Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

blank and memphis after breastfeeding two babies I went from an A to slightly shrivelled less than As. Not my favourite feature but DH couldn't seem to care less, he's a hips and thighs man, which helps me not care too much. Also currently more like a perky B which is fun for a while.
Memphis I've heard it isn't the breastfeeding but the pregnancy itself which wears out and changes your boobs long term, would you say there's any truth in that? Or by not breastfeeding have you totally avoided the shrivelling/expanding/sagging adventures?

Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 12:48

Honey last time my boobs went from a DD to a G when pg then up to an I cup when milk came in, I used creams on my boobs while pg and was told it helps to let milk go quicker if you dont touch them around day 5. On day 5 they errupted I didn't let a shower touch them, dh fed ds that day and I wore a support vest instead of a bra and by day 7 they were going down, by day 12 they were back in a DD!
Totally back to normal no loss of volume, sagging or anything. Even the burger nips went away quickly! I didn't even leak a drop I did get the ache when in the ward when babies cried but that was it.
I am using the cussion new mum bust serum as it was recommended in a fashion mag for being fab even for non new mums just hoping I am as lucky this time. Although I hate my boobs and would love little ones if they were sagging I would probably have them lifted

Jen I am not sure if you have seen it but a great thread is on the childbirth topic a lady wanting info in induction. She was induced at 38 weeks, mostly positive stories and hers was amazing 12 hours from gel going in she gave birth in the pool!

WhyOWhyWouldYou · 07/01/2015 13:36

Re boobs mine went from a b/c cup pre pregnancy, to a DD by mid pregnancy, to E when I was breast feeding, and down to D/DD afterwards.

This time prepreg was still D/DD, by mid point I'd gone to GG, I think they've grown again (wearing stretchy sleep bras because I couldn't find a comfortable normal one). Rather hoping they don't stay bigger after feeding this time - they are too darn heavy.

Minichuch · 07/01/2015 14:08

I cannot wait to get normal nipples again - mine absolutely kill if they get too cold - it isn't easy to keep them at an optimal temp this time of year - contemplating breast pads as an extra layer of insulation

WhyOWhyWouldYou · 07/01/2015 14:58

mini I'm sorry to say my nipples stayed more sensitive to the cold after DS, not quite as bad as they are in pregnancy but still a bit too sensitive.

Minichuch · 07/01/2015 15:09

Why - that is definitely not what I was hoping Confused

Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 15:43

My nipples are normal (not sensitive at all but then they never normally are)
Goodness as a child I never thought I would be discussing nipples and boobs like this Grin

My newest 'symptoms' this week are hair has gone greasy and I have spots on my bottom Blush apparently normal as thr baby is sucking every bit of goodness from me

BanglesSpangles · 07/01/2015 17:44

Evening boobie ladies
freakishly busy day at work today. 17 days to go!

Think the bump must be having another growth spurt as my stomach muscles are screaming!

OP posts:
Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 18:03

My bump is really hurting tonight, baby isn't as active as normal but he is normally more active in noisy places and as im alone its quiet, I am not sure if I should be worried or not, feels like period pains but not like early labour argh hate making decisions

longbottom · 07/01/2015 18:50

Had such a busy day at work :(
My boobs went from a DD to GG when my milk came in, I looked like I'd had a boob job! After I stopped they just looked and felt empty. They are big and full at the mo, hope they stay like it but not hopeful!

jenmcspen · 07/01/2015 19:26

Thanks for pointing out that thread memphis Smile was reassuring that not all inductions are hideous!

Am wondering when to go and get a nursing bra? Anyone with any advice/wisdom?

Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 19:31

Jen one size down on your ribs (if you have had to go up on the band during pg) and 2 cups up on boobs

jenmcspen · 07/01/2015 20:26

Well as pregnancy has graced me with 34F bras, I think it is going to be another visit to Bravissimo!

Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 20:39

One of those has just opened near us, dh said he will treat me to new bras once I am 'back to normal' after baby is born....he also promised me money for a new wardrobe for my birthday....im not sure he realises how much these things cost! Grin

Well these pains in my belly sre still here and not going away like period pains a bath hasn't sorted it and baby is moving fine, rang MAU as im a bit worried she seems to think its things starting, I doubt it but glad she wasn't worried something was wrong

jenmcspen · 07/01/2015 20:56

How far are you now memphis?

longbottom · 07/01/2015 21:05

Ooh isn't that exciting Memphis?!

Visited a client at work today with a newborn baby, he was so scrummy and smelt amazing!! I cannot wait now!
Jen I had the gel to get things started with DD as waters broke and she had pooped. I had gel at 6pm and had her 5.25am. DD was back to back but I had no assistance and did it on gas and air. Spent about 25 minutes pushing.

Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 21:12

Jen I am 37+2 I am pretty sure it will just be aches from me sitting on my arse too much today.
Im a tad scared in case it is the start of something dh is quite a way from home and I feel a bit worried being alone in the house

Bangonthedoor · 07/01/2015 21:29

Wow memphis keep us posted Grin

Although try not to worry Thanks

Honeybird · 07/01/2015 21:30

As you say Memphis probably nothing just yet or maybe a very slow start... I had a couple of false starts. Keep us posted though!

DH is just telling me how convinced he is that he can't cope with watching me give birth again, I think it completely traumatised him. But he tends to pull through at the last minute, and if not my oldest friend wants to be there with me. She would probably be more useful.

Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 21:39

Honey I doubt it would turn in to anything either I think I am just bricking it in case it is and My house needs cleaning! Grin
My first birth traumatised my mum but dh has selective memory, I wouldn't mind if dh didn't want to be there nice that if your dh bailed at last minute you have a friend who can step in

Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 22:14

Pain easing off now in bed with hot water bottle

Bangonthedoor · 07/01/2015 22:17

Glad all is well memphis Smile get some rest ....if you can!

BanglesSpangles · 07/01/2015 22:26

Ooh exciting stuff, memphis! (Well, maybe!!)

Pleasing times at the bangles house- bathroom furniture is built, and new posh towels are in situ Grin. So thats one room done out of the three we started decorating in september!

OP posts:
Memphisbelly · 07/01/2015 22:28

Ooh bangles a soak in the bath and a flushing toilet again! Nothing like new towels either! Which room is next?
