With our swamp fanjos and supermarket jobbies it's all going on in our knickers. It's a wonder our men agree to deliver the prostaglandin injections but then we are the 24th Just Shagging Grads!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 24th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is herein its 41st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs herefor once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Yay lauren such great news that your little man is doing so well. The friends that we went to see last night had their baby 5 weeks early, he is 3 weeks old now and still so teeny!

boo hope you're doing OK and fingers crossed baby stays comfy in there until told to come out!

willywallace · 20/03/2015 06:16

Glad you figured out a solution Bat. Also chuckling at the idea of giving birth to pineapple chunks in early labour. I'd love to see the mw's face.

Boo have you had a baby during the night?! Sounded promising.

TheBooMonster · 20/03/2015 06:39

No overnight baby. I am however up and awake whilst mrBoo snores away upstairs... Diddums... He needs his rest before I get induced in 36 hours, I can sleep during labour obviously... Hmm

batfish · 20/03/2015 07:09

I bet they've seen stranger things willy Grin

gaggiagirl · 20/03/2015 07:19

boo 36 hours! Weeeeeeeeeeee!
pis are you still pregnant?

Fleurchamp · 20/03/2015 07:23

Great news lauren and good luck boo!
TGIF, that is all Smile

DulcetMoans · 20/03/2015 07:28

Fruit salad during labour? Delightful!

Do the think it was the plug then boo? What does that mean if it was, does it change the plans?

Glad you got to tell some of the friends at least bat. Messaging the rest might not be your preference but it is the kindest thing to do for the sake of your friend.

Eclipse today anyone? Don't look at the sun!!!

LaLaLaaaa · 20/03/2015 07:30

Morning viroids!
Happy birthday splodge Grin

Boo that's exciting! So baby on Saturday/Sunday? Hooray!! Do you have name picked out already?

pis what about doing some daisy stuff? I've found the movements work brilliantly for constipation or trapped wind, why not get on all fours and rotate to dilate! Come on minipis!

lauren that's fantastic news! Has dd met him? What did she think?

Lovely scan photo purple you must be delighted!

bat I understood what you meant. I'm glad you finally got a chance to tell her and that you then got opportunity to tell the others when she left. I've got a person at work who I'm awkward around because I know she's struggling ttc. She's been refused help because of her weight and told to lose weight first. I do feel very sorry for her as I know she desperately wants a child. But also a little sad coz I am friends with her on Facebook. She constantly posts pics of her food and cakes she's made and unfortunately it's mainly very fattening like ice cream sundaes, large desserts, burgers etc. But I guess she's got to work it out herself. I always feel rubbish meeting her in the corridor with my bump.

Mil arrived yesterday. We went out to dinner and her and dh drank a bucketload. I felt very sober and depressed. Her first words were 'oh my that's going to be a big baby!'

She's very nice and means well but I feel huge already. People make a face when they ask how long I've got to go and I say 17 weeks :(

dulcet it's definitely ok to be sad. I'm having a very sad week, I feel so lonely still. You stay at home if you want!

I had terrible backache yesterday. Came on at lunch and lasted all day. Also my hips are starting to hurt. Think I'm just tired. But mil fancies herself as massage therapist and started poking me in back going 'does this hurt? No, don't move away you need to let me see if it hurts!' Yes it does bloody hurt woman that's why I'm moving away!!!

I hate lush! I'm on the no lush camp, the smell makes me sick and I hate getting their products for a present. Yuck!

lemon you would be feeling sick and dizzy too with ectopic plus shoulder pain. If you're concerned speak to dr. I had lots of womble stretching on right hand side. you need to say hello on Facebook group!

I told Facebook - one of the reasons is I wanted to join baby groups locally to get cheap stuff.

If you put fruit up your foof at least you'll have something to snack on!

batfish · 20/03/2015 07:47

Ewwww to snacking on foof fruit hahaha!

Aww la sounds hard with the lady at work. It sounds like she has a food addiction that she needs to work on before she will be able to lose weight - if she is desperate for a baby but even that isn't stopping her eating unhealthily then nothing will probably, poor girl Sad It is an awful feeling when you feel guilty about being pregnant - but you've been through plenty of your own shit times so you shouldn't. Easier said than done though. I however am a really terrible friend - upduffed on 4th cycle with what is (touch wood) up to now a problem free pregnancy. Although we did have to delay TTC for 2 years due to thyroid trouble but nobody knows that so to the outside world I just look like a lucky bitch!

ZylaB · 20/03/2015 07:58

Oooh I'm very excited at the thought of 2 more babies soon! :)

Fattycow · 20/03/2015 09:01

Good morning!

I really should clear all the things from the floor in what will be baby's room. I'm just too tired!

batfish · 20/03/2015 09:47

Arghhhh so I just dared to make a small moan about the fact that I really wish I could have a few drinks this afternoon with our friends - and got a 'oh yeah because it's so shit being pregnant' comment from the hubby. Had to walk away before I killed him.

