Hi All, thought I would start a 3rd trimester thread, as most are past 23 weeks now!!!

I got some brilliant sleeping bags for newborns upwards from Cheeky Rascals. I think they have a website.

That post was so interesting, I had to press send twice!

castlesintheair · 06/09/2006 14:43

Hello, me again!

Does anyone else crave coffee? Am I weird or what?? Magnolia, have you done your nudie shoot yet? Not stalking you just interested

Loulou000 · 06/09/2006 14:46

I crave coffee, chocolate, cake, red wine and just about everything that is Bad.

weirdbird · 06/09/2006 14:47

Nope, I'm craving coffee as well, which is really weird as I went off it last pregnancy and never drunk it again, and now I am craving it!

Am trying to limit myself to a couple of cups a day at most..

Redlorry75 · 06/09/2006 15:02

I have made my only lovely drink, a large mug of hot milk with 3 teaspoons of proper hot choc, 1 tsp instant coffee and a couple tsp sugar, depending on how I am feeling - tired lots, awake 0-1!

Calmriver · 06/09/2006 16:04

I know, I tried flylady a while ago and got really excited about having a shiny sink, but then it was plans of DD's noddy party, and then I felt gutted that I hadn't kept up with it.

Weirdbird, want to start tomorrow???Be great to have you to discuss it all with.

Redlorry75 · 06/09/2006 16:31

Heard about Flylady, had a look, think I would like to join, but what's it all got to do with Yahoo - can't I just have regualr e-mails?

softymom · 06/09/2006 17:03

This is going back a bit, but behind on posting!

Gloria: dd was due Jan 25, I worked til Jan 23 . I was booked for homebirth and reckoned I could get home in time. There was also a big hospital where my sister had her kids near my office so I knew if the worse came to the worse... I did take my maternity notes in with me every day for the last 2 weeks, and I had to get a note from my doctor saying I was fit to work after a certain point. Was just as well I worked to my due date as dd was 2.5 weeks late!

grobags: put dd in newborn growbag from birth but she was a whopper! Fab things. And so cute. You get a discount from www.bumpto3.com if you bulk buy (and you don't have to multi-buy the same pattern as I thought at first )

Best post quickly before dd realizes I'm on the internet and demands www.noddy.com!

magnolia1 · 06/09/2006 17:11

I am craving coffee too!!! And when not pregnant I don't even drink the stuff.

Photo shoot is Friday

Anyone else up and down with hormones at the moment? I have just shouted at dd4 (age 3) and I feel terrible and the other day I tapped her leg I never smack her and just feel like I am intolerant which is so unfair on the kids
I can't cope with the 11 yr old for more than half hour coz her constant chatting makes me want to scream and Dh's breath smells!! Well actually in doesn't really but I just can't stand the smell of breath atm.

I am feeling like shit and keep looking at my messy house but really don't have the energy to do it

Ok rant over!!

castlesintheair · 06/09/2006 18:27

You've just summed up my life at the moment, Magnolia, apart from the photo shoot Hope it goes well by the way. I fluctuate between ratty and tearful at the moment. Finding the DCs constant "Mummy ... then question or telling me something really interesting (not)" quite grating. Feel awful about it too. The thought of moving in 2 weeks (just found out today) makes me want to run and hide!

Hopefully tomorrow will be better

weirdbird · 06/09/2006 18:32

Calmriver, How do you want to do it?

Set up a thread somewhere of our own? Or swap email address's?

Redlorry75 - Its a Yahoo Group that send out the UK emails otherwise you get the US ones that arrive at all the wrong times!

You dont need a Yahoo email to join a yahoo group, just "a" email address.

I have used and still do, yahoo groups for many things as they are free and have many benefits!

I do know they are working towards not using Yahoo though

Calmriver · 06/09/2006 20:05

You don't have to give your e-mail address, so you don't get mail from them. I never have. I just follow the steps. It's fun. Dont give details.

Should we set up another thread? Call it flylady in action?Should I do it? Send me an e-mail with your address on it to [email protected]. Will check later,I live on it just about.

Huzzah have won the Garden Furniture we were after on Ebay.

We now have a LARGE table 212cm by 110cm and 6 chairs, which should be able to cope with the large crowds at BBQ's!

Morningnewspaper · 07/09/2006 09:54

Morning all - glad to hear you're all doing well, if not a little hormonal like my good self! Please tell me I'm not mad.......last night my DH and I were talking and I was saying that I am feeling less tolerant and that stuff I would normally keep my mouth shut over, I'm piping up about now. He said in all seriousness 'well I just hope it doesn't get passed on to the child'. Is that fighting talk 'or wot'????

I also had 2 small glasses of red wine, baked camembert, an ice-cream sundae and a coke yesterday.

Morningnewspaper · 07/09/2006 10:04

And I still don't have a washing machine (it's now been 2 weeks) and a lovely fairy dropped off a pile of maternity clothes that they were throwing away, so now I don't even need to go to the laundrette .

lucy5 · 07/09/2006 10:07

I can sympathise about the intolerance. Ive been a cow to dh and I actually looked at my mum yesterday and thought, wouldn't it be lovely to slap her. I would never! It's like pmt, I feel rage over absolutely nothing. Hope this phase passes quickly

weirdbird · 07/09/2006 10:10

Ahhh Pregnancy Rage, Mine comes and goes

Waved my little DD off for her first day of school today

Morningnewspaper · 07/09/2006 10:14

I know!!!!

Oh Wierdbird - how are you feeling? Is she in for a full or half day today?

weirdbird · 07/09/2006 10:18

Full day

Don't pick her up till 3pm

Am not really sure what to do with myself.

Have been good and eaten breakfast

Morningnewspaper · 07/09/2006 10:56

Well that is an excellent start! I think you should spend the rest of the day NOT doing jobs. Is there anything you've been hankering to do, if only you had more time?

Morningnewspaper · 07/09/2006 10:58

I'm going to go to the wool shop and buy a very simple pattern and some funky wool and start knitting a jacket thingy for my friends little boy. How middle aged is that?!?!

weirdbird · 07/09/2006 11:26

Not at all, I was starting to learn and have a very newly started scarf, but have forgotten what I had learnt, so it is waiting till my mum visits again!

So far today have caught up on MN, the CBB (another bulletin board) and my live journal friends list, deleted about 6mths of email out of my Yahoo account and nothing else...

oh and uploaded the photos we took this morning

Still havn't figured out the confusing explanation of how to post a link if I dont want to comment around it!

\link{http://pics.livejournal.com/weird_bird/pic/000d5h39}

accessorizequeen · 07/09/2006 12:12

After the URL, add a backslash \ then the description then close with } wb
It's really confusing, but if you remember URLs ono have forward slashes in them like so / , easier to do it.
