BookTart · 13/01/2014 23:10

Yay! Congrats sarah :)

BuntCadger · 13/01/2014 23:14

Congratulations Sarah :) lovely name. My eldest is Tom.

Still rumbling away here, I think I'll try and go to bed as if baby is gonna come, it's gonna come. If ctx get too painful I'll go in but no point until it need too

Bluecarrot · 13/01/2014 23:20

nature I managed to miss your post earlier. Have you had your pee checked for protein? Have you any swelling come on in the last day or two?

sarah congrats on baby tommy :) great to hear such a positive induction story.

humpty my DP might freak if I postpone the induction past Thursday (40+10) so I'm kicking the activity level up a bit. Just did stairs for 30 mins but now I need to sleep. Hope lying down doesn't undo any progress! Not that I feel much different really. None if this "hand ready to pop out and wave" kinda pressure others have had.

Anywho, bed is calling. Night ladies

Felix90 · 13/01/2014 23:24

Congratulations Sarah!

AnotherStitchInTime · 13/01/2014 23:28

Congratulations sarahleanne :)

Welcome shroom, sorry to hear about your mum, I hope this longed for baby will ease the sense of loss you feel around this time of year.

MrsGSR sorry to hear you are struggling emotionally atm and for your loss. My dd2 was born soon after my lovely MIL had passed (and near her birthday) , it was difficult, but the joy a new life brings did help us a lot.

littleray hope your spd eases a little for you :(

NOW LISTEN ALL BABIES

Your mummies are sore, tired and fed up. They can't wait to meet you. Please make your way to the clearly marked exit.

We got signed off by the midwives today, but Mason has been referred to the jaundice clinic. Got appointment with them tomorrow afternoon.

Frizz1986 · 14/01/2014 00:03

Congrats sarahl

Welcome shroom

another I have jaundice clinic tomorrow morning! Hoping they clear her as won't have a way of getting to clinic the next time as no direct bus and will def be getting rid of the car this weekend.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 14/01/2014 00:05

sarah congratulations! Sounds like you did amazingly well!

another thank you. I shall read your post aloud to mine...

blue yeah, having panicked about induction, I'm rapidly coming to embrace the fact that by Friday it will be over one way or another!

Naturegirl82 · 14/01/2014 06:14

Congratulations Sarah glad the induction went smoothly for you.

Headache seems to have cleared now thankfully. I've got mw on Thursday anyway so will mention it then but will phone if it comes back. At least it means I can take pooch for a walk today to try and encourage this baby out.

40weeks tomorrow. I'm not concerned about being induced but I am starting to worry she won't arrive before my parents go away. If she doesn't means they won't meet her till she'll be 3 months old which I'll be really sad about. Sad I always knew it would be a possibility but just thought she would come early as both my sister's did silly I know Dh has told me not to worry as there is nothing we can do which I know is true but still.

Nothing much going on here. Not sure if it's just bh or random ctx I get over night but enough to wake me up but that is all.

Naturegirl82 · 14/01/2014 06:16

blue and bunt hope things carried on overnight for you

humpty glad you're not worrying about the induction anymore. There have been so many positive induction stories so far and at least you know you'll be meeting your little one soon Smile

Welcome shroom

Frizz and another hope you both get positive news at the jaundice clinics.

I hope sultana is ok. I don't think we have heard from her since her birth announcement

MerryPops · 14/01/2014 07:19

Congrats sarah and welcome to Tommy!

another your message to the babies made me laugh a lot

mrsgsr and shroom I am in a similar situation with my dad's birthday and anniversary of his passing coming up, it is 4 years this year but still sad. Hopefully the babies will provide comfort to us all.

I am getting a few more tummy pains now but they go off overnight so not crapping myself getting excited just yet.

Let's hope we have another baby today!

MrsGSR · 14/01/2014 07:38

Congratulations sarah!

Thanks all, just lots of mixed emotions at the moment! Plus hormones and the fact that I'm due tomorrow and have no signs of anything, no Bh, contractions, show or waters. Getting a bit frustrated!

