I am totally knackered as well. I wake up hungry and go down to get an early breakfast then can't get back to sleep.
Had my 24-week check up yesterday and the consultant did a quick scan. Everything looked fine, big change from 20 weeks is that the baby has turned and is now head down! So not breech any more. Still seems I have placenta previa but plenty of time for that to move around.
He advised me to keep small snacks and water with me at all times now and get up slowly if I've been sitting/lying down.

Goats I'm 25+3 today and felt so uncomfy yesterday afternoon, seems to be OK in the morning though. Not even in third trimester yet so really don't want that to be a sign of things to come already!

Loulou888 · 17/06/2014 11:45

To be honest I've had a glass of red wine if and when I've wanted it. I've sipped it that slowly that it's probably taken 2 hours to drink :).

Tired here too and with the temperatures heading upwards (hopefully for summer) it's a sign of more tiredness to come.

My ds came off her scooter yesterday and grazed her face, hands and elbows (good job she had a cardigan on as that now has a hole in where her elbow is) poor chicken nothing I could do. I think she was enjoying all the attention at school this morning from her friends tho.

binkybunny · 17/06/2014 12:29

loulou I've got 9 weeks today until I finish Grin (and a week in the middle of that is holidays!)

binkybunny · 17/06/2014 12:36

Aargh pressed post, meant to hit return.

I seem to be constantly tired as I can rarely get a full nights sleep and then even when I do I'm awake at stupid o'clock! I'm really looking forward to finishing up so I can just nap when I need to. I hope we still have some nice, sunny weather in September so I can sit out in the garden with my feet up.

mum2kiss · 17/06/2014 13:08

14 weeks and 3 days to go for me!!!! I look so huge right now though dp doesn't think I'll be able to move in 14 weeks let alone work! In the last 2 hrs I've had 4 or 5 people say "not long now!..." or "major event is imminent for you then!". They look shocked and sympathetic when I say "no not until October!". I've seen a couple of ladies who are due within the next month and I seem to look bigger than they are! Crazy!

mum2kiss · 17/06/2014 13:08

Sorry 2 days not 2 hrs!

Loulou888 · 17/06/2014 13:32

mum can't believe how big I am either. DH keeps saying my stomach is huge! I'm like thanks!

Got a right sore achy boob today. Joys!

I've done hardly any work since being preggers. Hardly any due to sickness and now I'm just so tired. Income from me hasn't been great but then we must be saving due to the lack of alcohol in the house. Grin I suppose it would be different had I got to go "into work"

The kids have both got friends for tea, really could do without it but I suppose there will be a lot less tea dates when baby arrives.

Is anyone else feeling like their bump isn't growing? I'm probably just finding anything to worry about but people keep telling me how small group am and im not seeing any changes really. I worry he's not growing properly! Getting lots of movements though. 23+4 today xx

ohthegoats · 17/06/2014 14:23

Mine hasn't really kicked off until this last weekend - bump-wise I mean. Suddenly it feels enormous - it's quite preventative in the bending department all of a sudden. I'm wearing a pre-pregnancy dress today and I think that's probably it for now... need to wear proper maternity clothes. They at least are looser and make you feel less like you're just getting fatter.

ohthegoats · 17/06/2014 14:27

In terms of work, 23 working days until summer holidays, then 13 days after that in September if I get that far. Nice. Ooh, looks really good written down!

Thing is, I need to break up right now so that I can get on with project managing the whole house renovation thing properly. It needs to all speed up!

Kirstipops · 17/06/2014 15:04

11 weeks on Friday until I finish up for good, whoop!
We're having a belated Father's Day celebrations st my sister's on Saturday, hopefully the BBQ will be involved, and I'm going to treat myself to a glass of wine in the garden, yays!

ldt87 · 17/06/2014 15:23

How far are you goats? Xx

ohthegoats · 17/06/2014 15:45

25+2 today I think. I keep forgetting - they changed the date so much at each scan. But, between 24 and 25 weeks things went massive all of a sudden.

It's been weird with the bump though - I felt it was really small (or definitely hide-able) for ages - but then I'm quite roundy anyway, so even though I normally have a small waist, I still have big hips and boobs, so just by wearing 'not fitted' clothes, I've been able to hide it for a long time/been able to just look fat for a long time. Then suddenly it's gone pretty big and uncomfortable. It might be heat and work pressure that's making it uncomfortable to be honest though, rather than the actual bump.

What IS weird, is that I'm still wearing my same bras - nothing has changed in the boob department apart from nipple size.

mum2kiss · 17/06/2014 16:24

My boon size didn't change at all first time around until after Dd was born and my milk came in...

So yesterday and today I've been getting light headed around lunchtime followed by tummy ache and feeling puke. The tummy ache went on for hours yesterday so I am not amused to find that it is back today! What could.be causing it?! Something I'm eating? ! Who knows...

ldt87 · 17/06/2014 16:39

I'm not 24 weeks until thursday so maybe due a little growth spurt in the next few weeks. I would say I have a bump, but it can look bigger or smaller depending on the day and doesn't feel to me to be getting bigger and staying there lol xx

cabster · 17/06/2014 16:43

My bump has definitely increased in size since Friday, I'll be 24 woks tomorrow. And the waddling has commenced.

cabster · 17/06/2014 16:43

Woks? I could probably eat the contents of 24 woks right now. weeks!

Mrsthedog · 17/06/2014 18:31

Hi ladies! Long time no speaky!

Puppythedog tells me I am missing out since I jumped ship to Facebook so I am back.

Glad that everyone is okay.

I would like to add that I am very leaky at the moment. Leaky out of my eyes and nose and I am leaky in the bladder-sense.

Just leaky.

Bumpforme2014 · 17/06/2014 19:09

Evening all, I am exhausted this week! I'm sleeping the best I've ever slept in my life (normally a very light sleeper waking every 2-3 hours) but despite that I am still tired. Where has my energy gone booooo going on holiday on Sunday and really can't wait for a rest.

My bump is not huge but think it's growing now, baby is so low down, still kicking me in my pubic area only and strange bubble sensation down there like wind, so odd, think she kicking my cervix?

Office PA told me today she thinks it's silly of me booking four weeks annual leave this side of maternity and not saving it for next year! I just wanna finish work ASAP to be honest my heads not in it anymore.

binkybunny · 17/06/2014 19:38

Just picked up my Bounty Mum to be pack. So many free things and vouchers... So excited getting online to order my bump band Grin

binkybunny · 17/06/2014 19:57

bump tell the PA to mind her own business! I think theres quite a few on here that are counting the weeks and struggling with work!

mrsb87 · 17/06/2014 20:40

I personally cannot wait to finish work. Today I've had my manager off sick, assistant manager on day off and no staff willing to help. Great! I really couldn't give a rats arse! Bring on maternity leave!

pinkfizzsparkles · 17/06/2014 21:05

It's reassuring to hear about others exhaustion and growth spurts. I seriously feel like I've doubled in size over the last week, 25 +1 today. Last night I actually felt out of breath and I think it's everything moving upwards and reducing my lung volume. I'm struggling to bend down now, the bump is seriously hindering movement. I'm knackered despite early nights and good sleeps (well broken sleeps due to 4-5 trips to the toilet a night!!). I'm wondering if this is the beginning of the end of the 2nd trimester bloom!! It's been short lived!
