Just had my booking in appointment. It was ok. She seemed a bit strict at first, wasn't at all interested in changing her provisional edd based on my LMP, despite the fact I've had 2 early scans which put me at 9+1 rather than 10+something. Anyway, she seemed to mellow as we went along. Due to my anxiety issues she has put me down as having consultant-led care. She's referred me to the caseload midwife team, so I'll see the same midwife throughout, and has also got me an appointment with a consultant at the hospital who specifically deals with mental health during pregnancy. I'm quite comfortable with all that. The whole process terrifies me so I really feel like I need my hand holding!

now bleeding :((
passed a couple of clots about the size of a 5p piece and a bit more blood than just 'when i wipe'.
waiting for the epu to call me back.......

Am terrified!

was just starting to think at 11 weeks it was looking ok.

Thought I'd join in with the scan pictures - had mine yesterday afternoon. Apparently I'm a week ahead of where I thought I was which puts me at the 22nd of Feb!

Am bleeding this morning. A few clots passed - about the size of a 5p piece.

Waiting for EPU to call me back...... taking forever!!

am stuck at work at the mo and phone is about to die - hoping to get it charged whan i leave in 20 mins. Sods law epu will call and phone will just go!

bit bored, last day of a 2 week contract and the only day i'm not stood talking and teaching (they are all doing a test!) so all the time in the world to be thinking about it all and it really is doing my head in. Can't even have a good cry (which i really want to do!) as have a classful of teens! :(

Currently going to the loo every 20 mins! This is so not good. Will call EPU back soon as i've dropped the kids off at 1 - just in case, i'm in a really bad signal area as well.

Sorry to go on..... bored! Trying to take mind off it.... only just discoverd that i have access here to mumsnet (not normally allowed on social networkings in a school but for some reason where email and facebook is blocked mumsnet isn't - guessing the clue is in it's a school!!)

safra I think that might just be your cervix taking a bump. Try not worry. Can you go round nearby classrooms and see if anyone else has a charger? Hand holding! X

safra hope you're ok. thinking of you...

i had my scan today and i am relieved to say it all went well. bubba is looking good and nuchal fold measurement was 1.6mm so well within normal. i was petrified. just waiting on blood results now but i haven't felt this happy for weeks. so thankful that i've passed the dreaded scan milestone. the sonographer was great and really managed my expectations after i quickly explained that the last few scan experiences i'd had were bad ones. told me why he was being quiet whilst checking measurements etc. thought i was 12+1 but am 12+5 so due date now 1st march.

Still no call back. Waiting for ds to be picked up at 2 then contemplating a&e?? Still passing small clots and changing panty liner every time I wee (don't use pads so have none!) no cramping at all - taking as a good sign. I swear if all IS ok I'm not having sex again till next July!!! :)

Safra, I think as m33r says it could be your cervix, especially with no cramping or pain. I think if it were me and id had no call back by about half past is go into my maternity unit, if I still couldn't get anyone is go to a&e but I know with the maternity unit where I am you can walk in and ask to be seen, you might have to wait but they get to you and youre I'm a safe place.
Hoping everything's fine :) don't panic yet.

safra yes go to A&E if EPU haven't called you back yet. No cramping is positive so fingers crossed for you.

hey guys, haven't been on for ages!!! i'm 10+3, scan 2 weeks today, going to be the longest 2 weeks ever!!

just wondering if anyone elses symptoms have gone down, not feeling anywhere near as sick as i have been and can actually eat things other than bread lol (even ate some green yesterday lol)

boobs are barely hurting although still a fair bit bigger still (they were excruciating the last 2 weeks couldn't even touch them let along hubby lol)

then my bump (well what i thought was a bump) has gone down. had a scan at 6+3 and everything was absolutely perfect, date, size and heartbeat but since then i have had tonsillitis and been on penicillin so am just panicking all that has effected it! no bleeding or anything (and we've sex a couple of times this week - also diff from previous weeks) just the usual panic i think,

just wondering if anyone else was feeling a bit more normal??

budda I've felt a lot more normal. A bit nauseous very occasionally but other than that, have moved away from pasta and butter to normal dinners. Same with bbs - never had any issues and theyMre only a little bigger. I think / hope its normal. I'm 10wks today and not had any scans. Also, do still get bloated at night time but that's it; nothing like what it was.

What about others?

Oh and budda my scan also two weeks today. Away next weekend and would rather just stay home and watch time pass.

My symptoms have calmed right down now too except for the breathlessness at times, still feel yucky now and again and at night the tiredness hits me hard but feel human all day long!

Forgot to update you all yest, had a reassurance scan yest and all went fine but been out back 4days so I'm 9+5 instead of 10+2

Epu called. Not an emergency unles severe pain and/or soaking thru 2 maternity pads an hour. So told not to go to a&e as they won't do anything. Scan bought forward a day to Monday morning. Gonna be a long long weekend. :(

thanks ladies, just think i'm being paranoid, last week was whinging now am missing them - i still konk out at 10pm everynight on the sofa!

safra - have everything crossed and (i'm sure not reassurring in the slightest) but it is a good sign they have said that it is not an emergency!!! try and keep yourself busy this weekend xx
