morning ladies!

Well things are underway with me now! Has a bit of a plug thing yesterday morning, had an appt with midwife who said she thought it would be within the next week.
Then at 2am this morning I woke up suddenly to feel this wooshing of liquid, and just made it to the loo in time - my waters had broken!!
So I called the hospital and they asked me to come in. Was on the ECG for half an hour, they could see tightenings happening even though I couldn't feel them yet. Was 1 cm dialated.
They have sent me home , and if contractions proper haven't started by tomorrow morning I will beinduced, but I think it is underway - keep getting waves of period type pain.
Tried to go back to sleep but couldn't.... and was starving, so having a bowl of cereal, and catching up with you all before I try sleeping again.
Hope it wont be too hot today eeeeeek!
I had decided yeasterday not to leave the house again until labour as some kind soul asked me in the shop yesterday if I was expecting twins!!!
oh, and the midwife this morning also said that she thought the baby felt big, and that the growth scan was probably wrong. Great. Why bother sending people for growth scans if they are so inaccurate?!?!?!?
Anyhooo.... feeling calm at the moment, but I think that is because it hasn't quite sinked in yet that this is happening - I feel like I am watching a movie of someone else's life!
