Had my first day of actually being sick today Sad I don't know how I will cope with my 15 month old and having to go back to work next week.

Anyone else having scarily vivid dreams?

Kittykatmacbill · 26/04/2014 09:45

Congratulations twin people so exciting!

And hello to any new peeps!

Had to go into work yesterday to meet my new line manager (returning after mat leave). I sure I looked about 12 weeks pregnant, certainly feel it, I have too have mega boobs and such a bulgy belly (although still in normal trousers - just!). Anyway felt an total fraud, but I can't tell them this early...

Time is going so slowly, isn't it? And unlike last time I can't just avoid everyone! Kx

PunkyPod · 26/04/2014 10:25

Wow Pickle what a surprise!!

And fab Sasseh that you saw a lovely HB. You may find your dates move again at the12 week scan.

I'm having a bit if a rubbish time of it. Nausea, vomit and now terrible runs Hmm I think it's more likely a bug than pregnancy related. Ofcourse makes me worry that everything is ok in there.....

9 weeks tomorrow.....

littlegreengloworm · 26/04/2014 10:28

Is anyone else starting to feel their clothes are too tight. I can't blame of, I have just ate crap all Easter. So I had a few spoons of beans on wholemeal toast to suppress hunger this morning. Will try and fill up on salmon and good food from now on.

littlegreengloworm · 26/04/2014 10:28

Can't blame pg

ImBrian · 26/04/2014 11:21

Dotty I'm the same, I'm 9 weeks and was sick yesterday and then again today. I've felt rough the whole time and had the runs etc but I thought I'd escaped the vomiting!

My trousers are getting small, I had lost 4 lbs but it's back on Sad

ImBrian · 26/04/2014 11:22

Ooooooo there's a January thread!!! We're no longer the youngest!

DrewsWife · 26/04/2014 14:38

Today I'm an emotional wreck. I'm sat in tears for a multitude of reasons.

A local boy lost his fight with neuroblastoma. It was his funeral today and my fb has been full of posts talking about it.

My milk was off.

I started moving the living room about and I can't finish it...

I ran out of crisps and need to go to tesco if I want any...

My boobs are sore.

I have not had morning sickness. Just nausea.

I ran out of episodes of bones and criminal minds....

Anyone else?? Someone slap me!

Minion · 26/04/2014 14:40

Girls I have discovered boob heaven. If you can stand it,get ddown to primani and pick up their seamless bras. Only £2.50 each! And no underwire.
Bliss.
Such a revelation. Sad thing is think I may grow out.of.their largest size tho...

DrewsWife · 26/04/2014 14:43

What is the largest size?

PunkyPod · 26/04/2014 14:52

Minion they sound good, I've been putting off my bra at every oportunity!

Imbrian of have you got gerund too? My stomach is churning whenever I eat, been almost24 hours of it now. The nausea and sick has gone by now. Really not sure what to make of it.....

Yay for there being a January thread!!

PunkyPod · 26/04/2014 14:52

Gurund???? Erm..... The runs*

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 26/04/2014 14:55

Well my GP appointment was very positive! She has referred me to the midwife and sent me for a blood test this week (I have hypothyroidism) and was generally very nice! I'm so relieved. Hopefully my blood test will be alright, but it's more just to check I'm on the right dose. Yay :)
I also got a new bra today. I've gone from an F cup to an H Shock
Hope everyone else is well.

ImBrian · 26/04/2014 14:56

Haha punky I was wondering what you ment. I have from quite early one, then it dird off for a bit and now it's back. It seems worse on a morning but isn't constant. I get really bad stomach cramps as well.

Is anyone else burping loads? With my pot belly, belching and dodgy stomach I'm a total catch!

Martie1 · 26/04/2014 15:03

imbrian -me! snap!

all i seem to do is burp, feel queasy with an enlarged stomach. It's also clearly a food baby as its gone each morning.

Not eating makes me feel light headed and sick, eating makes me feel sick and bloated. Well this is fun.

Congrats on the twinnies pickles!

ThankYouDebbie · 26/04/2014 16:00

Hello all!

I've finally been brave enough to put my details on the stats. I only told DP today after 5 days of keeping the news to myself, just to let it sink in. We have had two v early MCs before but darkening lines and nausea are making me cautiously optimistic.
V glad to have this thread to lurk on to satisfy my near-constant need to think about it. Main problem is that I have three big pieces of coursework to do to finish the post-grad course I've been on all year through work. Sooooo not in the mood for concentrating hence the mumsnetting.

SassehMonsta · 26/04/2014 16:43

Urk - just did the medical history chat with my parents - how many things?! Bonkers. 2x high blood pressure, 1x low blood pressure, 2x heamachromatosis, 1x epilepsy, 1x diabetes, 1x Stargardts.... mental! That's just direct relations (mum, dad, uncle, nan, gran & sister). I almost daren't ask the in-laws!! Not to mention my lung disease.

Ever get the feeling you may be on the higher risk list?

Minion · 26/04/2014 17:04

They only go in small, medium, large (bras), however I can confirm they are not that great at sleeping in them... Nope not just had a nap.
Ish

Somersetgirl1990 · 26/04/2014 18:14

Hi everyone! Grin Can I join? Went for an early scan yesterday and they measured me as 7+4 yesterday, think that puts my EDD at around the 8th December??

littlegreengloworm · 26/04/2014 19:04

Welcome somer. Also due 8th though haven't had a scam yet to confirm .

Vicky5910 · 26/04/2014 19:31

I'm glad to see a lot of poo chat. I cannot poop! It's been days! I am not happy! Just shouted at hubby it's not funny, I'm never going to poo again!!!
:( I eat 5 oranges a day (morning sickness relief!!) I thought they would help, might need to switch to pears...

Somersetgirl1990 · 26/04/2014 19:46

Vicky I'm the other way! Which I think is worse because of the sore tummy and the way it just creeps up on you from nowhere

Treaclepie19 · 26/04/2014 19:55

I'm the same somerset, such an upset stomach today.
Told DH to stay away from me and my wind (sorry tmi) haha.

KildaTiffany · 26/04/2014 19:55

Hello - another new thread member. Regular MNer but NC in case someone who knows my normal name finds this thread (not going public with news yet)

due somewhere around 2nd-9th December, will be DC2 and I'll be just shy of 40. I've been in denial a bit because I was going for a new job I really really wanted so was focussing on that - but they've given the job to someone else now so not trying to hide it from myself any more.

No MS but zero appetite for the last few weeks, I've been making myself eat a bit but nowhere near my normal levels (I normally eat way too much though). Just finding it really difficult to want to put anything in my mouth at all but need to cook something...

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 26/04/2014 20:04

Had no symptoms today except sore boobs, and now I've got a pain in my tummy :(
