I had the angel sounds one for DS. It was great and very reassuring. There was a high risk of heart problems in that pregnancy which is why I bought it, but I've since sold it and won't be getting another for this one as this time it's more straight forward. They are very easy to use.

Feel yukky this morning. Dd had a crap night after a nightmare at 1030 - refused to sleep in her bed afterwards. We've got tumble tots at 930. Not sure we'll have such a great time today!

I've been awake since 230 even though I'm absolutely shattered. Any hints to getting a proper nights sleep? I feel like a zombie.

I had a summer baby heart beat checker and tbh they aren't all that.

Dh had a moment this morning, all laid down nice and cuddly and he had his hand on lil bump, which was nice as I didn't think he would bond quickly with bump due to previous problems after ds2.

Some one mentioned about having a cyst - I have one too, pretty painful but Iv been told it's a fairly common thing and won't affect baby at all.

This is my first baby and i really hope I can bf - iv no plans not too so hoping it will go ok. Someone also mentioned about DH not bonding with baby - I was worried about that but I think if you include him I'm everything, talk to him etc it can help - just so it's not all me and the baby.

As for finding out the sex - anyone else torn?? I'd love to know but also think the surprise might help me push that bit harder!!! Yikes.

Oh and anyone else really starting to show now?? I'm 5ft8 and 11stone so size 10/12 - 8 weeks and already iv a very hard to hide baby bump - it's small but so obviously a baby bump. All my clothes are starting to be uncomfortable now - as is my bra. So any recommendations of niceaternity garb that doesn't cost the earth and good place to get fitted for a bra. Thanks everyone

broody you have given me hope, i haven't slept through the night since we conceived, im exhausted! hopefully the second trimester i will sleep like a log!

Dinner went ok at my dads on Saturday just said i would be driving and help myself to sprite, they offered again later but i made sure i had a full glass of sprite in front of me for the night so could easily turn down the offer.

blew up on my sister when she asked if we had a honeymoon baby, im not close to her so found it a very personal question. So now the whole family are going to think I'm nuts when i announce I'm pregnant as they now think I'm having difficulties. Didn't handle it very well which led to a huge fight with DH even though he knew i was dreading seeing her as i knew she would make some comment!

i think the lack of sleep is getting to me!

Sent my self-referral form to UCH today. Any idea how long they normally take to get back to you? I'm working on the continent for the next few months so have told them I need to come over a particular week to work with my work schedule, hope they're accommodating! My DH's friend is picking up our mail so we'll have to tell him asap that we're preg so he doesn't get suprised when he opens the letter!

Just had a phone call from the midwife, booking in appointment on Thursday at 7 +1. Now it is all beginning to seem a little more real.

Hey everyone, not posted for a while, as I go on my phone quite a lot, but recently it hasn't been posting my messages! So finally have time to get onto the Mac and post! Have had a really busy weekend, as DS turned 3 on Sat, and then my little cousin also had a birthday party yesterday,so haven't stopped! I've booked today off work though to catch up on housework, and sneak in a nap as just dropped DS off to nursery! sitting I am about 8 weeks too and deffo starting to show a little! Even my MIL and my DSIS and my best friend (who all know) noticed it at the weekend! Yep same here about getting a good bra too this is one of my worst symptoms having very sore boobs! I have my MW apt on Wednesday, feels like ages ago I booked it, and it's finally here this week! Just seems like such a long time until when the scan may be though!

I'm 6+3, our first baby, i'm having my first appointment next week 13th February. So excited. I'm thinking if I'll have a scan or just examination and medical history. I hope for a scan, I want to see my tiny baby.

I'm 24 and my partner 26, we concieved during first week of trying, when I tried to guess my fertile days. Seems it was working :-).

Team yellow for now, but we want to know sex of the baby as soon as possible. We just can't wait and leave it as a surprise.
Originally I wanted to tell our parents after 12 weeks scan to be sure everything is ok, but now I'm not sure if I can keep it as a secret for so long, so maybe after the 8 week app.
Because all our families live abroad, we'll have to tell them the news by Skype and not face to face, which I really regret. We're trying to at least find a nice way how to tell them to make it as a perfect surprise tho'.

Now I am at home for couple of days having cystitis again and just hope it won't hurt my baby.

Urgh ms taking over my life! Feel so icky that I'm finding it hard doing anything at all. Both my boys are at school and I don't work. Admire all you ladies struggling through a working day - especially you teachers!! I can't imagine how I did it the first two times, although sure I wasn't this ill.

Food aversions kicking in big time. PIL were over this weekend as it was my eldest son's 7th birthday. They can't really get takeaway where they live and so we always get pizza when they're over but when it arrived I just couldn't touch it!

Have had to have a day on the couch today. Ms and a stinking cold was too much this morning and couldn't manage work! Back 2 it tomorrow though. I'm sure ms is worse as I'm not busy at work. Glad l was here for the post though, got my scan date for 19th Feb. I'll be exactly 12weeks!

Freaking out. Sat in doctors waiting room. Think I may have water infection...bad pains all day, terrible back ache, strong smelly wee, oh please god let all be ok...

Bex You'll be fine. One dip stick test and some antibiotics, they are common in pregnancy. Hope your feeling better soon, UTI sucks! Deep breath xx

Ive barely left the house in nearly 4 weeks the MS is just unbearable, have had good moments but rare! I do the bare minimum after that I don't care.

Yes to water infection sample tested and sent off for further analysis?? Is this normal? On amoxicillin for a week, and told to drink plenty, take paracetamol and rest. Oh god, the pain was unbearable this afternoon, I actually started crying in the middle of teaching a Chinese New Year song because the pain was so bad now contemplating whether to have tomorrow off as really don't want to be caught short with that pain again...

I really feel for you all with ms xxx
