I can't be the only one due in May 2015... So here goes, a shiny new thread.

I have to sneak in here to discuss all things pregnancy/baby related because this is a surprise DC5! Shhhh! Don't tell anyone!

Did another FRER

No sign of Bleeding though so I'm not going to stress myself out I'll just pick up some more tests and do another tomorrow if all stays the same. False negatives happen but false positives don't.

SuperDuperJezebel · 28/08/2014 09:14

But of bleeding this morning, feeling hopeful but anxious.

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 28/08/2014 09:22

Keeping everything crossed for you

KittyVonCatsington · 28/08/2014 09:41

What colour is the bleeding Super do you have any pain and is it just spotting rather than full flow? It is quite common for women to spot a little bit due to hormones. Thinking of you as I know how scary it is to see Thanks

NoRoomForALittleOne · 28/08/2014 10:17

Some bleeding is quite common in early pregnancy. I'm hoping that you are OK and this is just a blip.

I think 'they' need to make women more aware of just how common bleeding in early pregnancy can be and what the warning signs to be concerned are. Spotting and even a 'light period' are all perfectly fine and can still lead to a healthy pregnancy

Are anyone else's guns feeling weird or just mine?

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 28/08/2014 10:21

Gums not guns

ElisaGirl · 28/08/2014 10:30

Hello all, can I join too please? Got my BFP yesterday after a very faint positive (so faint I really didn't believe it was there) and then confirmed with a FRER and CB dig. My EDD is 5th May and this will be our first! My DH and I currently live thousands of miles apart and had decided not to try until next month when I move to join him. But despite the distance, it only takes one go and so it did with us...... am in complete and utter shock, and mildly terrified! Smile

SuperDuperJezebel · 28/08/2014 11:12

It was a pinky red colour, only when I wiped too scared to check again. Having quite frequent cramps as well, not feeling particularly positive. Out for the day with 3 small children (work related) so trying not to dwell and hope for the best.

acemay · 28/08/2014 11:48

Wow Elisagirl, congratulations!

Fingers crossed for you Superduperjezebel.

KittyVonCatsington · 28/08/2014 12:21

Congratulations Elisa! Great news Grin bet you can't wait to see DH in the flesh!

Super - I've just been for a number two and has some red when I wiped. Don't think it came from my vagina and still have sore boobs and feel sick. Panic sets in doesn't it though and am lying on sofa with feet up. Am only 4 + 5 so prepared for worst. It is apparently very common after bowel movements and this is not how my last mc started so FX!

bradders85 · 28/08/2014 12:56

Congratulations to the new bfps! Super - hope everything is ok with you, could it be from implantation? I am slightly concerned today as my boobs have stopped hurting and I feel completely normal.....which is making me more worried!!!

SuperDuperJezebel · 28/08/2014 13:08

I feel almost normal too, compared to last few days of utter exhaustion, which worries me, but my friend assures me it's my mind playing tricks, that it wouldn't change that suddenly. There doesn't seem to be a lot of blood but almost constant cramping. DP rang me earlier and I burst into tears in the museum exit. Going to put my feet up soon and have lunch and a rest and hope that helps.

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 28/08/2014 13:38

Welcome to all the new people!

Cramping can be good and a sign of your womb stretching out

fififolle · 28/08/2014 13:47

Ididn'tseeit you could be talking about me!
AF due 26th, tested with cb digital fmu mon 25th got 'pregnant 1-2 weeks'. Mega sore boobs, nausea etc. I've had some spotting but had exactly the same with DS and put it down to short luteal phase.
However...I re tested with Lloyds pharmacy test wed pm- got with v feint line or -ve???
Re tested this lunchtime with cb, got v feint line and am now a bit worried.
My dates would give me the same due date as you.

KittyVonCatsington · 28/08/2014 14:00

Is it a blue dye test fifi? They are not good for strong lines. Even if not, some test brands have different dye strengths so could be nothing. I have always rated a First Response Early Result. Could you get one of those?

fififolle · 28/08/2014 14:52

Will try that, thank you x

fififolle · 28/08/2014 15:10

It was a blue due test, sorry

bumpitybumpbump · 28/08/2014 15:24

Yes me, hurrah!!! I think due on 2nd May but as I can't remember exact day of last period there's a spread of due dates! Got my bpf on 18th, did two tests that said 1-2 weeks pg. baby no. 2 for me and so excited to be going through this again! Just hoping the crippling nausea stays away this time Confused.

Sarahg1 · 28/08/2014 15:29

For those of you with cramping, I've had quite a lot of cramping this week and also had a couple of bouts of upset tummy so have seen/spoken to a couple of Drs who all said that cramping is fine unless it's really serious (in my case I was in agony, but because it disappeared after a really unpleasant bowel movement it was definitely linked! Sorry, grim!) so I wouldn't stress about cramping.

My god this is so stressful, I was convinced I'd be totally cool with all this and I'm utterly not.

I've just booked in a private scan and was aiming for exactly 7 weeks but could only get an evening appt at 7+5. Don't think I can wait another 3 weeks 4 days for some reassurance that it's all still poodling along ok. Would actually welcome some proper symptoms, all I've had is some mildly stingy nipples and what feels like mild period pain.

Gaah! Hope you ladies are less neurotic than I am haha x

KittyVonCatsington · 28/08/2014 16:57

Thanks Sarah-that's really helpful to read your experience. I seem to have been very similar! I'm just so so scared of going to the loo and sods law I seem to need to go every hour! I'm cramping too but I keep trying to second guess if it's like AF or not. I gave back my two urine samples to the GP Surgery this morning and tested both with my own tests in my bathroom and technically, still very much pregnant! At this stage, I hope I get to 7+ weeks for a private scan

Let us know how you get on with the FRER fifi xx

KittyVonCatsington · 28/08/2014 17:09

Welcome bumpity! Congratulations! Thanks

fififolle · 28/08/2014 17:55

Just for you Kitty thanks for the advice. My fixed grin has now returned.
