaxy chocolate with a cuppa fetish) but everyone says how lovely and neat my bump is and I don’t look pregnant from anything but side on and front on depending on the top I wear. I do seem to have a medium to large sized baby and guessing the rest is fluid etc. My bump measures above 90th centile but baby was between 50th and 90th at 32 weeks. Hoping it will all sort itself after the birth as my diet isn't generally too bad all home cooked from scratch and using our allotment produce when we have it but will have to ease up on that Heston Salted caramel ice cream! I guess being 5'10" kind of helps hide everything lol.

BananaToast · 30/03/2015 11:38

I've also gained more weight than I was hoping to, almost 2st now, but thankfully still stretchmark-free. Keep checking the underneath of my bump to make sure they're not hiding under there. Knowing my luck I'll be one of these people who gets covered in them the day baby arrives.

I'm another working my last Monday of 2015 today Grin Think this week (or the 3 days I'm actually working) is going to be really hectic trying to get through everything before I go. Doesn't feel real yet!

RL20 · 30/03/2015 11:45

Hiding my belly button sounds the same - it's sort of non-existent now it's stretched that much! It just feels flat, other half finds it hilarious!
I got a pot of bump cream in one of those packs you get at around 12 weeks. I used it for a few days after having a bath but I have a bad habit of not moisturising etc anyway. So it wasn't going to happen, but I haven't got any stretch marks as such on my bump anyway. So I agree that it's probably luck of the draw and genetics. I remember a girl on my Facebook saying she had been applying cream throughout and thought she'd got away with not getting anyway but then at about week 38ish they appeared! So you just never know.

RE bras I had always worn a 34B and remember going to get measured at M&S a couple of years ago. I was shocked when she chose some 36D's for me! I still believe I wasn't a D though, more of a C. And it really depends on what style of bra you wear as she bought out one in a C as the D would have been too big.
I only wear a 36D now (or DD I can't remember!)

What do BH's feel like?!
I'm sure it's not them and it's just baby kicking in an awkward place. He always seems to move around a lot more on my left side as I said last night. It almost feels as if he's kicking a muscle, it's like an 'eeeeekConfused' pain

mswibble · 30/03/2015 12:31

I was the opposite in the first trimester, in fact that's when I think I packed the majority on! The only time I didn't feel sick was when I was eating and cheese on toast was a real fave! I won't admit how much I've gained as its truly shocking but I'm trying to not let it upset me. However I really need to knock my chocolate habit on the head. I was never bothered about chocolate before pregnancy however I've become a total chocoholic so I definitely need to reign that in!
RL I too have the flat belly button, its soooo weird! I can't focus on it too much as it really freaks me out. Lord knows what I'm going to be like with the umbilical stump ....

I can't remember who it was but thank you to whoever recommended the 'Expecting Better' book by Emily Later. It really is fan and has reassured me about so much. I'm also reading the (whispers) 'Netmums Guide to Babies First Year' which is also very useful and informative.

Re nursing bras, is it best to go around 38wks then? But how do they guesstimate how big you're going to get when the milk comes in?
I was a 36dd/e before pregnancy and am currently wearing those over the head stretchy bras which don't even have proper sizes so I dread to think what I'll get. I'm thinking a trip to the Trafford Centre to get them so M&S, John Lewis, Debenhams will be my options I think. Any reccs?

I'm also term this week, Thursday to be exact. Grin
I am being sent to the diabetic clinic tomorrow though as they keep finding sugar in my urine and despite two GTTs coming back perfectly fine they want to check all avenues. Then on Thursday I have group session for physiotherapy. No idea what to expect to be honest, even if I go home having learnt just one exercise or position to ease the SPD I'll be happy.

cinnamongreyhound · 30/03/2015 12:41

I don't have stretch marks from any pregnancies but do from when I gained a lot of weight quickly many years ago Sad

Those that have gained more than they wanted try not to worry, a good friend of mine gained 5st and lost most of it by the time her dd was 3 months so it doesn't mean it's with you forever. This is my first pregnancy to gain weight as I was 100kg with ds1, 95kg with ds2 and 65kg with this one. I sicker with ds1&2 then this one and had less to to lose so only lost 2kg but I am now 73Kg. Haven't gained any for at least 6 weeks though as I just don't have space for a big meal and anything sugary or fatty snack wise gives me hideous heart burn so it tends to put me off!

BH feel like your whole bump going very hard RL20. I find it hard to breathe now when I get them as baby is taking up most of my abdomen so when my uterus tightens my diaphragm seems to have nowhere to go!

Kids have been so good today! Did some drawing while they waited for the last ones to arrive. A trip to the park for a couple of hours and now watching Madagascar 2 while having lunch. It's very peaceful for a little while!

cinnamongreyhound · 30/03/2015 12:43

Definitely not m&s mswibble!! I used mothercare with ds1 and they were very good. I would hope John Lewis would do a good job but no experience. Yes 38 is the recommended time to get fitted.

FiRaffe and Brumma, I've been really luck with the lung capacity this pregnancy - it's not really been affected at all, so I've been singing much longer than I thought I would be. Yesterday definitely felt like a bit of a stretch... glad that that was the big Holy Week party piece, and everything else is going to be like a normal service with an anthem rather than anything more demanding! Think our choir master is just glad I've made it through this long... I have every intention of getting back into singing as soon as possible, as DH can keep hold of the baby during the service, and I already get lots of movement whenever the deep organ pedals come on, which I am taking as a sign of approval ;)

Moomin, sorry to hear you've been in again - hope everything is OK and you get a quiet day today.

Brew, mswibble. No point in worry about losing the weight until you've delivered the baby and worked out how much you actually weigh once all of the extra stuff has gone and, if you're planning to BF, the effects of that kick in. Plus your baby is going to think you're gorgeous whatever!

daholster, I'm not weighing myself at all, so have absolutely no idea :)

Good luck with the midwives, Siarie.

37w+5, and first day of maternity leave! DH has the day off too, so he came to my 37w antenatal appt this morning. All is mostly well, including the fact that the baby is no longer back-to-back (hurrah for all the sitting on the ball and leaning forward!), but my blood pressure is slightly raised for me (although still well within 'normal' limits). The doctor's recommended me to pop in to have it checked by a nurse next week, and then I've a midwife appt at 39w anyway. I've got no other symptoms of worrying things, so it's just a matter of keeping an eye on it. Frankly, I'm tempted to blame the first day of maternity leave myself ;)
