frenetic - woohoo! Here's hoping it lasts!

Davidtennantmistress · 10/07/2014 16:29

tori; i'm so sorry my lovely. please take good care of yourself.

botoms - ahem, yes I ahve for several weeks now been suffering so much so I am now using the upstairs loo in work after collegues have mentioned the ewwww im not going in there Blush

I have queasiness all day today but not as much as before. have booked in with m.w for next tues so 8 weeks.

I wanted to ask my doctor as well about bacterial vaginosis (I have it and had AB's for 7 days but actually only managed half of the course, 1 tablet per day after physically vomitting) after seeing the heart beat does anyone know what the chances are of MC due to BV?

Davidtennantmistress · 10/07/2014 16:31

ooh and if we have pink (I have two boys currently) I shall be making soooooooo many dresses it's unreal, pink and lemons no trousers all dresses.

is it bad that although I'll be over the moon with a live baby after my m.c's deep down knowing this is our last I really really would like a girl?

Bimberley · 10/07/2014 16:58

Can I join. Due around 2nd feb. 10+3 today. Nausea that comes in waves and lasts around an hour. I can't move in that hour or I will vomit!
It's slowly getting better though. I'm off so much food and extremely tired however much I sleep. I do have DD 4 and DS 2 though so no chance of nap!

Memphisbelly · 10/07/2014 17:18

Davidtennants I plan on making dresses too if we have a girl we have a great fabric stall here and a customer made baby dresses with ice lollies on it was so gorgeous, I am more a skulls and Batman kind of person.....regardless of gender they will have Batman Converse!

freneticfox · 10/07/2014 17:19

Welcome Bimberley!

I've actually had a nice day; been to see a friend who has two toddlers and they are both adorably well behaved - can I place an order for any like that?! ;)

I feel like I'm just waiting for the evening nausea to set in, fingers crossed it either doesn't or isn't as intense as it has been, don't think poor DH can take much more of my nightly grumps and tears. Pregnancy is SO glam.

So sorry to hear of people's losses, you are in my thoughts and I hope you have plenty of real life support.

Had another scan today and it was lovely, 10 weeks and the twins look like babies now! They couldn't determine what type of twins yet as the placental sites aren't visible but they definitely think they are identical!

Unfortunately the sickness has left me badly anaemic and with low blood pressure. At least this explains why I feel so rotten. Still being quite sick throughput the day but dare I say it seems a tiny bit better than last week.

Memphisbelly · 10/07/2014 18:36

Frenetic I am sending you vibes for a sickness free night Grin

Tonights ooh how exciting! So lovely to read. Will be nice to hear the fortnightly scan updates.

donkir · 10/07/2014 20:30

Davidtennant I also think I might have this and have googled. Best site I found and not too scary was the Nhs site. Very slim chance of problems happening. Bit more of a risk if you've had previous complications. Def check with doctor though.

LittleMissSunshine33 · 10/07/2014 21:12

Tori so sorry for your loss! Take care of yourself and take time!

I've really pulled something in my stomach when I did PE today! It's hard having to think about everything now, lifting things, eating, moving it's hard not to do things in my job I know I've got to be careful but until I'm big I don't feel I have an excuse! Shock

freneticfox · 10/07/2014 21:41

Why is it our brains mess around with us? I currently don't feel nauseated, which is VERY NEW for this time of night. My boobs also don't kill.

So obviously my brain is on red alert >.

Memphisbelly · 10/07/2014 21:49

Littlemiss We may not have massive bumps at the moment but this is the time all of our ligaments and muscles are softening.

Frenetic that is very positive that you aren't feeling sick tonight. It is sich and odd feeling though relief thst you don't feel sick but then wondering why you don't feel sick...this was me 3 weeks ago!

Dh has come home tonight we got a chinese and I was sick after eating, wonder if its just a bit too late for me to eat.

freneticfox · 10/07/2014 21:56

I think it's just because my dating scan feels like SO long away (6th August). That to me feels like an awfully long time for things to go wrong. Screw this brain, seriously.

