With our swamp fanjos and supermarket jobbies it's all going on in our knickers. It's a wonder our men agree to deliver the prostaglandin injections but then we are the 24th Just Shagging Grads!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 24th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is herein its 41st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs herefor once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oh la Confused
Dulcet we're off for 5 nights, so yeah, mini break. Hanging around the airport at the mo, and chuckling to myself that I'm reading such filth in a public place and no one knows!

willywallace · 29/03/2015 13:59

Jeez they really don't pay any attention to us do they? Hope it all goes well La.

Boo the answer to his question is 'Yes - nappy change/get you a drink/clean the kitchen' (delete as appropriate).

Tee although I have stated my dislike for the subject - those lamps are frigging awesome.

gaggiagirl · 29/03/2015 14:36

Just bought a new bra.....again.....34G!!!!!! It was £4 from the big Asda I dont care if it falls to bits or I heaven forfend outgrow it for that price. Its got a jazzy pattern on it.

Pisghetti · 29/03/2015 14:39

DP is being marvellous. Although he lacks a sense of urgency. I like to change BabyPis between boobs as she screams the place down during changes so the second boob settles her down again but this morning I had to gently prod him a few times as he offered to change her then started writing emails while she was busy wondering why the mouthful of pyjama she'd latched onto wasn't giving her the good stuff. I can't complain though. I've had a shower everyday and always have a drink to hand.

The condom of ice sounds like it might be nice for pregnancy/post natal poos... External use only though!

MrWil is actually being great too. But it took the baby arriving for it to happen.

Ice I have no issue with, but thawing poo? Just no.

Purpleball · 29/03/2015 15:36

I'm having a bit of pregnancy related anxiety and hoping all you experts can help:

How often do you see your midwife? I've only had the booking in appt.
should I be having more appts, I'm 14+3 now and seeing the antenatal consultant on Tuesday for the first time. Will the midwife contact me or should I be contacting them?
Also should I phone and make my 20 week scan appt or wait for them to contact me? We go on holiday when I'm 20+2 so I want to make sure it's before we go.

willywallace · 29/03/2015 15:44

I think it varies between locales Purple but think my first mw appointment after booking was 15/16 weeks - got scan inbetween obviously. We get our scans booked for us and just get a letter telling us when they are but no harm in phoning up to check what happens where you are.

Purpleball · 29/03/2015 16:00

Thanks Wil

LaLaLaaaa · 29/03/2015 16:21

Hi purple I have to book my own midwife appointments - when I booked in she gave me pink notes where it states at how many weeks each appointment should be. 16, 24, 28 (I think), 31 and so on. Repeat bloods (and anti-D if needed) is at week 28, scans at 12 and 20 weeks. I just phone surgery and book with receptionist.

teejayem · 29/03/2015 16:39

I have a bit of both purple - 16 wk midwife appt was booked for me at hospital after booking appt and my 28 week consultant was done at the same time.
At my 16 week midwife told me when I needed to have my next appointments but I had to call community midwives and do this myself as hospital only want to see me for consultant stuff, not regular midwife stuff, until term plus five I think.i was surprised how much organising you need to do yourself!

RPopz · 29/03/2015 16:54

I guess it depends where you are? I didn't have to do anything. After booking in at 6 weeks I had my scan at 12 weeks, then didn't see mw til 16 weeks. Then had my 20 week scan, mw apps every 4 weeks until 34 weeks and then apps every 2 weeks til birth.

gaggiagirl · 29/03/2015 17:48

I have to arrange my 16wk appt after my dating scan and obviously (see facebook) I'll be precisely ALL of the weeks pregnant at my dating scan tomorrow at 10.30am!!!!!!!!!!!.
purple that's defo when the midwife should see you next though 16 weeks.

Purpleball · 29/03/2015 19:27

Thanks lovelies I'll ring the midwife tomorrow and make an appt for 16 weeks

I've no idea what the consultant is going to say on Tuesday. Bit nervous about it if I'm honest

ZylaB · 29/03/2015 19:38

purple if it's anything like mine they'll probably check your sugars and that everything is fine from your record book, talk to you about the fact you'll probably not be allowed to go past 38 weeks if induced (and 38 or 39 for CS depending on hospital). Don't worry, as long as your sugars are fine, which I'm sure they are cos you know what you're doing, they'll be happy :)

Purpleball · 29/03/2015 19:45

Thanks Zyla, I'm seeing the diabetic consultant immediately before too. I've been keeping things under control so hopefully it's all good

batfish · 29/03/2015 19:49

How funny after the frozen poo conversation - just read a tip about putting condoms full of water (that's water, not wee) in the freezer that you can put in your knickers after giving birth, seemed like a funny coincidence!

