Hi,

Tentative post here - got 2 faint BFPs on Sun/Mon (period only due yesterday.
EDD seems to be between Feb 28 - March 1st depending on whether I use standard 28 day cycle or adjust to my 30 day one.
DC2 for me - DS was 8 days late so think I'm more likely to belong in the March club than Feb.

Will do another test in a couple of days to get the elusive dark line so I don't think I'm making it up

Hope someone else joins me soon.

Hi, can I join? Had my BFP on we'd evening, so EDD is 9th march, I'm diabetic so have already called the hospital to make appointments, and today saw my gp who filled in a form for midwife to call me, but I didn't get any pack, what's in yours purple want to know what I'm missing out on!

This will be our first

I have checked with lots of test so fairly sure, also getting some mild cramps, nice to have others going through the same, puts my mind at ease :)

Trondheim · 27/06/2014 20:20

Mild cramps here too. Glad that's normal.

I've been going through my diary from previous pg to see how much time I've got before HG rears its ugly head. Hmm

Gingerbreadlady1 · 28/06/2014 11:50

Hi! Congrats trond & zyla, it's getting chattier here Smile

Littleturkish · 28/06/2014 19:08

Hello other newbies!

So this pregnancy dates almost identically to my first 2 years ago, so I feel very similar to how I did then, if anything, more mild symptoms this time round, but a constant feeling of 'thereness' in my abdomen.

I'm not going to inform work (teacher) until after the 12 week scan in September, or maybe even try and eek it out until October half term if I can. Last time they weren't very supportive and I'd rather carry on being the favourite one for a bit longer before I return to 'the pregnant one who messes up the timetable'.

Has anyone else experienced really high temp? I did the day before I was due on. Worried at first but google tells me this can be normal and not necessarily a bad sign?

ZylaB · 29/06/2014 00:19

Just been tired, officially I'm due AF tomorrow, so hope everything's ok.

Purpletoes · 29/06/2014 08:03

Hi everyone

Hope everyone is good. The tiredness is a killer isn't it. Smile
I am finding it worse this time due to having 2year old ds to run around after so unlike first time I can't just come home from work and collapse Wink.

zlya my pack wasn't very exciting just the schedule that my surgery does and my maternity exemption forms which I can't send off till I have midwife appointment as none are signed!

Also the ever present Emma's diary! Grin

I had a family party yesterday which was supposed to be a picnic in park but due to weather was Ina pub so harder to disguise the non drinking especially as it was a craft beer pub! Not sure how many are suspicious now Grin.

Sunshine4444 · 29/06/2014 12:42

I'm getting a bit paranoid as I'm still feeling fine. Apart from feeling bloated there is nothing else not even sore boobs!

Is it still too early? Not wishing to feel awful but it would make me feel more pregnant!!xx

Littleturkish · 29/06/2014 13:48

I know what you mean, sunshine. How many weeks are you? I'm fine but just a touch crampy, moody and foul taste in my mouth.

ZylaB · 29/06/2014 14:28

My sense of smell has gone super sensitive now, it's weird! :)

Sunshine4444 · 29/06/2014 14:46

I am 5 weeks now, feel fine apart from wanting lemons!!!!x

Gingerbreadlady1 · 29/06/2014 16:40

Ladies, my tests are now neg so looks like I'm out. Best of luck to you all, wishing you healthy and happy pregnancies.

Littleturkish · 29/06/2014 19:11

So sorry to hear that, ginger. Take care of yourself xx

Purpletoes · 29/06/2014 20:08

So sorry gingerbread. Hope you get another BFP soon. Thanks

longbottom · 29/06/2014 20:37

Hi, Can I join? Got my BFP today, think I am due beginning of March.
This is my 2nd, DD is 5, so excited to tell her after the scan!!

Trondheim · 29/06/2014 21:37

Sorry to hear that gingerbread. May you bfp next time around.

Trondheim · 29/06/2014 21:39

I am not feeling noticeably more tired than normal which is weird as the tiredness was made me do a test on my first pregnancy. Maybe now I have a toddler I have much lower standards for what being awake feels like.

woodlandwanderwoman · 01/07/2014 10:32

Morning ladies, just back after a few days and so sorry to hear sad news from ginger and happy. Thoughts are with you and wishing you lots of luck for BFP again very soon.

All ok here, battling fatigue by trying to nap a little when DS does in afternoon but have some weird feelings cramps higher up in stomach this morning so am a little nervous and am going to put back to back peppa pig on take it easy today.

Hope everyone's feeling ok, I haven't had many other symptoms other than feeling generally nauseous when I haven't eaten / drunk water in a while and seeming to have an empty feeling stomach a lot. We are going to book in an early scan for peace of mind sometime around week 7 or 8 I think.

aquafun · 01/07/2014 11:58

Hi I got my BPF on Thursday and had it confirmed by the doctor yesterday, first ever pregnancy so a little overwhelmed!!! EDD March 7th

NotAQueef · 01/07/2014 12:23

Hi all.

Ginger – I am really sorry. Hope you are being taken care of x

My boobs are so sore! And tops are starting to be rather snug around my chest Sad. Still cramping a fair bit (therefore still on permanent knicker watch) but not too bone crushingly tired just yet.

Started to get the funny taste in my mouth the last couple of days (and still dribbling like a toddler) and a bit of nausea – feel like it’s just a matter of time before the sickness hits. Am I bad that I actually want the sickness to come? Will feel more real then I think, plus if like last time I’ll lose ten pounds before booking appointment which can only be a good thing! I am sure I’ll regret saying so v soon.

Have any of you told people in RL yet? We ended up telling DP’s parents (and by default his younger sisters) and my sister. Feel like it might be a little early –but if anything were to happen we’d tell them anyway.

Going to register at the doctor’s this week so can get a midwife referral (hopefully not to the one who lives next door to me).

Hope you are all well Smile

Hello! Can I join? BFP today at 12dpo, edd 11/3. This is baby #2 for us, our lovely ds is 19 months :)

pinkandstripey · 01/07/2014 15:35

Hi :) Can I join too? BFP yesterday, but had been ignoring the obvious for a few days lol EDD 03/03/15. This will be DC2, have one DS who's 14 months - this was a bit of a surprise....

Littleturkish · 01/07/2014 16:31

Pink and stripy- you're in a similar position to us, we've got DD1 who is 16 months and this is an earlier than expected pregnancy.

Notaqueef, I'm also willing on the proper sickness so I can feel more pregnant! We've got a long way to go yet, but I'm sure at this point last time I was really struggling.

Went to docs for UTI that I suspected after I'd had the same with the first pregnancy, and have called hospital. Think I'll get an early scan as I'm classed as high risk. Would be great to just have that- yes, it's ok, confirmed at 8 weeks. Just want to know it's going ok in there!

woodlandwanderwoman · 01/07/2014 18:25

Notoasthere, aqua and pinkandstripey congratulations!! And many congrats to all the BFPs who joined whilst I was away over the last couple of days, at a guess there must be over 20 of us now. Looking forward to sharing the journey with you all and am squishing up (whilst I am still physically small enough to) to make plenty of space for lots more BFPs joining us soon!

Queef I told one person but it's not a close family friend or member, more someone whose help I may need in a few days time so as people don't find out! All being well weare waiting until at least 8 weeks to tell family (planning early scan privately) and then probably 12 weeks to tell everyone else. But knowing me I won't be able to keep it secret for that long, I am well known for loving my Wine

woodlandwanderwoman · 01/07/2014 18:26

Turkish hope the infection isn't serious and you feel better soon