Thoughts with shroom, merry and others who've had to deal with due dates and anniversaries. I wouldn't mind if she was born on the day but it does make it all a little more bittersweet. I can't help thinning about how much mum would have loved to have met her first grandchild.

BuntCadger · 14/01/2014 07:41

officially over due date here now for first time. been ctxing through night but managed to doze between and aware of them to the point they feature in my dream/doze. hoping today is the day but feeling like it's not going to be too long.

hope everyone waiting still doing ppm and that babies with jaundice all get the all clear xx

BuntCadger · 14/01/2014 07:41

Still doing ok not ppm fking autocorrect

enormouse · 14/01/2014 07:47

Welcome shroom and other newbies I haven't said hello to yet.

Congratulations sarah, and welcome Tommy.

MrsG we're always here to listen. X

Am up early as Ds decided to get in with us (at 5 sodding am ) and I can't get back to sleep with the sound of him and dp snoring and mouth breathing. Don't sleep very well atm anyway, I feel like I'm suffocating under my own bulk.

Mythreeknights · 14/01/2014 09:01

Ahhhhh, congratulations sarah wonderful news of what sounds like a peaceful happy birth! Is it only me who feels they are about to die (rather than give life?) you all sound so zen which is v encouraging.

Well, it's my eldest's registration day at his primary school this morning...I can't believe I have a five year old, I feel very mature Grin

bunt fx that the rumbles continue, and blue I feel the same, my other two were early and I am now more pregnant than I haves ever been in my life! I absolutely thought this one would come early too. Have wondered whether my original edd of 20 jan may be the correct date (scan put me at 16th) in which case, three days to go until I match the day I had ds2.

Mythreeknights · 14/01/2014 09:02

Sorry, comment for blue was meant for nature

Pg brain...

Mythreeknights · 14/01/2014 09:06

Talk about depressing...girls on the feb board are starting to have their babies!!! Come on jan babies

BuntCadger · 14/01/2014 09:37

I'm thinking this baby is a clever one as can hear the mayhem of our home life here hence staying in where it's quieter!

MrsVDB · 14/01/2014 10:23

Welcome shroom this must be so special for you :)

Congratulations sarah glad it all kicked off quickly for you after the stop/ starting

Good luck everyone else with happenings.

Yes I've seen that advert too. Horrible!

Feeling a lot more positive today. We laid the living room floor on Sunday so now the whole house has flooring woo! Still finishing off to do (ie downstairs skirting, coving, painting etc) but its definitely liveable now. My mums coming up tomorrow to do cleaning. Feel guilty but cleaning the bathroom really takes it out of me at the moment and house could do with a good blitz. Cleaned living room windows for first time yesterday (been no point due to building work) and they were black.

Has anyone else's tummy gone a horrible shape?? I'm assuming its where its dropped but it used to be a lovely round bump, now it's round until my belly button then straight down then this horrible fat saggy bit at the bottom which must have been more stretched so less noticeable before. It also feels pretty bruised below my belly button

Angelesque · 14/01/2014 10:31

MrsVDB my bump is uneven at the bottom now as I think I can see where part of the baby's head is - there's a baby's head sized bulge on one side!!!

MrsVDB · 14/01/2014 10:52

Eek angel that must be strange! I've got no baby bulges. Just flab :( I'm sure my tummy could pass for a beer belly now

flyawayblue · 14/01/2014 13:06

Congrats sarah, glad it went quickly for you after all the delays.

I also have odd bump shapes but opposite to you all (!) the main bump is now all below my belly button and hard. Gone all swishy above my belly button though this does mean I can now eat again Smile

Hope their are more babies today and good luck to everyone stop starting.

BandontheFun · 14/01/2014 13:11

Congratulations Sarah all sounds pretty relaxed! :)

GummiBear74 · 14/01/2014 14:22

Well done sarah!

We're just heading off to the hospital now for induction - may be a little while before I'm back in touch, as the iPad is staying at home.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting!