ChatEnOeuf · 29/03/2015 20:28

Goodness me what a weekend of chatter! Having seen or heard of most things...up there...not a lot surprises me anymore, but the poo thing Shock

Good luck for scan Ga, will this be the moment MrGa starts to believe you or is he there now?

I muddle up Star Wars and Star Trek Blush

We've had DD's best friend from home over this w/e (and her parents) - much excitement, I really could have done with several large glasses of wine - insight into a life with twins who have ADHD I reckon...exhausting! They had a wonderful time together though, which was amazing to see after so long apart.

ZylaB · 29/03/2015 20:31

purple to be fair, my consultant didn't have much to do for the first few months, she checked scans and bloods etc, but just kept telling me she was happy until my bp shot up and pre eclampsia hit!

gaggiagirl · 29/03/2015 21:00

chat I think he believes me because of the bump but he will only be 100% convinced post scan.
viroids why do I have an obs consultant appt at 14 weeks? It came through the post. I'm most confused by it. I wasn't consultant led last time and have no health issues that I'm aware of. My bloods haven't been done yet so its not because of them. Any guesses?

PixieChops · 29/03/2015 22:41

If it's any consolation Im 7 months pregnant with a boy but have a DD whose only 10 months old. We are fully trying to ignore the fact that I am pregnant and due soon. Otherwise I think me and DP will probably have a mental breakdown and start hyperventilating a lot! My bumps not hard to hide either to be honest (still in my size 10 jeans) and just wear baggy shirts and don't stand sideways on. Simples! We are bricking it.. In fact I feel quite light headed just talking about it now!
Change of subject- im not married, not engaged either (you'd think popping out a couple of kids would credit a bit of metal on ones finger but nothing as of yet!) Id love a viking/ pagan wedding (otherwise known as a hand fasting) DP not arsed but wants to get married abroad. I think I'll need two weddings in all honesty. I don't do sci fi either, much rather watch Game of Thrones or anything to do with ancient times where people have their heads cut off!
Never heard of the poo in the condom before- that's a new fact for the day! Ive never really had the urge to stick anything up my arse, if I'm honest it's hard enough trying to get things to come out!
My first midwife appointment was at 16 weeks, then 20 week scan, 25 weeks and this week will be my 28 week appointment (you do get less appointments though if it's your second child and you didn't have many problems the first time around-I kind of did but I do have a consultation booked for the end of April to discuss a planned c-section) not looking forward to my appointment on Wednesday, it's a lot of faffing around getting pricked with pointy objects- whooping cough jab plus blood tests Confused. Don't forget to take some pee in a pot!

splodge77 · 29/03/2015 22:47

Blimey, I turn me back for two seconds & the Fred is full of umbrella-up-the-jacksy and Frozen-poo-dildo talk. You guys rock.

DP and I cannoooooot agree on a middle name for this kid. Maybe we just won't bother in the end!

Went to Pilates yesterday & two girls at same stage as me we're also hobbling about like old grannies - relieved it's not just me finding these last weeks hard going. Sleep is the only answer. Night night everyone.

deeplybaffled · 29/03/2015 23:18

gaggia - maybe they've mixed you up with someone else? That said, my community m/w told me that I would be seeing a consultant at my 20 week scan and i have no idea why...maybe they get lonely and want company??

having a hormonal day today. DH decided at the last minute -ie coat and shoes on and outside - that it was too late to go out for dinner and he'd rather eat in. Nearly burst into tears, despite the fact that he was right, and i hadn't actually been that bothered until that precise moment whether we went out or not. Meh.
think it is tiredness -work been crazy and not been sleeping well. Have ordered a dream genii and hoping it does the trick - la, was it you who rated it?

LaLaLaaaa · 30/03/2015 06:13

Morning! Up early and away to give 4 day training course. So knackered - worked on it all weekend. Terrified!

Will post tonight from my favourite premier inn (who don't bring pancakes to room service)

ZylaB · 30/03/2015 06:46

Good luck la I'm sure you'll be fine, I have faith in you! ;)
