Hello ladies, bit of a latecomer but can I join please? I thought my due date was early April but after booking in appointment yesterday the midwife has put my EDD at 23rd March, so I've come across from the April group. Haven't read through all the posts but hopefully I'll be up to speed soon. Safra - sorry to hear about your uncertainty at the moment but no pain is a good thing.
I'm sure I join many of you when I say I've had horrible nausea and sickness for over 3 weeks - I wish it would calm down a bit! Work is a struggle and I feel like a terrible parent to my toddler - we haven't even been out today!

DurhamRed · 22/08/2014 16:38

Hi all, I'm now 10+1 weeks and my morning sickness did ease off for a few weeks, though the past 2 days it seems to have returned again. I'm hoping it eases off again soon!

I still have sore boobs and tiredness but can cope with them, it's the vomiting and nausea that's really getting me down. I really don't want to end up in hospital again :-(

M27J5M · 22/08/2014 16:41

Welcome twitt!

I've just been reading 1 of my wee app things and supposedly week 10 is the worst for ms :/

NotAQueef · 22/08/2014 16:43

12+6 here and the all day constant nausea is abating though will still catch me unawares at random times
it has been replaced with uncontrollable retching and vomiting of bile/mucus in the mornings. This is exactly what happened with DS and went on til 20 weeks so I don't hold out hope for it going any time soon.

Have any of you noticed an extreme increase in mucus (sorry!) in nose/throat? I hadn't noticed it creeping up as have been snotty for months with blimmin hayfever, but I now have a constant lump of phlegm (which tastes and probably smells rank) at the back of my throat Sad this is what makes me puke each morning.

tis a glamorous business being pregnant Wink

junkfoodaddict · 22/08/2014 17:25

I was terrible with symptoms from 5-7 weeks but over the last two weeks, they eased. I am 9+4 today and the dreaded nausea and tiredness returned. My belly doesn't feel as big so the last few days have probably been down to my insides shifting and relaxing a bit.
I got my scan date today. Monday 8th September at 2:10pm so I will be exactly 12 weeks going from LMP but I have a feeling they'll bring my dates forward by about 4 days.

persepolis123 · 22/08/2014 17:28

Welcome Twittwooo. I am due the same day as you and there are a few others too!

I thought it was this weekend that my midwife was supposed to be visiting me for my booking appointment but I haven't heard from her. Text her this morning but nothing. I know she is on holiday either this week or next so I've probably got the date wrong and it's next weekend. Getting anxious I'm going to be well past 12 weeks before I have my scan. Booking in will be 11 weeks and I'm going away at 12.5 weeks so if they can't fit me in then I will have to wait until I come back which would make me 14 weeks. Not happy.

theonewiththenoisychild · 22/08/2014 17:34

safra hope you are ok. maybe just bumped your cervix. it happens to me a lot in pregnancy. always worries me tho

Twittwooo · 22/08/2014 18:28

Persepolis - it's good to have a due date buddy! Of course it might change when I have my scan in three weeks. My cycles have been really short since having DD, going on pill then coming off so that's why I was a but unsure of dates. Hope you get your scan at around 12 weeks too. x

Safra72 · 22/08/2014 19:21

Didn't even get to the weekend :(

Had a gush of water in asda of all places, blood followed so took off to a&e and currently having a mc. Surprisingly not as physically painful so far but emotionally obviously horrific.

Keeping me in overnight. Big sister is here with me (came for a weekend visit - good timing, so glad she's with me)! dh will come later when they transfer me to Lincoln hosp.

Thanks for all your kind words. I wish you all happy and healthy pregnancys and babies. Sorry to have to leave such a lovely bunch if people. Take care all and xxx

fishfingerSarnies · 22/08/2014 19:23

Oh, so sorry for your loss safra. Hope you have lots of support and look after yourself.xxx

bouncesky · 22/08/2014 19:26

Congratulations to everyone on all their scan news! I still can't quite believe that the bouncing, somersaulting baby we saw on the screen is inside me and I can't feel it! We are going on honeymoon end of september/beginning of october so I have been given my date for the 20 week scan today! Rang them up and they said that as soon as you have had your 12 week scan they pencil you in for your 20 week scan they just don't send you the letter until nearer the time! So I have my 20 week scan on October 8th! We will have been back from honeymoon for 4 days, so finding out what flavour we are having will be an exciting start to married life.
Safra - I hope you are okay.
Twittwooo - welcome to the March board! There are a few of us who have had our scans this week who have been moved to February dates but we've all asked to stay here as it's a great group!

I'm so sorry to hear your news safra. Your message was not showing on my screen when I sent my earlier message saying I hoped you were okay. Look after yourself and I hope you get lots of support from those around you.

arob100 · 22/08/2014 21:44

Safra so so sorry to hear your sad news. I had my sister with me during a MMC earlier in the year, best support ever obviously DP was there but nothing beats you sister in the end.

Hello to all the newbies!

I've also lost most of my yuckie symptoms, boobs are still massive and heavy and really tired but the constant feeling of about to be sick has passed... Hopefully. Tho in the back of my mind it's still a worry.

Anyone have really sharp pains when the sneeze down below???

12+4 today and 20 week scan on the 14th of Oct seems so long away.