Of course I'm happy to be pregnant and give up whatever I have to to grow a healthy baby but a little bit of consideration for the changes I do have to make to my life would be nice.

Meanwhile he continues to pack his nice cold beers into the cool box.

Sorry for the rant but just really pissed me off!!

Fattycow · 20/03/2015 09:59

I don't miss alcohol at all, the smell puts me right off! But there are other things I would really love and cannot have! Sad

Fleurchamp · 20/03/2015 10:04

Your MIL sounds like a hoot la GX for the weekend, if not I know a few good lawyers Wink

We are going out tonight, for dinner. I keep looking at the menu and salivating. There is one item that I am fantasising about particularly keen on but it has goats cheese on it. AIBU to call them in advance to request that they substitute it for another, pasteurised, cheese?

Strangely, I do not miss alcohol either and I love a glass of wine usually.

RPopz · 20/03/2015 10:21

I was conscious of doing the same Pis - I was so worried about being induced, I pretty much convinced myself I'd go overdue/ wouldn't be able to go naturally. So I made a point of saying to myself everyday that I was ready to have my baby now (I made a little rhyme up Blush ) - like an affirmation kind of thing! RLT, ball bouncing and dog walking and DS was born the day before his due date Smile

Baby will come when she's ready though, who knows if any of this stuff actually works! Keep positive Smile

TheBooMonster · 20/03/2015 11:01

Happy birthday splodge

I love lush, just wish it wasn't so bloody expensive!

dulcet if it's plug then it will mean my cervix is more favourable I think, so they might be able to break my waters instead of giving me a pessary which would hopefully bring in labour more naturally, just take longer. They will assess when I get there tomorrow.

la yes, we're going with Evelyn and we have Oliver in case the sex turns out to be different.

Fattycow · 20/03/2015 11:13

I used to love Lush, until all the shit kicked off!

Fattycow · 20/03/2015 11:19

Please ladies, do not use Lush in pregnancy. I know they will deny this, but their products really aren't suitable!
Also, they are just a shit company. They have told a lady who miscarried that 'at least you can now go on that business trip for us'. They store products in the bathroom. Staff are not allowed to join a union. They force shops to have the door open, even in the middle of winter. They bully employees. The list goes on and on...

RPopz · 20/03/2015 11:21

oooh what shit?? I can't even walk. past the shop... it stinks!

Beautiful names Boo Smile

Fattycow · 20/03/2015 11:27

rpopz, there is a blog with a lot of background stories, a lot from employees. You can find it if you google Mitherings from Morningside and then look for the posts about The Smell of Bullshit.

Purpleball · 20/03/2015 11:29

Never knew that about Lush but I'm not a fan anyway

Lovely names Boo, let's hope miniboo is making its own way out and no pessaries, drips etc needed Smile

DulcetMoans · 20/03/2015 11:37

Do you know somewhere that works there fatty?

Sounds positive then boo. Would that be your preference? Love the names, would you shorten Evelyn?

Can we create you a mantra pis? It will be positive and affirming but maybe with swears in! Something like 'my cervix is open, my mind is focused. Get the fuck out now!' You know, short and snappy!

Little punch in the balls should sort that one out bat, see how he feels then!

Midwife appointment this morning. She is nice but it does almost seem pointless to raise things as the answer is 'that's normal in pregnancy'. I know we say it here all the time but I want the midwife to maybe prove a bit more. Discussed anxiety as that's really getting to me. She said about going to GP to discuss and maybe medicate but not sure I want to, especially not in pregnancy. Bit stuck, just need to sort my brain out.

Fattycow · 20/03/2015 11:43

dulcet, I actually know quite a few people that have worked there. If it where just one person, I would think they were bitter. But not when you know a bunch of people and they all have similar stories...

boo, I really like your names. Interestingly enough, we have a friend and his girlfriend is named Eveline and he suggested the name Olivier if we have a boy. Wink

TheBooMonster · 20/03/2015 12:10

hmm lush sounds like they're a bit pants, don't they pay living wage though? has it in my head you can't be crap if you pay living wage perhaps I'l have to stick with making my own bath bombs and stuff :/

I'd like to see how different a broken waters started labour is to a pessary induced labour dulcet but either way I won't have long to worry about it if the pessary did what it did last time! We'll probably end up shortening it to Evie, but with Isabella as a middle name I've partially accepted she may just as easily end up being referred to as Bel to go with DD being Boo.

I've booked a photo shoot for the baby, we've got a package for a newborn, 6 month and 1 year shoot and they give you a three photo frame at the end of it and you can buy other packages of photo's on top, was £29 and they say it's worth £250, so I feel like I've got a huge bargain!

The eclipse was a washout here, so much bloody close you couldn't see a thing!
