With our swamp fanjos and supermarket jobbies it's all going on in our knickers. It's a wonder our men agree to deliver the prostaglandin injections but then we are the 24th Just Shagging Grads!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 24th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is herein its 41st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs herefor once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Good luck La Smile

willywallace · 30/03/2015 08:02

Good luck La.

Gaggia phone them up and ask?

Pixie you might find things better than you expect with that age gap. Too young for jealousy or plain old badness!

gaggiagirl · 30/03/2015 08:16

deeply that sucks, I like a nice meal out.
la you will be great. Enjoy the premier inn!
wil I phoned my colleague who booked the appt, she just said the midwife asked her to book it so still none the wiser. I'll ask again today. If I dont need it I'm not going.
Scan at half ten....tick......tock...

teejayem · 30/03/2015 08:48

Knock em dead la

I think we had owls on our roof last night, there was a very distinct screaming noose which woke me and Mr tee up (wasn't foxes). Had one of the cats actually get into the bed with us because it clearly scared her too.

Also a bit hysterical here deeply -dropped Mr tee off at station and I've got back into bed and just cried. For nothing, I may add. the fact I had to have help getting out of bed in the first place and dressed has nothing to do with it.
I got my drawer dividers and started a conveyor of washing very small clothes in colour and size order (ha, I won't give a shit about mixing them up in a few weeks, but whatever....). What's the consensus in newborn size clothing? I don't really have any, all my small stuff is up to 1 month, do we think I should get a few newborn sized bits in case he DOES actually take after his dad and come out pint sized? any excuse to frivoulously sofa shop
gaggia ooooh! Gx for you :) don't clock watch! Let us know how you get on xx

Purpleball · 30/03/2015 09:07

Gx Gaggia

I've only bought newborn size so far but I'm waiting to see what we get given before I buy more.
We're not finding out the flavour so if needbe I'll send Mrpurple out for blue/pink bigger clothes if it's a whopper

teejayem · 30/03/2015 09:26

I was quite restrained until 25 weeks and then suddenly all the summery baby suits with short sleeves came into stock and I went a bit bananas, but in my haste I've probably picked up more for later, rather than immediate post birth.
I don't know if I can trust Mr tee to go and get things at the nth hour. Only because he'd just ring his bloody mother and I'd end up with a hand knitted pram suit and mittens. In cream with baby blue finish.

mountaingirl01 · 30/03/2015 09:31

Good luck la! And gaggia enjoy seeing your lo..I'm looking forward to finding out if that really is a 12w bump!

I just. Cannot. Be. Arsed. Today, so tired and one colleague is on leave and another has just called to say the dr has signed her off for 2 weeks with stress. Pah. We're all stressed, this is the nhs! Think I can get signed off because I'm tired and hormonal? really should have more sympathy but actually just pissed off as I now have 2weeks of 2 other people's work on top of my own

Fleurchamp · 30/03/2015 09:42

I am with you mountain I have so much to do, I know it won't all get done and so I am now in a state of paralysis.

My secretary has called in sick. Predictably so. She works Monday -Thursday one week and Tuesday - Friday the next. So, the way easter falls she feels she "loses" the benefit of the holiday weekend (she doesn't, her holiday is calculated each year so that she gets 5.6 weeks off regardless of when the holidays fall). So bloody annoying, she does it every time.

gaggiagirl · 30/03/2015 10:35

I'm in the waiting room! Eek! Apparently I have to see the consultant as I will be 'shared care' because I'm old! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

RPopz · 30/03/2015 10:50

Haha gutted ga! Good luck with the scan!

Hope it all goes well La - I love a good premier inn Grin

gaggiagirl · 30/03/2015 10:56

Everything is fine. 12+4. So that was correct and there's only one in there! I am just fat!

batfish · 30/03/2015 11:16

Yippee gaggia glad all is well. How old are you?? It's hilarious what they class as geriatric in terms of maternity!

My scan is on Wed and still nervous, could not feel less pregnant! None of my jeans will fasten but I've been eating like a horse so that's not surprising. Boobs even look fairly normal today!

mountaingirl01 · 30/03/2015 11:21

fleur how unprofessional! These people drive me nuts.

gaggia hahahaha but also yay! Later than you thought too? Picture please!

bat stop worrying! Even whilst feeling sick I'm still not sure there's a baby inside me...symptoms don't help, don't wish them on yourself!

Purpleball · 30/03/2015 11:24

Hurray Gaggia. Are you posting a pic on facebook group?

Aargh to Monday's! I couldn't get a blood test done last week and I'll get bollocked by diabetes consultant tomorrow if I don't so I got up early to the hospital to queue, only I got 10 mins away and realised I'd forgot the form. Then I had to pay £2.50 to park and queue for test, only for them not to have started on time. The hospital is half an hour away so it was 10am before I got back.

Also realised that both consultants want a wee sample tomorrow and I only have one wee pot so I'll have to go down to the GP and get another later. Hoping I can do a big wee in the morning Smile
I don't think they'd be happy about sharing Hmm

I'm exhausted already, is it nap time yet?

Fleurchamp · 30/03/2015 11:25

Yey ga! I also need to see a consultant (my appt at 16 weeks was out back to this week) - I thought it was for my fibroid but it turns out it's because I will be 35 and a few days on my due date - which apparently is ancient for having your first baby Confused

Good luck la

RPopz · 30/03/2015 11:56

Great news ga! Grin

Is it 30 where you class as a geriatric mother nowadays?? I was certainly the oldest woman on my postnatal ward (29 Shock)

willywallace · 30/03/2015 12:19

I was 35 when I had this one. Does it not count if it's your second? I thought 40 was the age these days. How old are you Gaggia?

Can't you get rid of her Fleur?

Aren't 'up to one month' quite similar in size to newborn? We used them for six weeks and would have probably done a bit longer if it wasn't for the medical issue. I think it's enough to have about six bodysuits and sleepsuits and a cardigan or two.

Medical people - is it ok for babies to want to sleep all the time? My first wasn't like this. After half an hour of being awake she's trying to go back to sleep. Even after a two hour kip.

LaLaLaaaa · 30/03/2015 12:39

Hooray gaggia!! Would love to see pic.

Does mr ga believe it now?

Training going well but just had text to say my sil has lost her baby :( I feel terrible for her and also awful because I was being grumpy at her getting pg quickly :(

ZylaB · 30/03/2015 12:43

Over 35 is 'old' I was 37 when I had H :)

Yay for good scan pis

purple I don't think you'll need to fill the pots! Grin

Fattycow · 30/03/2015 12:45

la, I'm sorry to hear your sister's news, that is so sad.

gaggia, yay for a good scan!

Our playpen just arrived. I cannot wait to put it together and have the pretty blanket in it. But I suppose I should wait until DH is home before I open the box...

LaLaLaaaa · 30/03/2015 12:46

I'm an 'old mum' because I'll be 35 when I give birth. It's silly - I'm the youngest in my baby groups

Pisghetti · 30/03/2015 12:52

I was 35 two months before EDD but no one called me old except DS

I'm not pg again Zyla Grin not yet anyway......

Purpleball · 30/03/2015 12:55

Oh La that's a shame about your SiL but no need for you to feel guilty

I've rung the midwife to make an appt for next week. I've also booked my 20w scan in so its before our holiday.

batfish · 30/03/2015 12:56

Oh no la that's so sad, I'm so sorry to hear that Sad

Unfortunately there is also another loss in the October group Sad Sad
