I think we have one already don't we?

What would be useful is when people post on main March 07 thread, if they put their EDD at bottom, as I can't keep track of whose due when and it would be good to see people's porogress without having to check back on stats thread.

TheBlonde · 23/08/2006 14:17

I think this was meant as a fresh thread (not stats)
The old one is quite long now

leogaela · 23/08/2006 14:18

No, no, this is a continuation of the first due march 2007 thread! The other one has got soooooooo long!

The stats are added just as a reminder of who is here.

I have ds - 18 months
and preganant with twins (40 weeks due date is 12th March)
Live in Zurich

Great that you are joining us TheBlonde !

leogaela · 23/08/2006 14:18

Hi all
sorry not posted for a week or so it has been a long week of pains and spotting for me. Had my Mw booking in appt on Monday and she said that she would organise me an early scan which I had this morning!!!

So after a very sleepless night Dh and I trotted along for the scan this morning.
The scan results were a little bit worrying really as apparently the sack is showing me to be 5-6 weeks pregnant whereas I had calculated from my last period to be 9 weeks yesterday. As there was some doubt about presence of a heartbeat I had to have a vaginal scan which showed a faint heartbeat and fetal pole. I suppose that's good news but the date mystery makes me think that perhaps the baby is experiencing growth problems and that all is not well. I have another scan booked for 2 weeks today so sure this is going to be a long 2 weeks but amid all the anxiety I will try to remain positive. So, on the basis of my date recalculation I am going to hop over to the April thread full time now but will drop in here to check how you are all doing...take care all X

fatfox · 23/08/2006 14:31

Oh fine - sorry I missed the point - I'm getting a lot of that at the moment. Missed points that is

Leo congrats on your twins (it was you wasn't it?)

Babycakes - someone else had this recently and when she went back again, the baby had grown and was OK. Try not to worry too much in the next two weeks.

My stats again are:

Me 42
DH older
DS 6
DD 3
EDD somewhere between 28 Feb and 4 March!!!!

West London

fatfox · 23/08/2006 14:32

babycakes26 · 23/08/2006 14:36

Thx FatFox - I'll do my best to be a cool, calm and relaxed pregnant person

kittywits · 23/08/2006 14:36

yes fatfox it would be really useful if people put their edd at the bottom of posts. I'll try to remember!!

babycakes26 · 23/08/2006 14:46

Kittywits was that earlier on this pregnancy or a previous pregnancy?

leogaela · 23/08/2006 14:47

Babycakes - sorry to hear what you are going through . Rest as much as possible and as others have said try not to get yourself in a complete stressed state over the next 2 weeks.
Please don't jump over ot the April thread completely, we like having you here !

Fatfox - yes its me having twins !

morocco · 23/08/2006 14:55

welcome tallie!

thinking of you babycakes - the uncertainty must be hard. It's not impossible that you could have just ovulated later than normal, though, so don't give up hope. ds1 was about 2 weeks out according to scan/my dates and my gynae got me all worked up over no heartbeat but a week later it had appeared. I hope you get to come back and tell us a similar story in 2 weeks time.

I'm glad the essential oils seems to be working, kittywits, you know, I was sooo sceptical when I got the 'recipe' on an aromatherapy course I did but soon changed my tune. Waht convinced me was that I was using the same excema cream as always so it was teh only change. hope it keeps on working.

things are going ok here, I was 'glad' to read other people had been getting those stabbing pains when getting up, I was starting to get a bit worried.
Everyone else in the house is puking but I seem to be ok so far - I dread getting this bug, it is so horrible. ds1 and ds2 and dh are all suffering now. house is smelly and gross.

kittywits · 23/08/2006 14:57

Babycakes it was a previous pregnancy. I'm not sure how much more info to give you really.

DollyP · 23/08/2006 15:49

Hello everyone. Welcome tallie and theblonde, good to have you on board .

Sorry for all the tired people. I am very lucky at the moment as DH is on hols so he can look after DD when I am feeling pants. She has been at nursery today so I slept all morning and have read all afternoon. Bliss! Will be hard next week when he and I both back at work. Been on hols for 3 weeks and sort of forgotten than I have a job . Rude awakenings next week!

MS went a bit over the weekend but now back! Can't work out how I feel about it really. My stomach is also really sore and was very upset this am so I hope I haven't caught something. Sorry morocco about your poorly family. Hope they get better soon.

Babycakes, when I had DD I had a few early scans and they put me back by 2 weeks. Try to rest lots and not worry too much. Easier said than done, of course, but take it easy as far as you can.

Hope everyone is doing well and not too sickly. Just think, with any luck we'll be blooming in a few weeks.

Dolly (due 26th March, DD aged 16 months)XXX

Booboobedoo · 23/08/2006 16:50

Hello everyone!

Got back from our Scottish hol a couple of days ago, and have finally recovered from the journey. Still got MS, but veering now more towards nasty heartburn. More energy though - I'm 12+1 today. Nuchal scan on Friday morning (par for the course round here even though I'm only 30).

Loads of catching up to do: so here goes. (deep breath...)

Firstly, so sad to hear your news Pinkranger, K1w1 & Stretchmarks . Pinky - you were one of the first on this thread with me - hope you all manage to conceive again very soon.

Welcome to all the newbies. Puzzle: I have the same EDD as you.

Pennygaff, chitchat and babycakes: I'm a first-timer as well. Wonderful, but also scary and thowing up some unexpected emotions.

Congratulations on your twin PG leogaela! My scan's on Friday, so I'll let you know...

Hi Fatfox. I'm starting to swell a little in front, but I went into Mothercare yesterday and was told by the shop assistant that I don't look pregnant, so obviously I'm not showing that much. Everything's getting a bit tight in the tum region though.

lol at Egg-shaped coats ProfYaffle. I'm going to the Vogue website to see what that's all about.

Hi Piffle: sorry to hear you're still feeling rough: your kids sound great.

Hopefully talk more tomorrow (or rather come on and yammer then go again).

EDD: 7th March
12+1

Jaysecond · 23/08/2006 19:11

Thers no way i can catch up on everything, its taking all my effort to skim read without feeling like throwing up everywhere....sorry. I thought my MS had gone also, lessened at about 91/2 wks but has come back in the last three days seems to be worse than ever DD has just learnt to crawl also, so i am up and down like a yo-yo......no rest for the wicked!

Welcome to all newbies and thanks for the new thread Eidsvold, couldnt believe how long the other one got so quickly!

I have my first scan next thursday, nuchal at same time ( standard proceedure here also boo) am dreading it so much, i feel sure that something is going to show up....i know i know, am worryng about nothing probably but i cant help it, feeling a bit down with one thing and another

Anyway i wont depress anyone further with my moaning, will try and catch up on the news!

11+3

EDD 11 MARCH
ME 35
DH 29
DD 7 1/2 MTHS

Booboobedoo · 23/08/2006 19:18

Sorry you're feeling down Jaysecond . MS is a bugger isn't it?

All my friends with children got very self-absorbed in their first-trimester, and I now totally understand why. It's hard enough to keep yourself positive when you're constantly feeling crap - you don't have much left to give to anyone else!

I'm still sick (3 times today), but my energy levels are picking up. Think I tailed off into a low-grade depression, but my hol picked me up.

It will get better Jay. Look at your lovely baby, and think how wonderful it'll be when you have a brand new one.

pennygaff · 23/08/2006 19:38
