Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

I hadn't actually made up my mind what to do about having another DC... Well there's a decision I don't have to make!! :D

No symptoms yet, more tired than usual but nothing major. Last time I wasn't sick, but was completely wiped out for a few weeks in the early days.

Congrats to everyone on here Thanks

notoasthere · 02/07/2014 05:41

Morning ladies

It was a before 5am start here today - I can see first tri tiredness being hard work with a toddler who likes to be up with the larks!

So I'm 4 weeks today - symptoms wise I have more than last time with nausea, tiredness and sore boobs. Oh and I'm bloated already - I'm going to have to do something to hide the pot belly!

We are planning to have an early scan too at around 8 weeks - it will be my 30th birthday so seeing the baby will be a lovely treat!

bouncesky · 02/07/2014 14:12

Can I join?! Had a bfp today, had been ignoring the fact that I was 8 days late. So due date is about 3rd March. Was not trying, so a complete shock today! Clear blue says 3+ weeks so hopefully all okay.

Brisgirl · 02/07/2014 15:43

Hi all, can I join in. Had my first BFP on Monday and hopefully due date is the 7th/8th march. Exited but very nervous!!

FoscarC · 02/07/2014 18:12

Hello (and hello again notoast). Can I join please? BFP on Monday. Went to see nurse today. Due 2 march. I am tired. Very tired! Bloated by end of day and sore massive boobs but less sore than they were. Have been getting cramps but they seem to be settling thank goodness as they scared me although everyone says its normal.
This is my first. I know nothing! Honeymoon baby. Didn't really expect to get BFP straight away so we are over the moon. But slightly nervous. Want these 12 weeks to be over (I'm just over 5 weeks now), not telling anyone until after scan if I can keep my mouth shut

thetraah · 02/07/2014 18:52

Congratulations to all the new BFPs who joined since I was last here.

We're not really telling anyone until later - 12wks? Although I did tell a friend who has just moved to the States and my DH had a lil slip up at work. He was saying he'd be in trouble for working late and a colleague said "c'mon it's not like she's pregnant" and well... my DH's face said it all Shock. She's from another dept and she's been sworn to secrecy so we hope word won't get round just yet. Meeting my best friend tomorrow though & - it'll be hard to keep quiet...

Also found it very hard to not look out of place last Friday as it was DH's brother's bday and we went out with friends. Everyone was in their cups and also buying me some drinks which my DH kindly drank for me Wink. They were also super at the bar and whisked me up some safe virgin cocktails for me which I could actually drink and looked the part.

Still not suffering from any real symptoms yet and must be crazy for saying this but also wish I had some symptoms so it felt more real... Confused

Ginger I'm sorry to hear that and wish you all the best!

ZylaB · 02/07/2014 19:36

Congrats to all the new bfps:)

notoasthere · 02/07/2014 19:37

waves foscar

We've ended up telling our respective parents tonight - I feel so rubbish already that I'm going to need some help with ds at some point in the next 8 weeks till I start to feel a bit better again!

FoscarC · 02/07/2014 20:47

One born every minutes about to start! It will have a whole new meaning this week. Eeeek!

lazzzyg · 02/07/2014 22:20

Evening ladies, I am also due in march, around the 6th I think. We just found out on Friday and haven't really told anyone yet (just my mum and a girl in work). I'm soooo nervous at the minute though. trying to stay positive, think ot must be like this for everyone. oh and this is my first pregnancy as you may be able to tell!

congrats and good luck to you all. x

FoscarC · 02/07/2014 22:38

lazzzyg so good to know I'm not the only
Nervous / excited one.

3littlewomen · 03/07/2014 05:29

Morning ladies.... Got my bfp Sunday, due 6/3.... Excited but a little bit nervous as my last pregnancy ended in an early miscarriage (7 weeks iirc).

However, pregnancy is high risk as I almost certainly will have severe gestational diabetes - was on insulin injections last time, but thankfully am good at controlling the diet etc..

Perhaps I ought to add this will be DC6 Blush so am well experienced at the birth thing - both nvd (well with induction) and c-sections. All going well, this will be another section.

Am living in Ireland, so slightly different antenatal care regime, and can't wait to tell the siblings.....

Welcome to everyone and enjoy!

notoasthere · 03/07/2014 07:01

Hi 3 welcome!

Woken to a little brown spotting when I wipe - I KNOW it's normal but it's still scary. I had it with ds at around this stage too but that's doing nothing to quell my nerves at the moment

Brisgirl · 03/07/2014 08:39

Woken up feeling a bit sick this morning...oh dear here we go! Flew half way round the world with work last week just before I had my bfp and due to fly back to the UK tonight so feeling quite nervous particularly as can't take my usual travel sickness pills. Can't wait to be home though and celebrate properly with DH.

notoasthere · 03/07/2014 08:54

Hope your flight goes ok bris

FoscarC · 03/07/2014 10:42

3 wow!! 6 children!!! You will have to tell us newbies everything! I know nothing. brisgirl, I also felt very sick this morning. Woke up fine, had breakfast, got to work, and then after about half an hour it suddenly hit me. I felt awful for about an hour, but its gone again now. notoast, hope it all settles, and hope you are OK and not feeling to worried.
I need to go and do some work now. Must concentrate but all just too exciting and too much fun stuff to read and try and learn about.

madasacatter · 03/07/2014 17:22

Hi ladies, is it ok to join in? had my bfp on Monday and honestly not 'feeling any different' yet but my boobs are massive!

notoasthere · 03/07/2014 18:18

Fergie11 · 03/07/2014 19:09

notoasthere · 03/07/2014 21:08

Hi Fergie same edd as me. Hope this is a sticky one for you

Fergie11 · 04/07/2014 05:44

Thanks notoasthere, I'm getting an early scan at 7 weeks so I'm going to keep a low profile till then x

thetraah · 04/07/2014 06:07

Great idea notoasthere added my stats:

notoasthere pregnant with #2 edd 11/3
thetraah pregnant with #1 edd 3/3

Had a very early scan yesterday at 5wks - went for a routine checkup and they offered a first scan - so had my first glimpse at our lil dot Grin so exciting! Going for the first real scan at 9 weeks - can't wait!

notoasthere · 04/07/2014 06:11

the how exciting! Are you in the UK? I have a private early scanned booked for 8 weeks

ZylaB · 04/07/2014 06:33

I've got to have an early scan, weeks 7 to 9 cos I'm diabetic, but these early early ones, what do they show?
