Hey Emily. Hooray for no vomit, I know I'm counting myself lucky too, have only been sick once. You'll get your bloods done at least 1 more time. And if you need a glucose tolerance test then that's a whole heap of fun (not). My nan had old age diabetes and because of that I had the GTT test when about 28 weeks with dd. Was hoping to avoid this time but the mw yesterday said I'll probably have it done again. Fun Hmm but I do understand why it needs doing. Great that you managed to stay as calm as possible during the blood test.

Natasha I think you should ring up the mw and just explain your pains. Most likely absolutely nothing to worry about but still it is worrying to be in pain.

I'll be getting my mat clothes out the loft very soon. My stuff is getting too small and I have a clear bump already. Won't actually put the mat tops on til I've had the scan as they are obviously mat wear!

Dd moved up to toddler room at nursery today. She cried at drop off. My heart broke a bit leaving her Sad

natashaarr · 07/05/2014 13:31

drewswife and punky she rang me off the Doctors phone so I don't have her number and she left me a voicemail. I'll have to just ring 111 for some advice. The pains getting worse but I still have 4 and a half hours left at work :(

PunkyPod · 07/05/2014 13:49

Def ring 111 Natasha.

ChineseFireball · 07/05/2014 14:29

Natashaarr can you self refer to the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, probably at your local hospital? Or failing that get referred via a GP walk in or 111? It's better to go there than to A&E (where 111 might send you). Don't know if this helps at all?

SassehMonsta · 07/05/2014 14:29

Booking in appointment on Monday next week. Spoken briefly to woman at doctors and she said I can continue with belly dancing when I feel up to it as long as I'm sensible and follow directions from the class teacher - Hurrah! Think if I feel up to it I'll go back to my old Thursday class tomorrow rather than my Monday classes. Prefer the people on a Thursday Hoping this will help eliminate bloat from bump as well.

Bought maternity jeans today (8+2) as the pressure from regular jeans is uncomfy. Mostly bloat but it seems to be slowly firming up each day eeeeek! Got tiny bump going on under there.

natashaarr · 07/05/2014 14:39

I think I'm going to have to ring 111 punky

chinesefireball I'm not sure, I'll try and go through 111 first and see what they say. Definetly not going to A&E as I'll be there hours!

Thanks for all your help, I'll update you this evening!

Somersetgirl1990 · 07/05/2014 15:44

Hope everything's ok natashaarr, was there just blood the once that you wiped? Fingers crossed for you it's nothing, I've read soooo many stories (as I'm sure you have) about people having blood and it being nothing to worry about so I think it's quite common!
How old are the kids that you nanny? I'm a nanny too! Just for one though, she's about 20 months and is so sweet Smile

natashaarr · 07/05/2014 16:14

somerset no it's every time since money now and there's a lot more and not just when I wipe (sorry for tmi!) yeah I've read the happy stories I just hope mines nothing to worry about! Oh really? Do you look after her full time? I look after a 9 year old 6-9am everyday every other week and then look after a 4 and a 9 year old from a different family 1-6pm :)

natashaarr · 07/05/2014 16:14

Wooops I meant Monday not money!

Somersetgirl1990 · 07/05/2014 16:46

She goes to nursery in the mornings so I do 1-5.30 ish tues-fri Smile she naps until 2.30 though so it's only really for a few hours. I'm currently making her dinner and she's having a tantrum because she can't fit in her dolls pram Confused

espa · 07/05/2014 17:26

Had mw today. All good and she seems nice. Back at the end of the month for bloods. Just waiting on my letter now for scan, really hoping I get it for week 12 as we're going to my folks the weekend I'll be 12+ so want to tell them then!

CatFaceCrayola · 07/05/2014 17:42

So tired. So very very tired. I so want to do some exercise (even just go for a walk) but I just have no energy.

Feel better than yesterday though. Woke up an hour earlier than normal and ate a cereal bar. Felt less sick when it was actually wake up time!

There's a woman at work who's about 7.5 months and so much of the staffroom conversation is pregnancy related. Driving me mad because I keep wanting to say things or ask questions but I can't.

natashaarr · 07/05/2014 17:46

somerset oh bless I miss lo

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 07/05/2014 17:48

I've been lying on the sofa watching films all day (Holby City - not a film, I know, Blackfish, Chocolat and Calendar Girls) and eating crisps as they're all I fancy :( kept feeling good like I could get up and tackle the housework, then as soon as I stood up, felt horrendous again. Got cramps again today, which are annoying and make me feel even sicker :( a miserable day!
I'm 7 weeks tomorrow, though, which feels like a milestone I never thought I'd reach.

natashaarr · 07/05/2014 17:48

somerset oh bless I miss looking after children that age! 4 year olds don't really want you playing with them as much and 9 year olds think it's embarrassing if I play too haha! But the 4 year old will be going to school soon full time and by then baby will be here (HOPEFULLY!) :)

I've just bought a pair of linen trousers from Tesco (not maternity) with an elasticated back panel on the waistband. Yay, I can breathe again!

Treaclepie19 · 07/05/2014 18:55

Hi everyone :)
Had a hard day at work today, been feeling really down and hoping there is a baby in there and it's not a blighted ovum.

Glad to be home :)

7 weeks today.

Somersetgirl1990 · 07/05/2014 19:12

Well I finished work at 5.30, went to the yard to do the horse and have been sat in my car for well over an hour outside tesco, too exhausted to contemplate going in to pick up a few bits for tea. Also the thought of the 30 mins drive home is making me want to curl up in my car and camp here for the night Confused I need some sort of teleporting device. I'm also in that stage of hunger where I now just feel really sick and the thought of food is making me want to throw up but I know if I eat I'll feel better.
I think it's safe to say I'm not enjoying feeling like this one little bit Hmm

Somersetgirl1990 · 07/05/2014 19:13

Treacle are they scanning you at some point?

Treaclepie19 · 07/05/2014 19:26

They're scanning me next Wednesday. Already had one scan but it only showed the gestational sac.

Had blood tests too which showed hcg is increasing but not quite doubling.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 07/05/2014 20:10

Strained my back and ribs retching today. :(

Feel less weepy though and boobs didnt hurt as much. Of course then I prodded them a lot as worried they were not hurting. Idiot. Just want this next few weeks to go quicker so I can see everything is ok.

Treacle. When can they scan you? I had mine at 8 weeks and could see a little embryo. If its doing your head in push for an early scan.

I think a pregnancy transporter is a great idea....

9+1

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 07/05/2014 20:11

Sorry treacle. Just seen you are going for one. Best of luck xx

DrewsWife · 07/05/2014 20:22
