Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Between 7-9 you will see a kidney shaped bean, nearer 9 you might see little arm and leg buds. I think 5-7 you see just a tiny bean - often these scans are transvaginal as nothing can be seen via the abdomen

Please – does anyone know any hayfever medication that is safe to take? My hayfever is usually bad, but manageable with anti-histamines, but since my bfp I’ve not taken any and am struggling with being woken up in the middle of the night and being so itchy/sneezy I can’t sleep ?

Just had a letter confirming my 12 week scan appointment :D Changed doctors when I got my BFP, everything was a battle with my previous doctors (trying to get DS his 1 year jabs was a nightmare!), and new doctors seem to be on the ball!

Still feeling ok, but wiped out by 8 and in bed by 930 every night this week. DP being a star and dealing with DS when he wakes.

How is everyone? SOrry I can not help with hayfever meds. I seem really well today which worries me. This is the first time in my life that i am really wanting to start throwing up. Had a bit of a dodgy tummy this morning, think it was because of what I ate last night (pizza at my sisters and I have quite a sensitive tummy), and that has worried me. Roll on tomorrow and fx for some more queasiness.

queef scan is 20/8, so at 12+1. I'm pretty sure of my dates this time, last time I didn't have a clue, and ended up having 2 12 week scans and edd shifted several times within 2 week time frame.

Feeling like I want to get on with it now, have a mw appointment, a scan appointment, pregnancy notes...

I spoke to the midwife yesterday when she called to take my history and she confirmed I would get an 8 week scan, so just waiting for the letter now. 5 weeks yesterday, so hoping it will be the first week of the school holidays so there isn't any awkwardness in getting the time off.

Feeling 'not pregnant' still and a bit worried about lack of symptoms. Apart from incredible tiredness and smell,I wouldn't believe those BFPs were true.

There seem to be a lot of people on here who already have toddlers, how are you coping with the tiredness? I just want to drop to the floor asleep. And I know it's too soon but I'm wondering about double buggies.

Ah bouncesky I feel for you. I am enjoying a duvet day but will have to face work on Monday.
I have a constant dull cramp in my lower abdomen and don't know whether to be worried as it's been there several days now. Anyone else cramping a lot?

Hi everyone! Can I join? I'm 5 + 1 with #1 EDD 5th March. Feeling very excited but very nervous also as have been trying for a while!!

Main symptoms so far are sore boobs, starving all. the. time. and soooooooo tired! Bit crampy on and off too, which worries me a bit!!

Haven't told many people yet, so will be nice to share experiences!!

Hi notoast I'm actually in Austria now, here you go to your gyn rather than a midwife. She was really nice though and just did the scan along with my regular checkup.

You really didn't see much - a you said just a tiny bean - still kind of exciting even though it doesn't look like anything. It kinda reassured me a bit though that I really am pregnant as am still not suffering with any real symptoms yet although I think that may be changing... felt weirdly hungover this morning (not had a drop to drink in 6 weeks!) and am constantly hungry

I know what you mean pink I'm feeling quite impatient and can't wait for time to roll forward 6 or so weeks - that's when it seems to start to get more involved - can also then finally tell ppl!

Just booked my booking in appointment - not till the 29th July but no point having it sooner really. We only have one mw and one day of appointments at our gp surgery so thought I'd better be organised as they won't book you in for your scan till after your booking app

Also shattered and so glad it's Friday :)

brisgirl I'm cramping. Seems to be sometimes if I suddenly stand up or stretch backwards it's like I'm pulling on something in side me. And then at other times just for no reason at all. Had them badly on Monday night. Couldn't get comfy. But they seem to be settling. Just feels like there is just something going on in there. But I suppose there is. I don't like it but apparently it's normal.

mrsw for me I went to the nurse and she has put me on the midwifes books and I'm now waiting for a call from the midwife to get an appt. It is all quite daunting isn't it. This is my first and I just want to see the midwife so I know everything is ok and so I can start telling people. My dh is going away with work (again) on Monday and I probably won't be able to speak to him at all which is horrid so I really rely on this group.

Just getting up from a 3 hour 'nap' before I head out to dinner with all my old university friends. Driving so luckily they won't wonder why I'm not drinking.

Does anyone know when the first scan is? I'm going away for the week with loads of people at 12+4 I'd really like to be able to tell them then.
