With our swamp fanjos and supermarket jobbies it's all going on in our knickers. It's a wonder our men agree to deliver the prostaglandin injections but then we are the 24th Just Shagging Grads!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 24th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is herein its 41st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs herefor once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

GX pis I had better not be late, there is no way DH would "step up" he looked horrified when I suggested some action the other day.
Christ knows what he is doing for relief.

dulcet yes, do whatever you like! Although will class cheer you up? I haven't been sad, just very very attached to my sofa and blanket. It's my favourite place in the world at the moment Grin and I am forcing myself to go out.

ChatEnOeuf · 19/03/2015 11:23

Good luck to you today Boo and Purple (and anyone else doing Stuff today, for some reason the 'show all messages' button is showing just the last page today).

Wil Edelweiss worked for us as well, as did a Barenaked Ladies track called When you Dream wishful thinking. Ultimately I fed her to sleep and did for a year Hmm

Happy birthday for yesterday Splodge!

I love Lush baths too Tee - I have a surprisingly vast collection in the bathroom. Needing a bath every day to soothe my aching bones. Can't remember being this bad list time, I'll blame the whirlwind that is DD.

TheBooMonster · 19/03/2015 11:35

pis you have until Saturday afternoon! No pressure or anything :p

Fleurchamp · 19/03/2015 11:55

I am in awe of anyone pregnant with a toddler. An hour with my 4 yr old niece exhausts me.

Happy birthday for yesterday splodge

DulcetMoans · 19/03/2015 12:12

I know you're right pis, I will be fine when I get there. Just getting there that is the problem. Risk with going home is that I won't want to leave again. I love my sofa as well fleur!

I love the argon oil cream in Lush at the moment tee and chat, smells great but so expensive! Wasn't there someone here the hated Lush? Or was that somewhere else?

Pisghetti · 19/03/2015 12:34

Are you being induced Boo? Is everything ok?

OP posts:
TheBooMonster · 19/03/2015 12:41

Bump has gone from 42nd centile to 11th. With my other general medical arg they decided that a 37 week induction would be a good idea think the lady who have birth in the corridor an hour earlier had made them pretty cautious so I'm booked in for the weekend, I'm in the ocean of Denial about the pain at the moment so unbelievably excited Grin

DulcetMoans · 19/03/2015 12:49

Well let's go with excited then boo! Do you have emergency purchases to make?!

Pisghetti · 19/03/2015 12:56

Ooh collect that stuff from you IL's! Good luck Boo Grin

willywallace · 19/03/2015 12:57

Hurrah Boo! So exciting!

I said Saturday for you too Pis - we're totally having JS twins. Grin Grin Grin

I not sure I have the vocal range for eidelweiss Confused . I wish she would fall asleep feeding Chat, that's easier all round.

minimooo · 19/03/2015 13:17

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been AWOL for the last week...been busy with work and baby preparation stuff, so only just caught up with the Fred.

So, late stats to add:
Name: minimooo
Age: 30 (though not for much longer! Sad)
DC: none (except for two outdoor runny babbits)
Currently cooking first DC (DD!) and I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow.

Wow, exciting stuff Boo! Hope all goes well at the weekend.

Pis I vote Saturday too. Ooooo lovely to think we might have JS twins this weekend.

Happy birthday for yesterday splodge!

Lauren, if you're reading, I'm thinking of you and DS and hope you are all OK and doing well xx

dulcet. Hope you feel better soon my lovely.

I have been busy ordering a load of stuff off Mothercare this week, so I think we've almost got everything we need now. Car seat arrived yesterday and pram is due to arrive at the end of March.
DH and BIL are going to clear out the spare room next week and transform it into a beautiful, painted, finished nursery at last So hopefully I can stop panicking about not being ready after next week.

Today I am eating ALL THE FOOD. Maybe mini-minimoo is having a growth spurt before our growth scan next week...

TheBooMonster · 19/03/2015 13:40

PiL are getting the stuff out of their loft and bringing it on Saturday, they're going to get us more nappies but other than that we are total sorted and ready for the baby to come!

gaggiagirl · 19/03/2015 13:42

Oh boo you're having a baby! So exciting!
pis howay and get that bairn out, this has been the longest pregnancy of all time ever!
dulcet its me that hates lush! Fair play to folk who do like it but its so not my thing.

Lemondrizzletwunt · 19/03/2015 14:15

Boo and Pis in a race to the finish line! Gx for JS twins Grin

Ok, so I know I am a twat. But indulge me just once more. All the stretchy twingey womble pain I have had so far is just on one side, and it's quite persistent today. Stupidly I googled the symptom and it now tells me my pregnancy is ectopic! WTF viroids! Talk me down from the ledge please!

