Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

bounce do you have midwives at your surgery? Can you make an appt with them?

mrs I'm also Essex! How funny! I'm on the 'closer to London' half now, but grew up in the 'closer to the sea' half!

Mrsw123 · 05/07/2014 07:58

Littleturkish Due date twins and essex twins!! Smile I'm in the close to suffolk part, although I work in the close to london half!!

Littleturkish · 05/07/2014 08:04

How funny!

To be exact, I'm in the reality tv show part- with huts made of sweet materials just on the highstreet. It's actually a really lovely town, you just have to ignore the hen parties and teenage girls taking selfies outside every third shop!

notoasthere · 05/07/2014 08:06

I'm in North Scotland - probably as far away from Essex as you will get ;)

Mrsw123 · 05/07/2014 08:09

Ahhhh I like the wood that is Brent! I work in billericay, so just round the corner!

Ha ha yep, Scotland is pretty far! Wonders of the internet tho, eh? Grin

Littleturkish · 05/07/2014 09:42

Ah ha! Just around the corner mrsw that is very funny.

Scotland is about as far away as you can get without having to cross some water!

FoscarC · 05/07/2014 10:04

I live in Salisbury area during the week, as that's where I work, but marital home is high Wycombe area.

I have been having cramps a lot and they worried me so it's good to know its a good thing. It just feels like something's going on down there. A bit like burrowing I suppose. Or stretching. But I'm also very bloated and windy. Very sexy indeed! My lucky husband!!

bouncesky · 05/07/2014 10:17

The receptionist said I had to first see a GP littleturkish, I did ask if I could go straight to midwife. Think it will all seem a bit more real once I've been to doctor!
I

Justpickagoddamnname · 05/07/2014 12:40

Hullo, I am due on the 8th march. Can I join?

bouncesky · 05/07/2014 13:11

Welcome justpick! Is this your first?

Popsicle30 · 05/07/2014 13:23

Right I think I've lurked for long enough. I got my BFP on the 24th June but was tentative to post because it still doesn't seem real. But numerous pregnancy tests and IC tests later they keep saying positive :-). This was my 5th cycle after having my coil removed so very pleased.

I rang GP surgery and they gave me the midwife's number. She has booked me in for 16th July for booking in appt.

This will be our first and edd is 4th March 2014. So I'm 5+3.

notoasthere · 05/07/2014 13:48

Welcome justpick and pop - I don't feel like it's real either at the moment!

NotAQueef · 05/07/2014 14:20

Just lost a big post and too tired to type it again Wink
welcome all newbies - we're getting to be a sizeable group now.
fourmonths my ds is also starting school in Sept 2015.
I live in Essex too, Colchester to be specific, been here 3 years.

V happy as have finally found some hayfever treatment i can take -prevalin! Silly pharmacist yesterday sold me something which specifically said not for pregnant women. Was really annoyed as he supposedly checked in his 'book'.

Hope everyone's ok.

I lived in Colchester for 3 years. Loved it. But left a few years ago now.

pinkandstripey · 05/07/2014 16:34

Welcome justpick and popsicle :)

I lived in Colchester until I was 18, great place to grow up. Now in Milton Keynes, planning to move to East Midlands.

queef when pregnant with ds I got a cold, a pharmacist refused to sell me anything at all, including strepsils!

notoasthere · 05/07/2014 17:09

Had to raid ds's snack box at the peppa pig show today to stave off any potential loss of breakfast - will be sure to pack a mummg portion from now on!

bouncesky · 05/07/2014 17:12

Oh that's funny notoast! I'm needing regular snacks too. Otherwise start feeling sick and stomach makes the most loud noises, it's embarrassing!

madasacatter · 05/07/2014 17:54

Hi pink, i'm in milton keynes too!

can I add my details to the list please?

This will be my 2nd and I'm due 10/3

thetraah · 05/07/2014 20:22

How is everyone feeling?
My belly seems to inflate to twice its size every evening and feel so bloated sigh

notoasthere · 05/07/2014 20:29

Ooh thans traah we are slowly but surely growing in here! Don't speak to me about the bloating - I'm ok until lunchtime then my tummy gently expands till I look about 6 months gone!

FoscarC · 05/07/2014 22:06

Me too! I wake up normal sized then expand throughout the day. Have had to unbutton my jeans tonight. Also burping a lot. And needing to eat all the time.

fourmonthstogo · 05/07/2014 22:57

Ooh well done and thanks traah! I've just realised that I too seem to be expanding throughout the day. How was p p notoasthere? We're off to see what the ladybird heard in august. Notaqueef, do you think your ds will be excited about having a little brother or sister ?I'm hoping dd will be and that she'll take it all in her stride!

Brisgirl · 06/07/2014 09:01

Morning all! How is everybody today?? Had a nice long sleep after spending all day at a wedding yesterday. I thought I did quite well with my sneaky pretending-to-drink-but-not-really-drinking :)
All of my symptoms seem to have disappeared so not feeling nauseous or crampy or anything and now worrying about that!! Is anyone else still symptom free?

ZylaB · 06/07/2014 09:20

My cramps seem to have stopped bris

ZylaB · 06/07/2014 09:21

But I am still having my random low blood sugar levels, which the nurses have told me is a symptom when you're type 1 diabetic.
