just been to new look and got two pairs of really comfy skinny mat jeans for 40 quid... cant complain really as I would have spent that on fags this week if I was still smoking

twinky12 · 13/02/2015 18:45

Haven't checked in for a while, was really poorly with cold and cough.

Had a private gender scan today, confirmed boy. Cant update stats though as I'm on my phone.

Ah the size and food chat. Have been told I'm massive by several ppl now. I'm 8lbs more and 17 weeks. Pretty annoying and insensitive. And yeah I stay away from the daily fail 2.

Fattycow · 13/02/2015 21:41

La, I couldn't find it, maybe you can? I think your skills with technology are more advanced!

Clstow · 14/02/2015 11:30

Happy valentines! Thanks for all the jeans recommendations- going shopping next week and can't wait to have more than one pair that fit!

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/02/2015 12:09

Just picked up 2 pairs of maternity jeans, a maternity cardigan and a pack of 3 newborn sleepsuits in M&P sale for £28. Bargain!

JoY007 · 14/02/2015 12:14

Happy valentines Ladies and Bumps.
DP informed me this morning that we are away for the weekend now trying to quickly squeeze in a mani and pedi, how I love surprises whoop whoop!

Hope everyone is having a lovely time today xx

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 14/02/2015 12:20

How lovely JoY! We have my dad visiting so not much romance going on here but DH made me a full English breakfast (although this happens every weekend!) and has booked for me to go for a pregnancy massage at the Lido in Bristol Smile

Fleurchamp · 14/02/2015 13:06

Not much romance going down in the Champ household today.

Breakfast in bed swiftly followed by an emergency trip to the dentist (ouch!) and now I am out shopping alone for DH's birthday present!

We don't really go in for it, just exchange cards, as it's so close to DH's birthday and our anniversary (10 years!)

Great bargain got to be

Have a lovely time joyxx

broodylicious · 14/02/2015 13:28

joy, it was me with the 1/85 chance of ds baby. I can't deny it's shaken me a bit but we will continue with the pregnancy as this is still (hopefully) a live and kicking bubba and needs love and care just like any other. Done lots of reading up and have a consultation on Monday so just trying to relax and enjoy the moment.

We don't do much for valentines day here. We are so in love every day of the year and have just had a super five days away with our little lady so haven't subscribed to whole overpriced, commercial stuff that's related to today roses and chocolates wouldn't be thrown away though, dh, just in case you're readingWink I've bought a yummy m&s tea that I'll do as a surprise when dh is putting dd to bed later.

I may have made my first baby purchase this morning, despite saying it's still too early Blush A little matching set of vest, trousers and bib from TK Maxx, plus a little vest that has a Facebook type profile on the front. Loads of great stuff in their clearance bit which I couldn't go through properly due to impatient dd Confused

Ceejay14 · 14/02/2015 15:36

My valentines gift was a surprise scan to find out the sex early, and it's a boy!

Fattycow · 14/02/2015 15:38

twinky, I put in your baby's sex for you.

Grin my ds made his dad (my ex dad to all two and a bit kids) buy me chocolate today! love that kid. his reasoning was that valentines day is for people you love and he loves me, and his dad loves him so his dad had to give him the money to get me a present!

jmojo · 14/02/2015 15:53

fattymc you have a well trained son!! Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 14/02/2015 16:11

Fattycow · 14/02/2015 17:39

Darn, so annoying! Ah well, I suppose I will just keep changing it back whenever someone does it.

Hey ladies. Had my sexing scan today and we are in the blue team! X

MsRyanGosling · 14/02/2015 19:04

Exciting stuff the sexes coming through now!

What do you have already number3 ?

I have 3 DS this will be DD#1. Sounds weird typing that after saying DS for so many years Shock

Zampa · 14/02/2015 19:45

Happy Valentine's Day!

I love exchanging cards and can't wait to make one for DP with the lo in a few years' time.

MuddyWellyNelly · 14/02/2015 22:04

Is everyone going to find out the sex? We aren't even going to decide until the end of the scan, once we (hopefully) know things are ok. Most of our friends have advised us not to find out.

Fattycow · 14/02/2015 22:23

We haven't found out the sex. We do not want to know anyway, and imagine the shock if they get it wrong. It does happen: I know this couple who were told it is a girl, bought everything in pink, loads of dresses, cute name for a daughter and then she was born with a penis and turned out to be a he! They had no name for a boy, so he is now stuck with a name that they had to think up at that instant (you only get 3 days to register over here).

Hi all!

Back with insomnia so thought I'd catch up on here

Congrats to all those who have found out sex of babies :) seems we have a lot of babies in the blue team?

We had 16 week scan and third sonographer to state our identical twins are boys. This time he zoomed into twin A's clearly visible boy bits... Cue DH blurting out " oh wow you have two little penises inside of you"BlushHmm luckily the team present thought it funny!

It's all starting to feel a lot more real now. Bump can not be covered any more! Although I have had comment on my bump being tiny for twinsHmm

Also think I may have felt one/both of them kicking me/moving tonight. It was a sharp jab upwards from bump straight into my ribs. But not too sure if 16+6 is too early.

Hope you've all had a lovely valentines!

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 15/02/2015 07:10

Fatty that is why we're sticking with gender neutral clothing despite being told it's a girl Smile. We did the same first time round as I always had in my head that they could have been wrong. Not a big fan of pink anyway and I knew people would buy us girly stuff when she was born so we stuck with white and neutral. It also meant that whether it's a boy or a girl this time (we've been told girl again) we've still got all the neutral newborn things from before.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 15/02/2015 07:13

Muddy I didn't want to find out first time round but DH did. Like you we didn't make a decision until the end of the scan and then decided to go for it. We have found out this time. I loved knowing but can see why others don't want to find out. I'm glad we found out with DD as it was such an exciting experience and when she was actually born, after 48 hours or labour and no sleep, they could have told me she was a gremlin and I would have just said 'how lovely' in an exhausted daze so think it would have been an anti climax for me! It's a completely personal decision.
