Mine's on Monday too. I will be 8 weeks exactly.

Linseyd · 27/11/2014 21:10

thats cool misseskimo i feel terrible too starving hungry and sick as well as unbelievable tiredness thank god its friday tomorrow xxxx

BlazeofLight · 27/11/2014 21:23

Sarky thinking of you. Hope everything is OK.

Butler4 · 27/11/2014 21:32

Hope all is well sarky. I had brown mucus and went to epu and had a scan and all was well. She told me they only really worry if you fill a pad an hour with red blood but if you are ever worried to phone them. They were really helpful.
Had my booking in appt on Tuesday, had blood taken and asked loads of medical questions. Didn't make the pregnancy feel anymore real. Mw said I will feel different after 12 w scan when people know

Pipbin · 27/11/2014 21:37

My booking in isn't until the 22nd December.
That's nearly Christmas, which we all know is ages away Wink

itsnotthatdeep · 27/11/2014 21:41

my booking in is Tuesday too I'll be 10 weeks by thenShock

misseskimo · 27/11/2014 21:45

I obviously spoke too soon. Just wiped after toilet and got bright red blood... Conbine that with how I was feeling today and last night and now I'm super paranoid. Rang the EPU and they've told me to take paracetamol, wear a pad and if it gets more than "just a wipe" then to call back. Otherwise call at 9am tomorrow and they'll try get me in for an appointment tomorrow afternoon. Which is a pain as I live almost an hour bus journey away from hospital and DH can't take anymore time off work to take me :-( gonna be a long night

Sarkymare · 27/11/2014 21:48

Hello all

(Long post so I will start with saying that everything seems well)

What a bloody malarkey that was. I went to the centre the NHS phone woman told me to go to. The receptionist Said they have no equipment or staff for that Kind of thing and that they can check my blood pressure but would then have to send me to urgent care for anything else. So we just left and went straight to urgent care.

Saw two nurses within two hours. Both did the same things ( BP, temp) Both asked the same things yet I was no closer to finding out what the hell was going on.

Finally got sent up to the gynae ward where I was seen by two absolutely lovely ladies. Within 30 mins I had been examined via speculum and a 50 watt bloomin light bulb! then she did an examination by hand ( well finger to be precise)

Cervix is closed and she couldn't see much if any blood. She didn't get a good look though so I've been booked in for a scan on Sunday before we go home. But she seemed quite confident that all was well.

All your messages of support made me all blubbery again! In a good way of course! Thank you so so much for your kind words. You ladies are amazing!

Leela5 · 27/11/2014 21:51

Aww that sounds positive sarky fx it's all well and it was just some old blood :)

miss fx it's all ok for you as well. Honestly, pregnancy is so worrying!

WantToGoingTo · 27/11/2014 21:55

Such good news sarky I was waiting to see your follow up post! Glad all seems well

Fx for you miss such a worrying time I hope the bleeding stops Thanks

OP posts:
Sarkymare · 27/11/2014 22:01

Oh no miss Flowers

As we are due on the same day, perhaps both of our bleeding is due to a period being due or something?

Fingers and toes crossed that you also get a good outcome x

itsnotthatdeep · 27/11/2014 22:10

fx ladies

and fab news sarky

as this is second time round, I promise it gets less worrying and more fun ladies xx

Supershiv1 · 27/11/2014 22:15

misseskimo I had a fair amount of bleeding at 11 weeks last time (including what looked liked chopped liver) but ooh told me to 'pad up and cross my legs as there's not much they can do at that gestation'. Ruddy horrible. DS1 is here though.

laspalmas hello you Wink, welcome!

EskiDecaff · 27/11/2014 22:18

I had my booking in the other day. I just had to pick which hospital I wanted then lots of paperwork for that. It took about an hour but I'm not sure why!

Sarkymare · 27/11/2014 22:19

While I'm here I wonder if any of you know anything about protein in your urine? My sample came back as 3+ for protein but nobody elaborated on what that actually meant.

Pipbin · 27/11/2014 22:23

Oh Miss. This is all so damn stressful.

misseskimo · 27/11/2014 22:35

Thanks for your support ladies. Just had a shower and DH is going to dry my hair for me in a min as fx that usually helps relax me.

sarky glad everything came back ok for you, fx the scan will show everythings good also [smile maybe your right on the af thing, I worked it out a min ago and it is about the time I'd normally be due, so fx thats all it is. Doesn't stop us worrying though does it!? I'm trying to coax my kitten over for a cuddle atm. She's such a happy kitty and massive purrer you have to smile

Pipbin · 27/11/2014 22:43

Miss How many weeks are you?

Sarkymare · 27/11/2014 22:45

You just gotta love pet cuddles! I've got the dog literally sitting on my lap. He's not a small dog either. He's a huge heavy bearded collie Grin bless him.

headlesschicken247 · 27/11/2014 22:48

Can't do it now but whoever starts the new thread can you put the stats link on it so it's easily accessible :-)

headlesschicken247 · 27/11/2014 22:48

Oops and meant to say miss and sarky fx for you both x

misseskimo · 27/11/2014 23:27

pipbin I'm 7+4. Had a scan at 6wks which was showing baby and heartbeat, but I know that can mean nothing until 12wks

sarky I have two fur babies Birmans, 18m & 3yrs. They both love cuddles and the older loves to lay on you during cuddle-time! All of her 4kg hurts me atm, so I can't imagine how a collie would feel!

TouchPauseEngage · 28/11/2014 06:09

Sarky I have a collie/dalmatian who loves to share the armchair with me. He is a big lump but thinks he's a jack russel Grin

Glad that everything went ok and fx for scan!

Pipbin · 28/11/2014 07:14

Sarky. Glad it all sounds ok and they put your mind at rest.

Miss. How are you feeling this morning?

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is googling mc statistics and paranoid at every wipe.
Honestly - I was ttcing for 4 years and this is so much more stressful

broodylicious · 28/11/2014 08:15

pip, step away from Dr google!!! No good can come of an appt with that GP Wink Mc is incredibly common and usually it is just down to horrid, awful bad luck that baby isn't quite wired right for life on this earth. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy...Hmm