I'd definitely recommend NOT eating Chinese too late, don't know if it's the MSG in it, but it always upsets my tummy if I eat too late.

Memphisbelly · 10/07/2014 22:56

Frenetic thanks for the tip, I crave noodles and sweetcorn constantly both seem to have made me ill today.

My scan is next Weds, time is ticking on now, I need new bras I have what look like bruising/blood blisters due to being constricted by the last bra I can get on.

bellaboo88 · 11/07/2014 08:48

Frenetic, I think I got your dose of ms last night :-( don't like it, you can have it back thanks! Xx

freneticfox · 11/07/2014 10:15

Oh no bella, that's rubbish :( Have you been back to your GP? Maybe they can try you on something different? x

Memphisbelly · 11/07/2014 14:48

Someone touched my bump arrggghhhhh! I know her and it caught me so much by suprise I forgot to chinese chop her hand away, I just made a silly giggle and scurried off! Then I dropped dd at nursery and the staff were all 'whoa look at that'

I also went to Asda and bought a massive bra, it looks like I could wear it as a hat! Will go somewhere next week and get some more but I needed an emergency boulder holder.

freneticfox · 11/07/2014 16:24

I've still only had one bump-touch (excluding DH who can do whatever the hell he likes, :P). Get the feeling it's not something I'll tolerate well.

Got myself some Cart D'or Eton Mess ice cream. I can't wait to dig in, it looks UH-MAZING.

blankfornames · 11/07/2014 17:17

Frenetic, that icecream sounds Defeckinliscious!! I had to settle for an orange spilt instead! I'll have to hunt that one down and empty the freezer in preparation of a massive stock up! Grin

pillowaddict · 11/07/2014 17:19

I'm feeling so tired today, had a meeting that involved a train journey and sat next to loo while weighing up the balance between the smell making me ill and the need to be close incase of emergency retching! ! Yuck. Worked from home this aft and lay on couch trying not to sleep. I would like some energy back please!

GeekyHybrid · 11/07/2014 19:01

Hi guys, well we're still chugging along. pillow I know what you mean about energy levels though mine do seem to be gradually improving as the ms is wearing off (she says hugging a tree!). Littlemiss I've been getting painful 'twinges' that feel like pulled stomach muscles for weeks, generally when I sit / stand up funny or if I cough, gets so I'm scared to move at times but it does pass quickly. I think it is as Memphis says, just our ligaments adjusting in advance of the more visible growth. Really got to try and get motivated to do some ironing :-( We're actually running out of clothes. Yeesh.

Memphisbelly · 11/07/2014 19:48

Ooooh frenetic ice cream sounds delish, a new itslian ice cream parlour opened locally today they have 50 flavours of ice cream, I am going tomorrow!
I am really tired today, wrapped ds's presents had family round, put ds bed and now need to take all his presents downstairs, pack for our night away, look on tube map and see where on outskirts of London I can park all day...then sleep. Leaving at 8am but need to drop dog off, do breakfast and open about 50 presents before we leave!

freneticfox · 11/07/2014 20:05

I've never had Italian ice cream, memphis, but I hear it's meant to be amazing. We went to Budapest back in March, and they made ice cream in the shape of flowers. Also tasted amazing.

Another fairly good day in terms of nausea, but lack of breast pain in addition to this is still a bit jarring. MW said unless I'm bleeding there's no reason to scan before my dating scan in August, so will just wait and see I guess.

I have been overcome with tiredness quite a lot today; I've had to take regular naps to avoid passing out with exhaustion while on my feet. Taking that as a good sign!

Frenetic my boobs stopped hurting when the sickness passed so try not to worry, they are just massive balloons now Grin

freneticfox · 11/07/2014 20:19

I'm consoling myself with Eton Mess ice cream.. It's actually the most amazing thing I've had in my mouth. Ever.
