kismac I can't stop eating chocolate. There is so much sodding Easter detritus everywhere. DH is out so naturally I am polishing off his egg first.

Ha ha. My DH isn't normally bother with chocolate but actually hide his Easter eggs from me! Yes, I would have eaten them but that's not the point. Ha ha.

Any baby wriggling yet Daholster?
Can't help with the plug advice, haven't had any yet myself.

Got backache but nothing more. Currently lying down. My 5 minute lie down was interesting, I lifted my leg to get up and hot stuff fell out

Dd just got upset and said something like " crying voice crying voice crying voice baby brother crying voice " and repeated it. When I asked if she was worried about baby brother she said yes. I'm not really sure she's old enough to be worried but it was interesting that it came out of the blue.

kismac if mine tried to hide his I would kill him. I have a friend whose husband divided a box they'd been given as a present into two halves and when she'd finished all of 'hers' and asked for one of his, refused point blank to say where he'd hidden them! And she had her period! I mean can you imagine.

Mine is very stringy and green, had brown blood in but since I was examined yesterday the blood is red daholster I wouldn't describe it as thin. Could be waters?

My Easter eggs are all at home

Hm I'm not sure and know it would potentially mean a trip to the hospital and disrupting dd when I will just be sent home again either way to wait...

Thanks cinnamon that's helpful. Tmi but its a bit like the mucusy bit at the very start of your period when its bright red/pink, but I never drip watery red which is what makes me wonder. Just not sure... Shall I stand up now?

Wow lots going on at the moment on here! Hope everyone in hospital being induced gets to meet their little bundles sooner rather than later

Daholster, I agree that could be waters. I had a hindwater? leak with DD, so not my waters breaking properly but meant I was on the whole 24hr countdown to established labour to avoid infection thing. If you can get some on a pad and give your midwife a call they can do a test to see if it's waters or not.

Had my 38wk appt yesterday and the midwife said that either babies head is fully engaged or has turned breach as she couldn't feel the head, plus heartbeat was suspiciously high so had to go for a scan today. Luckily bubs is well and truly head down and measuring approx 7lb 10oz at 37+6 which scares me! So at half a pound a week she could be 8lb 10oz at 40weeks and well into the 9's if I go over . Hear stories of them getting the measurements completely wrong so fingers crossed she isn't that big already. On the plus side she gave me a free 4D scan plus pics which was amazing! Apparently quite rare for 4D at this late stage but there was a pocket of water near babies face which meant perfect scanning conditions!

Been having lots of period pains for the last week and boobs started leaking on Friday, both don't mean anything I know but have everything crossed things might start happening soon

Been to dentist about tooth pain silently giving up :(
He says he does not think there is am infection anymore but had given me antibiotics again just incase to nip it in the bud!
He thinks I am grinding my teeth of a night due to baby stress and that os what is causing the pain as my teeth don't hurt seems to be jaw pain and the grinding is effecting my gums and causing the pain I feel miserable but it is bearable now! Sometimes I have to take paracetamol but trying not to! Anyone els suffered with this in pregnancy?
Dentist actually ground my teeth at the back down to try and help! I have gone on to amazon and brought a mouth guard see if it helps x

It's not an ear or sinus infection is it skyra? May be worth a trip to the Dr to check? They can refer pain to your teeth. Sounds horrid

BHs do make my heart race and feel pressure in my chest and head. All tingly. An odd sort of feeling. Not painful though. Ooh! I'm not ready to finish this pregnancy yet!!! After all this whining... House isn't done and if its my last baby I will miss the bump, wriggles and entitlement to feel pathetic

Aw sorry about your teeth trouble Skyra. All I know is that I've heard that pregnancy can play havoc with your mouth/teeth/gums and can make them sensitive which I'm guessing, which makes them more susceptible to infections etc. Hope it sorts itself out!

Daholster did you ring the midwives?

Well I've spent the best part of the evening on all fours and the most excitement it caused was the loud and rather long trump I let out oh and now when I'm stood up I'm getting the full bowling ball feeling which considering I'm supposed to be 4/5ths I hadn't really felt until now.

Just got in bed and the stabbing pain is back ?? trying not to make any sudden movements as that seems to set it off again. Wondering if its round ligament and she just irritated it by poking? I really hope it's not another month till I meet this little one I'm wasting my maternity leave!

Argh! I'm next to assess and if I'm favourable to break my waters I can't go to delivery suite but if I'm not there's no hold on delivery suite so I can have another gel . Then given spiel about safety of having a midwife but if the gel sends me into labour or it makes me more favourable then what? I can't have my waters broken anyway because there's nowhere for me to go. What is the point?!?!

How is the delivery suite still full cinnamon? It's been hours, don't they turf them onto a ward when they've had the baby so someone else can have a go? Seems silly to set you off when they know the suite is full. Really should have sent you home to try again tomorrow instead of making you hang around in limbo.

skyra - I got told I was probably grinding teeth in my sleep when at routine dentist appointment in first preg.

He made me a mouth guard thing to wear at night and basically encouraged me to do it when preg as it was free - would have cost a couple of hundred quid otherwise.

So you may want to have a further chat.

Needless to say I am a bad person as I let him make it for me and then barely wore it and now it lives somewhere in the bathroom.

Erm cinnamon that makes no sense! Though I guess they think if it isn't working then the second gel may take some time? And if you are ready then you'll go on the list...

I think its all plug. It comes away every time I stand but not enough to flood a pad and looks mucusy on the paper. Smells of sperm... Ew. Its not!!! The dripping hasn't happened since, it was after the loo so I wonder if it was a tainted wee drip?

I feel a bit like shit, can't be arsed to get up and tidy/sort but equally not ready for bed. Don't feel sick but don't feel right. Ready for a night time on the sofa I think but I know that's the wrong thing to do!

I don't know, I was first on the list but just heard the lady next to me say she thinks her waters have gone so she'll be sent down I guess. It seems just lack of staff Lauren82000. It can't still be full, I was first from yesterday but two women have gone in front of me.

Sorry to hear there isn't any progress for you cinnamon. Hopefully you'll get some progress soon!

Hope all is okay daholster. Can you get checked in the morning if it hasn't improved?

fi yes that's a good idea. Contemplating sleeping in the spare room since I have no mattress protector and don't want to ruin our good one!!! Lol!

It doesn't matter if there is any progress FiRaffe as there's no space for me to go if I have progressed. Been on monitor for 40 mins now and it was supposed to be 20-30!

He did not seem to want to make me one so I have ordered one if it works I hope it does then I will go back after bump is born and get one, he thinks I'm doing only due to having bump. Will see what happens. I just want the pain to go away see midwife tomo I will ask her x

Well, a power cut is exactly what we need!!!

Second gel in and on monitors for another hour. Dh gone home and tightenings started so wonder if I'll sleep at all.
