Hello all had a go at a very naff name! Hop across!

sarky when are you home? Have you had your booking in yet? Could you ring your own docs/mw for advice?
I very much doubt they will do anything to be honest if you went local - unless you are in a lot of pain. Brown blood means old blood so don't panic yet.

Number I'm trying to hold out, as I don't want to constantly be at the blooming Drs. Seems almost like a jinx considering it was only yesterday afternoon I told the Dr I'm OK now, just a bit of discomfort here and there! To quote a friend... #rookiemistake Haha. I'm hoping it will ease off, but if I get it again tonight I will ring the Drs tomorrow for another checkup.

three That's interesting! I got a book from Tommy about prem babies just in case, but almost everywhere I'm reading says your at a higher risk if you were one yourself... My two younger sisters were both induced as they were so late, and were big babies. So not sure what went wrong with me

sarky Are you away for long? And do you have any other symptoms, or just the blood? I'm just opening my Bounty app as I'm sure I read something in there about brown blood...

Good luck with 111 sarky I've just read it says if it's without pain, then it shouldn't be anything to worry about, and that at this week in pg it could be to do with your first "missed" AF since becoming pg... But does say that any "flow" of blood, i.e. not barely noticeable spotting should be discussed with Dr/mw

Yep no pain at all. But then I had no pain with my previous MC so it's still worrying.

NHS seemed concerned that I have pain in my shoulder. Nothing major but a niggle. She said I must go to the walk in centre within two hours. DP is back now and explaining everything to his mum then we're going

sarky sending you lots of positive thoughts. Everyone's already said what I was going to say - brown could be old blood. They'll have asked you about shoulder pain as that can be symptom of ectopic but as you say if it's just a niggle it could be completely unrelated. Hope you can get checked out soon and that everything is ok. Fx xx

If it was me (and I may get flamed for this!), I would be laying it on really thick and maybe even exaggerating your symptoms a bit to try and get an early scan. I've been in your shoes and you will not rest until you know that all is well. Lots of luck x

PS if it's any help there are plenty of women who have a bleed at the point we're at, it's quite common. I really hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about and they can put your mind at ease

Sarky I saw the midwife this week and she said if I couldn't get hold of her then I should ring the maternity ward at my hospital and they should give me details of the midwife that's on call. You could try that for the local hospital there? X

After being sick constantly for the last week I seem to have got over it a bit now and hoping my hormones are starting to settle. I'm still sick a few times a day and it's a very quick 'run' to the toilet and my appetite has come back do you think it's normal for my sickness to calm down? I'm 8 &1 going from early scan or 8 & 4 going off actual last af. Xx

Ibelieve - (I realise the thread has moved on somewhat!) The reason I had an early scan is because last one was ectopic, so at higher risk of further ectopic. There is no medical reason for early scan following miscarriage, (other than to confirm dates) which is why you weren't offered one. Shame, as there are plenty of non-medical reasons why an early scan would be helpful in those situations. Sorry it's left you worrying for longer.

sarky I have no advice, except I know I would want some kind of reassurance and so would go to nearest EPU (and I hope it's not in my NHS trust ).

I just overheard my mum telling my auntie 'well she's eating like a horse so that must be a good sign!'

the flea situation is really getting me down im camped out at my mums in a huff my poor mum has been fabulous bless her doing all the hard work

I feel less tired and less sick but ive gone completely off meat again its a texture thing I think

looking forward to the midwife on Tuesday it will make it so much more real

ive got my booking in tuesday anyone else had or due theirs xxx
