Hi all, due 21st Jan. Bean feels very comfortable so I'm guessing it will be a little late ! Hope everyone else is doing okay at this exciting time.

fx that's what it means another and baby is on the way. Will be checking he is ok later just to be sure.

Mw just been. Didn't offer a sweep this time but has said if I want one next week then she is happy to do it, so at least I didn't have to make that decision today so have a bit more time to think. Head is lower than it was which was good, and she thinks all the cramps are a good sign. Bp was a little high when she first took it but second measurement was fine, probably just because I didn't sleep well.

Pooch is being very clingy today, literally won't leave my side. Wonder if she senses something might be happening [hopeful face]

nature I do think animals just instinctively 'know'. We stayed with DPs parents during my first pg and I was trailed everywhere by their 3 cats. I couldn't go to the toilet without being followed. Later on I tripped and fell down a few steps when i was heavily pregnant and my dog didn't leave my side whilst DPs dog went mad trying to find him.

felix I agree with another. My favourite thing to do when Ds was small and portable was to go to a (bf friendly) cafe or to odeon newbies.

Thankfully, my asda delivery arrived today, lovely asda man insisted on carrying and unpacking it for me. I'm relieved as now we're stocked up on dishwasher tabs, fairy non bio and loo rolls. Plus DS and DP Won't starve in my absence (far fetched yet irrational fear I know - DP has always done a great job with DS).

I feel very crappy today, my hormones seem to have run riot and I've come up in a few spots. I'm just aware of how much I need to do at home - laundry, cleaning etc and have found a new pram on gumtree that needs picking up before Ds2 arrives.

Bunt(pretty sure it was you) and humpty - being in pain in front of strangers isn't fun, i was in a room with three others, but we were all in pain together which helps. Keep strong!

Thank you all for the support, I've been so ridiculously hormonal over this stupid induction, I'm sure I'll find labour an anticlimax in comparison to the horrific things I've dreamt up in the past few days.

After feeling a bit slack compared to everyone else, I spent all afternoon batch cooking, admittedly mostly for DD! She has shepherds pies, minced beef and rice (her fave), salmon fish cakes, loads of mash, and some blueberry muffins. Plan on making a big batch of pancakes for breakfast too, of which some will freeze. At least I know she will get a decent meal once the chaos decends. The grown ups will just have to fend for themselves!

Just made some of the fish cakes for DH and I for dinner. They were absolutely delicious, but I managed to shallow fry the tip of my finger, which is now burning like a bastard. And the baby is doing something weird with the inside of my belly button.

At least it's the weekend tomorrow! (For me!) so DH will be around to help out. Fingers crossed for some weekend baby action for us all!

My due date today and this is the first time out of three children that I have got this far!! Feels weird. Lots of bearing down pressure and the odd BH but nada really.

I am happy though as the further from Xmas the better for the bambino.

Still not a single sign here! Was checked out last night as worried waters were leaking but it looks like it's either hind waters or discharge. I'm a massive wimp and found being examined a little painful, so very worried about birth now!

Had anyone gone into labour without any warning signs at all?

exciting for all the inductions I ended up at day where the ctx where showing up on trace and they were happy with baby. she had a go at my cervix and I'm back on Saturday if no progress. X bill bbl kids drama here x

Hi All! Just home today - baby Annabel Rose, 6lb 12oz, was born at 6.21 on Wednesday morning after what turned out to be a lightning labour (I had to sit around waiting for the gel to be inserted for nearly as long).

We had to stay in an extra night because of the length of time that had elapsed since my waters broke. But we're home now and she's perfect - I don't know whether I mentioned this when I first joined you, but this was my fourth (and likely last) IVF cycle, so I hardly dared to hope that we would be so lucky.

Best wishes to everyone who's still waiting - I hope you all get to meet your beautiful babies soon

Good luck for the inductions tonight! Is that three people being induced this evening or have I counted wrong?

First day solo went ok until this evening. Having problems bf still and my nipples are so sore, it's really hurting to feed her I am very close to giving up now. I've almost done it for 4 weeks and I've had enough. I'm getting really stressed about the whole thing! Just when it feels like it's getting easier, I just get sore again. Also got a blocked duct on the left hand side. I'm fed up!!!! Sorry for complaining again I just don't know what to do for the best.

Hurray gummi first baby of this thread, let's hope Annabel will start all the other babies off.
