Aw isitme how cute. Can't wait to see my mini person too. Feels like an absolute age away from my first scan, but it's actually only in 2 weeks time.

I'm super sleepy today zzZzzzZzzZz

Hubbythecatandme · 05/02/2014 21:47

Carly hope it all goes well, please don't jump to conclusions yet. I know exactly how you are feeling though, I had dark brown blood discharge on Monday at 2am and spent the next 24 hours crying hysterically. Sent to the EPU for a scan tomorrow, spotting has stopped but I have looked at horror stories on google and I am very scared.
Sending you a big hug xxx

broodylicious · 06/02/2014 06:53

hubby Dr Google is lethal, isn't he? Although I have nausea, sore nips and food aversions, I've managed to convince myself - through reading too much via Dr Google - that all that doesn't mean I'm still pregnant because I could've had a mmc and so my body still thinks I'm pregnant!! Need that scan pdq.....

isitme1 · 06/02/2014 08:35

Im 11 weeks tomorrow (few days ahead of September is due date 28/08/14)
I will prob have section a week or so before.

Im pretty happy on this thread so can I stay here Grin

isitme1 · 06/02/2014 08:36

Kitty my sickness gets worse at bloody night too :(

Kittyrose1 · 06/02/2014 08:58

Yes stay with us isitme :)
Gah it's so strange It literally hits me after dinner and I'm exhausted with it. I'm having a funny mood morning today, feel all worked up but not really sure why :/ hormones?!

duzzlightyearsmum · 06/02/2014 09:09

Goodness I can't keep up with you ladies! I've had a few bad days with sickness so feeling pretty worn out at the moment.

Had my first midwife appt yesterday and she said everything is looking good and even passed comment on the sizeable bump already forming!!! She has sent my scan request so hopefully I will have a date for that soon. 10 weeks currently!

Have also been referred to 'silver star' our local consultant team due to post natal complications with DS so will probably hear from them pretty soon too!

It's all starting to feel very real this week!

Xxx

lucidlady · 06/02/2014 09:33

Is anyone else veering between feeling sick as a dog and then absolutely starving?

Kittyrose1 · 06/02/2014 09:43

Lucid lady that sounds like me!

isitme1 · 06/02/2014 09:47

I felt a bit guilty after the scan yesterday. ..
Baby had back towards me which made me think well thats coz I wasnt sure about this pregnancy.

Stupid I know.

Lucid yup that happens here. I go all shakey as im that hungry but find it hard to eat (sometimes lol)

Hubbythecatandme · 06/02/2014 10:24

broody yup I think I am prepared for all the worst case scenarios thanks to Dr Google :s poor hubby of mine has to be so patient poor man!

Hubbythecatandme · 06/02/2014 10:27

Isitme, you are a pregnant woman full of hormones, please try not to pay attention to what silly emotions are telling you. You have absolutely nothing to feel guilty about! In the early stages I have caught myself wondering "what if I hate having a baby?" We all do it at some stage I think Xx

isitme1 · 06/02/2014 10:35

Thank you catandme.
These bloody hormones can really get to you!
We've been out every day this week! (Appointments) and the house is upside plus baby os teething. Lets see how much can get done!

Cary how are thingd going? Have you beem for a scan? Fwiw with ds2 I went to the loo once and there was bright red blood like the beginning of periods just when I wiped. It only happened once but I went down to epu in the afternoon (well midday) and they scanned me. Everything was fine and baby is now 6months old!

Omg I need strong garlic bread you know when the garic butter is still melting ahhhhh [drool]

rockin20s · 06/02/2014 11:10

my boobs feel like they are about to bust out of my bra! had to wash my newer bigger bras so im wearing one of my older bras. thought it fit ok this morning but now i just want to rip it off!

My boss knows im pregnant told him at 5 weeks due to me bursting out crying while talking to him about my job, so now he talks very loudly asking how i am. not sure if anyone else at work has figured out im pregnant yet. i wouldn't be surprised if they ALL know but are being polite and saying nothing!

Hubbythecatandme · 06/02/2014 11:26

Haha rockin!!! I burst out crying at first visit to gp lol she had to give me a tissue but had a bit of a smile on her face lol pregnancy hormones make you go mental.... isitme, pregnancy makes us go irrational, just ignore any thoughts like that. I have thought every thing and its contrary since bfp and gone from ecstasy to dread to feeling depressed or getting really angry in matter of days. Seems to have calmed down now but best to ignore what our emotions are telling us lol

Hubbythecatandme · 06/02/2014 11:30

I have bought maternity leggings from George online, they are the most comfy things ever and only 8 quids, I am short and my tummy doesn't let me close trousers anymore. Being constipated and bloated so much does nothing to help either lol sorry TMI plus us short women show earlier I hear.... I look the most unclassy woman I now at the mo lol nevermind!

Lottystar · 06/02/2014 11:34

I have my early reassurance scan in half an hour, wish me luck ladies, I'm bricking it!!

isitme1 · 06/02/2014 11:35

Ohh I forgot George did maternity.

I lived in 2 pair our leggings, maxi dresses and 1 top plus 1 mid length dress throughout last pregnancy.

1 pair of leggings have a hole so they are gone
its too cold to wear a maxi dress (ladies being heavily pregnant during summer is not nice!!!)
Flowers to catandme x

isitme1 · 06/02/2014 11:36

Xpost lottie
good luck
hope all is ok let us know how you get on x

broodylicious · 06/02/2014 11:38

Hormones have a lot to answer for!! They make even the most hard faced cows turn into squidgy softies. Sometimes. Hate to tell you first timers but it doesn't just end when baby pops out either..... I absolutely blubbed when dd had her jabs!! :'(

Btw think we need a new thread soon!!

broodylicious · 06/02/2014 11:51

Started a new thread - brewing sept 2014 beauties. Can't link though...

Hey ladies just to let you know I have been in hospital since 4am I lost our baby. Words can't describe how I feel. 6 long years and then this. Wishing you all the best take care everyone and thanks for the support x

Hubbythecatandme · 06/02/2014 16:18

lotty how did it go?
I saw my baby today, 9 weeks 4 days (thought 10 + 2!!). Cutest lil thing moving his little arms, hubby and I were giggling nervously like a pair of idiots. So happy! And we definitely have "most beautiful baby ever" symptom. Bet other people would look at our scan and be like "erm..."
These are my leggings, think am going to order another 3 pairs. I got the jeans from George, look nice too but not as comfy (but think it's because my tummy is too podgy really). Love this:
