How exciting gummi crossing fingers that you are on your way.

humpty you poor love, really hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

Anyone heard from sultana?? It's been a while since her last post...and no news update from enormouse makes me hopeful for her too.

fryingpantoface · 12/01/2014 20:02

Toby - i missed that you called her Meredith! I love that name!

Gummi - good luck!

littleraysofsunshine · 12/01/2014 20:29

Anyone else having lots of discharge?

Baby was 1/5th palpable last week, so almost fully engaged. I feel swollen down there and achy..

Got midwife tomorrow for my 38week check, go over my birth plan more I think, and more so for the fact that I tend to deliver very fast so just to prepare for that or surprise home birth lol

Hope everyone is well.

Also: feeling emotional about the tiniest things this past week, and dds have feel a bit odd like they sense change? I remember getting the anxious feeling before but this time it's more for the fact I have more to think about at home! Two small kids !

GummiBear74 · 12/01/2014 20:59

So waters definitely gone! A midwife will be around in the morning to check that there's no sign of infection and let me know what happens next.

TobyLerone · 12/01/2014 21:00

Good luck, gummi!

fryingpantoface · 12/01/2014 21:22

Good luck gummi it's exciting!

AnotherStitchInTime · 12/01/2014 21:27

Good luck gummi :)

Sorry to hear of dvt complications bunt, the clexane injections are not fun, but essential, I had them after my c sections.

Sending lots of Labour vibes to all you ladies suffering, it will be your turn soon I am sure.

Had a lovely restful day, my Dad popped over to help with some DIY and then my brother came over and played with the kids. DH cooked rice and peas with spicy chicken wings and bought me a super duper chocolate sundae for pud. Totally spoilt :)

Felix90 · 12/01/2014 21:35

Yay good luck Gummi!

Percypiglet · 12/01/2014 22:07

Hello, good luck all.
Anyone else had a really overly active baby in the last week of pregnancy? Baby seems to have gone a bit mad tonight?!

flyawayblue · 12/01/2014 22:14

Good luck gummy!

Sounds like a perfect day another

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 12/01/2014 22:18

Good luck gummi!

Lost loads of plug today, but only one or two ctx. Still feel sick, and v antisocial! DH made me a sofa nest, have vegged all day!

Frizz1986 · 12/01/2014 22:44

Yay gummi Fx that ctx start and there is no need for a mw visit tomorrow.
Sending out lots of labour vibes to you all.

I am feeling tired as Aurelia has fed almost every hr or so today and it's taking its toll on me. Wondering if its a growth spurt or something.

Angelesque · 12/01/2014 23:16

Percy baby has been super active this afternoon to the point where I was slightly freaking out TBH. Stomach completely rippling all over the place - went on for about 45 mins. Baby has generally been more active over last week or so... I swear he's getting bored in there Grin

BuntCadger · 12/01/2014 23:30

littleray - my youngest 2 have been super clingy recently and feels like they sense the forthcoming change.

I've been getting painful Ctx now so will see how they develop overnight.

Thanks for supportive messages and didn't realise how common it was which is reassuring iykwim. my mum is desperate to take me to scan tomorrow but I have put her off as u really can't manage her emotions as she'll make it more stressful tho not mean to.

For those who have had this will it change my chances of water birth?

MrsVDB · 13/01/2014 06:57

Good luck humpty and bunt

I'm the opposite. Baby has been much quieter the last week or so but I have been very busy so could be that.

Due to my high blood pressure at 38w mw asked me to book extra 39w apt with dr. Mw appointments are on Monday so would mean 39w would be today but couldn't get dr apt until Friday (with 40w eek apt on Monday). Should I try and go in just to get blood pressure taken today? I am still very swollen

OnlyThePurpleOnes · 13/01/2014 08:21

Mrs I'd always go in to check. Best to be on the safe side.

I'm having random contractions here and there too. Fingers crossed it turns into something.

littleraysofsunshine · 13/01/2014 10:07

Hope everyone is ok. Got the midwife this afternoon so will update then, baby is still throwing shapes in there, must be so tucked up as it's bizarre where I'm feeling it's limbs.

Anyone have/had scans at 38w?

enormouse · 13/01/2014 10:46

Oh good luck gummi and purple

Sorry for the radio silence. Had fallen into a hole of essay grimness (one more to go!) and general nesting. The tightenings were just painful BHs, depressingly.

But the baby has moved off the nerve he was trapping so I'm not as stiff in that respect but I just want him to hurry up. I do think he's following a tradition of lazy, unpunctual boys on both sides of the family. (Ds was 11 days late, dp was nearly 2 weeks, my dbro a few days) whereas girls seem to come early or on time.

Naturegirl82 · 13/01/2014 10:50

Hope things are progressing for you gummi

I think I was having random contractions last night. I've woken up feeling very strange today. Was very light headed and spaced out when I got up, and have a headache. I've had something to eat but still feeling peculiar. Does anyone think this is something to worry about? I may have just over done it yesterday, but don't want to phone the mw unnecessarily.

BuntCadger · 13/01/2014 10:55

Sat in hospital waiting to see Dr but hopeful will be allowed home. scan looked good so fingers crossed it's just bruising or baby sat on nerve. still getting Ctx but not regular enough yet. longest I've been pregnant as due today!

Percypiglet · 13/01/2014 11:03

Sounds like good news Bunt.

Nature - could be low bp?

Naturegirl82 · 13/01/2014 11:05

Thats what I wondered percy. Nothing they can do about that though is there. Think I'll just veg on the sofa and see if I feel better later.

Naturegirl82 · 13/01/2014 11:06

GummiBear74 · 13/01/2014 11:26

No real progress yet, but the plug went overnight. MW is happy that waters have gone. I need to call delivery suite tomorrow am to get time to come in for induction. In meantime, I'll be bouncing and going for a walk to try to get things going on their own Grin.

BuntCadger · 13/01/2014 12:06

How exciting gummi Grin what's your Edd again? be nice to have 14th as birthdate 14.1.14
