Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hello everyone, can I join? I just had a scan, and have been waiting to see the outcome before I pulled up a chair. We had an empty sac at 5 weeks last week, but this morning saw a teeny tiny heartbeat! So relieved, the last week has been hell. They think I'm a day or two off 6 weeks and it was just too early to see last time. I know it's really early still, but I'm going to try not to worry now unless I'm given good reason too sarcastic laughter, that's the dream. Just been getting a bit of nausea every now and then, though it's woken me up for the last two nights, but nothing too bad.

ffallada, are you still bleeding? Hope you get to speak to some one soon and get some reassurance.

Seasides · 24/04/2014 11:02

And really huge luck today whatsonemore, these checks ups are so terrifying.

dottytablecloth · 24/04/2014 11:29

7+2 today and it's the first day I've felt really nauseous, thought I was going to escape it.

I was still being sick at 28 weeks with my first baby Sad

Hope everyone is doing ok

Oh whats big virtual hugs.

Absolutely exhausted today and just more or less inhaled 2 hot cross buns. On phone nursery to sort out dd's settling in days, feel really upset about it...

DrFunkesFamilyBandSolution · 24/04/2014 14:23

(((Whats))), what a horrible drawn out day you've had. x

Whatsonemore sorry your news isn't quite as clear cut as you were hoping for. Understanding you wanting to step out of the group for now. Take care and I hope there's better news next week.

Kitty how old is your dd? Leaving them at nursery is such a wrench. But if you have found a good one for her then you'll soon see that it's ok and your dd is happy being there. It took my dd a little while as she only goes 2 days a week. But now she walks in herself with no fuss, the staff are beyond lovely and I'm so happy she goes there. I hope you are ok.

Well after 2 days of full on nausea I've just finally vomited. I feel so much better for it although I completely hate being sick. I'm hoping it's a one off . This pregnancy so far isVERY different to my dd. I didn't have any symptoms either other than tiredness around 7-10 weeks. Am now 8+4 and got strange taste in my mouth, vomiting, nausea, sleeping terribly, gone off fish. Actually the only thing I want to eat now is fruit!

PolytheneGirl · 24/04/2014 15:43

So sorry you're still in limbo whatsonemore. We're all still here for hand holding when you need it Thanks

PolytheneGirl · 24/04/2014 15:46

Well I think DS has sympathy nausea, he's just asked for the sick bowl! Thankfully he's not been sick, I don't think my preggie nose or tummy could take it right now!

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2014 16:03

So sorry to hear that, let us know how you get on whatsonemore.

Haha poly oh dear. I've just slept for an hour and 20 minutes and now feel hungover. Ugh.

PolytheneGirl · 24/04/2014 16:17

Treacle I did the same earlier and woke up feeling hungover too! I don't know what the answer is, I still feel tired and headachy now but I was so tired I was falling asleep sitting up!

I just did a HPT stupid I know and I only got a faint line. I hope that info on the hook effect if right. I will not be tell DH as he will either tell me off for being stupid and testing or go into a complete panic and rush me to the doctors. To be honest I just can't cope with either of those scenarios right now.

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2014 18:47

I was the same.
Oh Poly, try not to worry. If it was the middle of the day it might just mean your urine is diluted.
I need to stop my habit of poas every day...

PolytheneGirl · 24/04/2014 18:59

It was fmu but I'm trying to think positive and think that my HCG must be super high, which means my little bean is doing great! am I kidding myself?

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2014 19:25

I honestly don't know enough about it to say.
Have you been getting dark tests otherwise?

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2014 19:26

I've just read about it, it looks like it's pretty common :)

PolytheneGirl · 24/04/2014 19:34

I've just lined up all my tests and this one was the lightest since the very first one but I don't have any worrying symptoms so I'm pretty sure as sure as any of us can be everything is ok.

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2014 19:45

Yeah, if there was anything wrong I'm sure you'd know.
I'm at my parents at the moment, being fed! Second time this week.

PolytheneGirl · 24/04/2014 19:55

Lucky you Treacle I'm avoiding my Mom like the plague! I'm sure she'll know and if not I know I'll say something stupid!

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2014 19:59

Haha I had to tell mine. I can't keep a secret.
Think that's why she's looking after me. She's not very lovey Dovey so it's her way of showing it.

PunkyPod · 24/04/2014 20:14

That's very sweet of your mum Treacle. Is this your first DC? My mum is coming out with us to the farm tomorrow. With how i've been feeling the last few days with MS I think she's going to twig that something is going on...

ots · 24/04/2014 20:14

Hi can I join? Just found out I'm 4 weeks with DC2. Already got an almost 3 year old DS. This has come as a massive shock as been taking the pill religiously! We're very happy though. Due date is 29th December :)

SassehMonsta · 24/04/2014 20:19

Haha, I'm also trying to avoid my family like the plague, and my best friend! With it being half term though, I've had to visit my mum & the kids (she runs a children's holiday play scheme & after school club) otherwise the kids moan!! As long as things go ok at my scan tomorrow evening, we're putting them out of their misery and telling them Saturday! Less than 24 hours to go eeeeeek

Vicky5910 · 24/04/2014 20:32

Wow, new thread and already over 200 posts! Life got a old on me for a few days but I'm back to hanging out here now ;)
Nearly 8 weeks, thank goodness, 4 more till that scan! Not sure my wok trousers can hold out for that long, expecting a waistband explosion any day now!
Hugs to those who need them. I haven't managed to catch up on everything but special hugs to ffallada and whats and welcome ots!