PS Am now also in the FB grads group and am enjoying stalking you all enormously Grin

gaggiagirl · 19/03/2015 14:29

Righto lemon I'm going to talk you down!
But first, is it really hurting on one side? Like really sore, any shoulder tip pain? Ectopics present at 6-9 weeks.
If its just stretching pains and tolerable you should be ok.

Pisghetti · 19/03/2015 14:30

She wouldn't give me a sweep Angry they don't do them until you're term plus 7 Shock honestly you offer your cervix on a plate and they turn you down I'm totally going to have to try and find it myself later to see how it's feeling.

Right operation 'evict the bloody baby' is ON!

Totally normal Lemon I only ever had the stretchy feelings on one side (turned out to be opposite the ovary that released the egg). They take their time making themselves comfortable (sometimes they make themselves really, really, really comfortable........ Hmm)

OP posts:
gaggiagirl · 19/03/2015 14:40

pis whaaaaaaaaaat! Are you 40+4 now? Can you put some pineapple up your chuff I've heard that softens the cervix. Although I dont know how you will get it out.

Lemondrizzletwunt · 19/03/2015 14:42

I have quite a high pain threshold so I don't think it's hurting as such, it's just quite noticeable. It doesn't necessarily feel stretchy, just more poky now. I'm hope it is burrowing.

Maybe I have a mole in my womb instead of a baby?

Glad to hear they were normal for you, Pis, that has cheered me up a bit. And no shoulder tip pain Ga, although apparently you only get this when your tube has ruptured and you're bleeding has reached your other organs. I think if it gets more painful in the next few days I might ask the MW / GP surgery, but the current discomfort level is totally tolerable.

Lemondrizzletwunt · 19/03/2015 14:42

Get Mr Pis to give you a sweep himself!

batfish · 19/03/2015 15:26

Oh pis you poor thing, all this waiting must be torture!! Hope baby comes very soon!

So I found a way of telling my friend who as yet after a few years of TTC and 4 x failed IVF has not been able to have a baby about me being pregnant. I am just heartbroken for her and it was awful having to upset her, she really isn't in a good way about the whole situation. Tonight we are going over to some friends who we haven't told yet - and my other friend (let's call her Anna) will be there. I really want to tell these other friends as we are not seeing them often at the moment as they have just had a baby themselves (baby overload for poor Anna) so I don't know when I will next see them. But I don't want to 'announce' to other people in front of Anna as it just feels like rubbing it in her face. But I also don't want to quickly whisper it to them in the kitchen or something as if it is something we're not supposed to talk about. These friends don't live mega close and we're so busy at the mo that popping in another time isn't really an option. Argh dilemma! I just want to tell everyone now, it's getting too confusing with some people knowing and others not and I'm just fed up of it being a secret. I'm only 11 weeks but had 2 scans so I'm finally feeling OK about it all and I'm ready to share! But need to be sensitive to Anna. But she will always be there in these social situations and we have a few people in the group that we haven't told. Sad

batfish · 19/03/2015 15:30

lemon I am by no means a doctor or a nurse so don't really know what I'm talking about but I used to work in A&E as a non clinical manager - and when people came in with ectopics they were in absolute agony so hopefully mild pains is totally normal. I get pains coming from different areas at different times, it was only when I had last scan that I actually discovered where baby is residing, I think I thought it was higher up and to one side! Clearly paid attention in biology! I'm a fine one to talk after convincing myself of certain disaster before my last can but try not to worry, am sure you and your little bean are perfect.

Pisghetti · 19/03/2015 15:33

Which way up does the pineapple go? You'd think if I can get it in, I could get it out again but I got the baby in and it won't come out.....

MrPis is out for the night so no chance. He also sounds quite excited about having a 'free' weekend whereas I just feel like crying. I know I'm 'only' three days over but I was 'only' three days, then four, then five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, off to the hospital you go to have things done to you, with DS and I just know this is heading the same way. I know I'm being a twat and throwing my toys out of the pram but I don't care.

OP posts:
willywallace · 19/03/2015 15:42

You won't need induction Pis. Go for a run.

Bat can you phone or message them either before or after you meet to tell them? If 'Anna' isn't coping well, probably not best to announce in front of her

Purpleball · 19/03/2015 16:10

Afternoon viroids. Bat I agree, phone and tell the, before hand so it's less of a big event for Anna

Pis, get running or perhaps cut a pineapple into small pieces, not shove a whole one up your chuff

Boo, yayy for weekend baby Smile

Purplebaby is an uncooperative little sod already and wouldn't lie on its back for measurements to be taken. I had to go let some wee out as my bladder was too full - not fun! They did get the measurements and agreed my date but didn't get a brilliant picture. It was free because it was a student sonographer

Think I might do a Facebook announcement later - eeek!

gaggiagirl · 19/03/2015 16:40

purple can we see the pictures pleeeeeeease!
bat nay, nay and thrice nay. Dont announce with that poor woman there. Tell them before or afterwards.
